"Full raytracing" you mean path tracing?

      Yes,
Nvidia called it "Full Ray Tracing" right now

did they use a 4090 on 1080p to get those numbers?

DLSS set at "performance" = 1080p upscaled to 4K

Probably not but I am sure it’s a 4090 why even get anything else.

@@MrDecessus well upscaling from 1080p is definitely easier than native. Kinda dissapointed how weak the 4090 is, even the best card cant handle native 4k UE5 games. For that money, i expected much much better.

@@__-fi6xg when unreal engine 4 came out the best video cards back then cant run it at max its only recently that UE4 is getting maxed out. ill be disappointed if 4090 can run UE5 easily this early into its release. i do have a 4090 though. the only UE5 game i played so far is the Immortals of aveum. at dlss perfromance at 4k it runs 100 to 120. looks great and smooth. it can run that game it can run that game at 4k60 native easily. so i think the video shown is not 4090.

@@kuyakoiaguilar7767 we will see what happens if more games come out with full path tracing and lumen like cyberpunk but in UE 5. From what i have seen, most games that are that demanding, aren't even that impressive to me.
Borderlands looks hand-drawn, doesnt require high performing parts, yet it is infinitely more fun that some of those UE5 games.
Since most games are console optimized... i wonder if day 1 purchase is even viable.
PS 5 already has problems running the game you mentioned and can only display it at 720p. pathetic.
I mean any PC with a 16 gb gpu should be able to run better. Just cause they are way more powerful by design yet i wonder if people even appreciate 2k or 4k visuals or if you just accept it as normal.
I personally listen to videos at 460p because the audio doesn't change much if you go higher, besides i already have improved audio on my MB so i cant hear the difference at all if there is even any.
I play games on different resolutions because sometimes you really cant tell the difference and old games like black desert online somehow manage to look and run better than UE5 games.
