- I'm sharing my method for forming rings out of raw stone. I'll be quick to say it may not be the best method, but as you'll see, it's certainly an easy method.
I sell stones, jewelry, and other bits at:

This was so fun to watch. Beautiful rings. You are getting very creative. I love the sounds that the rock pieces make as the ladies go through them. Enjoyed watching 😊
The pitch of tumbled slabs is very relaxing. I'll let the ladies know you had a good time. Thanks for watching, as always.
Those are so cool! It is good to experiment for the beginning of what rock/fossil could work best. Desert Rose Jasper is gorgeous. Have a blessed day to you both. Great work!
I wish the fossils had worked, but I think they say "experimentation is the mother of all genius". Thanks for watching. I feel like I should send you one of these for your collection of treasures.
@kengensjewelry good morning Ken! I'd love that! You do beautiful work my friend. I'm not sure how that would work or how to do payment, but willing to hear any suggestions. Wishing you a great day. Beryl remnants rainy here today. Hope all is well
I used an identical process to make aquarium planters. The rock slabs protect the plant roots from digging fish and from floating up in the time that they root down.
I'm not familiar with aquariums, but I get what you mean. It'd be a quick and genius way to protect water plants.
@@kengensjewelry it’s also a good way to reuse those scrap pieces after you’ve cut your circles out of them. They just have to be non-reactive in an acidic environment.
gotta do it with some jade. harder to drill and cut but man as long as there is no fractures you get a strong ring. That being said the adventurine has a great color.
I'd love to work with jade, but I'll have to go with the green aventurine as the budget version for now.😉
Some companies are doing this with lab diamond also.
Really?! That seems like it'd be a tough cut.
