    I got this phone about a month ago and love it. Huge upgrade to my A51 in every way. Battery life, performance, and display have all been excellent for me. My only nitpick is the super weak vibration motor, which I find very annoying considering the FE's supposed flagship status.

    I agree with you in many aspects, I have it and it only bothers me that it is heavy, the fact that all the fingerprints stick on the back I have a case I am not worried, the cameras very good and I found it at 469 usd, for that price it is an excellent option only that the S23 the Gen 2 the battery is more than good, it's the best and this FE processor doesn't do that. In europe the S23FE is using the Exynoss 2200 🤡

      Only time mine really got warm was the first day. Setting up, transferring and updating. Felt like holding a cup of coffee. Modem's running, processor's running, battery's charging. It was a busy little processor then.
      I'm not a gamer. It has gotten warm from heavy use but no lag issues and never what I would call hot. My modem at home gets much warmer. I also use a case which doesn't help heat dispensing.

      agh sorry for not replying!!! soo like yeah i wouldn't rlly recommend this phone. i got the cream coloured one and it looks gorgeous tho. on paper it sounds like a great phone for the price (which is why i think a lot of regular video reviews don't have much bad things to say about it), it has a 120hz oled screen, it has very good durability, it has a very competent camera, it has a fine processor if u need it for anything ur doing ig, and one ui is an okay experience (there's a bit of jank that i wouldn't rlly expect from a year-old-released phone from the biggest android phone company). HOWEVER, a huge dealbreaker for me and kinda makes or breaks my experience with the phone is the battery. i can't really enjoy the good features of my phone that much if that enjoyment only lasts like what, 4-5 hours in a day?? i find it terrible that the australian samsung website promised me 70 hours of listening to music, when during college i'm listening to music and occasionally using my phone for watching things throughout my classes and in 4 hours it goes from 70%-80% to 30%-40%. i've only been using it for a month and a half now and the battery life is a sad fraction of what's advertised. i dont get it at all. my guess for the reason why the battery is so terrible is because of how unoptimised the processor is, but i dont get how samsung can tell people on its website such a huge lie. the samsung forums were right too, power saving doesn't really do anything. the longest i can get my phone to last without any charging throughout the day is like 6 hours, and the website said watch-time up to 22 hours :(
      if u already have purchased this phone and are waiting for it to come, please get a powerbank for charging it. oh yeah speaking of the charger, it's also kinda shit as well. you'd expect them to not include a power brick nowadays but i didn't expect for the charging port to break so quickly??? it just does NOT want to charge properly through the charging port. from what i can see it doesn't have any dirt in there, but when i use any cable (i've used like 5 different cables, genuinely) it always says "12-14h until fully charged" until i wiggle it in the right position (which comes as a pretty difficult task at times). i have now resorted to only wireless charging, which sucks a lot considering that i have to use a powerbank if i want to use my phone throughout the day, and it's really inconvenient to take a portable wireless charger with you without the stability of a plugged in cable. the phone is just sad honestly. i still love it, but the battery is such a huge component of it and i feel like i really just does not justify the price. i've read forums talking about other flagship samsung phones suffering terrible battery life but i can't say for sure which other ones. i feel like i would've been better off getting the a54 or something ;; oh well. that's my review ig!!! sorry for the wait :c

      extra notes: it's kinda heavy but i prefer that and it feels more stable, the bezels aren't a problem for me bc i don't mind, and it gets hot pretty easily and at most that's just mildly annoying. like a 6/10 phone for me.

    S23 FE is not remotely close to A54. A54 is a midranger with a midrange processor, a plastic frame and okayish cameras. What these phones have common is thick bezels. Not as bad as the iPhone 11, but still bad.
    S23 FE is like a 1-2 year old flagship with the exeption of thicker bezels. A midranger is always a midranger. There are more compromises and lacking features like the full ingress protection, capable cameras, wireless and reverse charging, long software support, DEX etc. Of course price is a decisive factor as well and the asking price for S23 FE is too much in many countries.

    I got my mom the s23 fe & she loves it for her needs. It’s a great phone for an average person with average needs. I need an s24 ultra & iPhone 15 pro max for my line of work.

      Here is someone who stares at bezels instead of actually looking at content on screen. Yet notches and Dynamic Island that are even fatter and take up more useable screen are perfectly okay huh? If you want tiny bezels, go spend more instead of crying about something so pointless on a phone that I clearly not priced as a premium flagship phone. You get what you pay for.

    • @abbasalbashir1711
      @abbasalbashir1711 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @elpolloloco9657 relax lil bro, I hate the dynamic island as well and about the "you get what you pay for" with samsung and apple you don't, just check poco phones with almost no bezels and half the price of the s23fe like the f5, but they lack in software optimisation and animation scaling, so choose what you want I guess.

    I feel like this phone shouldn't exist. Smaller battery than the A54 but weaker chip than the S23 series. This phone is supposed to fill that gap but it doesn't have a place not to mentioned the 8 Gen 1 was banned from Geekbench. Should've gotten the 8 Plus Gen 1.

    • @TaylorABell

      What a comment... Only expected from a stupid iPhone user. You know what they say.... The iPhone is the smart phone for dumb people. The S23 fe is hands down the far better, no brainer choice over any iPhone. You see I could pull many points to support my opinion but what is fact is that apple hates it's consumer and the very person making this comment I am replying to. Apple actually degrades it's users phones over time with every update when a new model is out in hopes the stupid apple consumer just buys a new iPhone. Which I'm sure is exactly what this commenter did. These apple fan boys (girly boys) just don't get it SMH

      Nah, especially now it's like 400 something along with a trade in you can get it for 300 something. Imo iPhones not worth it cus you can get pixel 8, s23 series, nothing phone, and many more which are all better for less $
