      I feel like after he explained this makes me feel like the misconceptions are actually his fault. Nobody's sabotaged him he did not have context. Instead of saying certain moves are banned he just said that moves are banned. That just leads people to think they're just having staring contests in the ring.

    When EC3 explain it it's actually kinda make sense what he's trying to create but the execution and the production were literally the worst thing in wrestling ever, even the fan recording a show with their phone is better than CYN thing. Also CYN just showed why not everyone should have creative control

    • @higurashianduminekoconnect1702
      @higurashianduminekoconnect1702 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes but that's also why it's his fault. It was poorly explained which means it's not clever the way he put it out there. He left no context. If he was banning certain moves. He should have said a certain moves are banned. However he said moves are banned which means you're leading people to think that there's no wrestling just staring at eachother.

      @@dwightyboy5324 CYN reminds me of a tournament KRIMINAL did, it's a small promotion in Mexico, the Torneo Prohibido (Forbidden Tournament). Normal tournament save for one thing, there are four moves that lead to instant DQ, Destructor (Canadian Destroyer), Super Patada (Superkick), Spanish Fly and Tijera (Hurracanranna). • @NathanTG
    @NathanTG 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Now I get it...and I get it makes sense if you have a "narrative". But the execution was short sighted and not done well. I agree those moves are overdone *looks intensely at AEW* but they were considered overdone over a period of time. We had atleast 7 or 8 years of those moves being repeated until we lost the sense of their impact and it became an ordinary move. (Know your audience).
    So for a Very indy looking low budget company who's goal is to attract new and more viewers, it was a crazy choice to implement banning moves right at the inception of the company. Because after years of becoming numb to those moves, CYN wouldve got the same reaction if they banned a punch, or chop, or suplex.
    They were short sighted because if they wanted long term stories based on moves...Simply DONT have anyone do it. Thats all. For 2 or 3 years have nobody do those moves, dont mention banning them..simply have a superkick done after 2 years and the guy gets stretchered out. Fans will catch on and connect the dots.
    Instead, you outright ban moves and say it to the audience at home...and it makes a company who's name is Control Your Narrative look dumb af when the wrestlers arent being allowed to control the moves they're able to do, example, having someone hesitate before doing a superkick because theyre not allowed to do it.. Cmon.
