thank you for the videos.. i just relized you come from Deni ... i was born and breed in Finley my cuzin runs trucks out of Deni ...thank you for the videos ..
Well done Johnno , nice drive up the gutts must try it one day. I had a run out to Charleville from Rolling Stone and found the road in good condition from Townesville . Cheers Michael.
Very nice see you and the baby back on the road, the tripod on the edge of the seats looks like a alien, you are sitting on a german seat from Isringhausen. Take care safe trip.
Engine noise is appreciated. I notice your truck is manual 18 sp i guess. Could you show us some gear changing action ? I think many of yr subscribers would be fsscinated how you get 18 speeds from a single H pattern.
I’ve only just found your channel. Brilliant videoing and content. I’m over in the UK and have only been over to Australia once, in 2000. Loved what I saw in Queensland, NT and WA. To see my first road train was an experience. Total respect to you and the drivers. Thanks for taking the time and putting the effort into making and posting your videos. 🇬🇧
WOW Johno, that was fabulous. Thanks for taking us on another trip with you. The engine noise was okay, need to be a bit louder or am I going deaf.😅 And yes, the wide open spaces where there are no or very few signs of human activity are the places to be. You truly have a fantastic veiw out of your office window. 😍
I have to say for only 11.4k subs the quality of the videos is top notch. I quite enjoyed seeing you working to fix your electrical fault, I'm a truck mechanic in Canada so it's interesting to see the differences and similarities between our trucks and yours.
I'm nervous driving alongside or in front of (big) trucks so what you're showing me is the lovely human element behind the wheel(s). Love love love seeing Australia from your POV!!
Thanks Jane. I'm actually more confident driving beside a truck than a car as trucks are notarial paying attention to those around you. Glad I am able to make you feel more at ease around us.
Hi Johno thanks for taking us on your trip. Brings back fond memories of being a radio linesman in the late 80,s early 90,s upgrading the school of the air system all across NSW and working or staying in most of the towns on this trip and then as a research assistant for weed herbicide trials in Western QLD. I too love the bush 👍
I,m not to clued on HF side of things my job was to lift the new antenna up the tower and run the coaxial cable down the tower and into the equipment shed and a technician would come at a later date and connect, test and switch on. It took usually took 3 days each tower and then on to the next one. Lots of K,s put on the clock driving 18ft flat bed and towing a 5 ton winch. Absolutely great views from the top of the tower and no annoying flies😂.
Awesome. I had a 100ft tower in the back yard of my house growing up. RG213. I still play around with this stuff. I was thinking about putting a Codan in my truck but not sure if it would be worth it. I'm a little scared of heights but have been up a couple of towers.
That was excellent Johnno, great bit of camera work and editing mate. Impressive bit of trouble shooting with the aircon, well done. You dont see many tarped loads around anymore! After just completing an around the country trip, you can't beat the ever changing landscapes in Australia,or the ever smelling drop dunnies😂 Keep up the good work, safe travels mate
Good day Johno, What a great video, if it isn’t a piston liner it is an air cond unit. Great fix & great video from start to finish. Cheers Louis Kats 👍 😊
Great drone vision great channel drove a truck Brisbane to Adelaide across the Hay plains felt quite unwell flew Adelaide to Melbourne in hospital that night had my appendix out was just about to rupture just made it thanks for sharing Johnno
I'll stay tuned for Chillago , I took an ATCO hut up there back in the1980'S , from Almaden to the racecourse is 5Klms, , it was so corrugated it took 15 minutes, but probably not as bad as in 1981/2 I went from Winton to Boulia , 88 klms of dirt took 6 hours in the Roadtrain Car Carrier, that was better than going direct to Cloncurry about 300 K's of black soil back then.
G’day mate, I think you’ve nailed it with this video, it has everything that I like. Your commentary and video views are really great. The night shots with the big lights on were spectacular thanks to those big LED’s. Thanks for the look around Townsville, but out in the scrub, mate you can’t beat that. I miss the big diesels ( retired miner), but I’ll always go for a trip with you blokes. Thanks mate.🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks Graham. Yes I love the outback. It's just a pity my wife doesn't. This is exactly the kind of place she'd hate to live. She doesn't like spiders and insects. Anyway with this job I get the best of both worlds.
I will show tarping one day when I get an easy tarp load. One that is square. The uneven loads are harder and I may not have the energy to explain all that. Ha ha. No I will try to explain the harder tarp jobs asking the way, at some stage.

I'm not sure if they enforce any operator drive times. What is the fuel capacity in your Kenworth?

@@RoadTrainAdventures Thats the spirit of a open country trucky,if you ask me.Just like the old days. That is good for the company and the driver. Freedom and trust are the keywords. Now you'll know how to fix the air con. Love the new logo look. Good stuff.
Yes Ken had a great new logo.
Multi tasking. Truck driver. Auto electrician. Cameraman. Drone pilot. Wildlife photographer. Video producer. All in a day's work. Good job.
Thanks Dave. Yeah I wish my son was old enough to come out and do this with me.

Nice and interesting trip Johnno. 🖐🏻
Awesome. Thanks again Alan
Loved the vid... especially the engine. Mmmmm music to my soul! Thankx

Excellent V.. loved it. Did the Road to Cobar to Bourke, bloody goats all the way.
No the goats along that section have all been educated not to run in front of trucks. The kangaroos haven't got that message yet.
