We had water shortages last summer in the Netherlands. We highely depent on the Rijn and Maas river to deliver enough water, but the very dry and warm weather last year resulted in the water level being so low some rivers and channels couldn't be used for transporting goods anymore. The government also forbade farmers in a big part of the country not to use water to save their crobs. Climate change doesn't always mean more water....

The Wolf is officially comming back to the Netherlands. Last week it was stated that at least one wolf has settled (been here for 6 months) in the Veluwe hills. Several others have passed through the country in the last few years. If groups of wolfs start to settle, it would mean the first permanent dutch wolf population since the middle of the 19th century.
Very minor mistake!: The Willem van Oranje you mentioned in the video was not the first king of the Netherlands, but the first stadtholder and prince of Orange. The Netherlands did not have a king until after the Napoleonic wars, where they finally decided to make the son of the last stadtholder the official king, even though the Orange-Nassau family had essentially ruled as hereditary rulers since the Willem van Oranje you mentioned in the video :)
exactly the first Dutch King was Napoléons younger Brother Louis who abdicated i 1810 in favour of his son Louis II Wilhelm von Nassau was the third king

The Netherlands are blessed with such beautiful, geographical variety of sceneries.
William of Orange was never king of the Netherlands, but a Dutch Stadhouder (Govenor) while the Dutch were fighting Spain for independence.

Take ours, then maybe they wouldn't have to kill wolves!
