Hi Stephanie, I too have extremely dry, dehydrated under eyes and concealers are for sure a huge challenge for me, at 63. Up until about 3 yrs ago, I never used concealers, I applied my foundation under my eyes and it always worked until aging started. I don’t have dark circles, but do have hollows and a tiny amnt of bluish, under eyes. Do you have a video that you show how you “ Prep your skin under and around your eyes?I will look thru your videos. Really enjoyed this video. So glad you popped up on my home page.
I'm 60 yrs old with dry undereye area and dark circles. My favorite concealer is Peeper Perfect under eye concealer by Winky Lux. I've been using it for almost one year and love it. It's hydrating and conceals.
This one is highly underrated. I just pulled it out and started using it again, Im 63 with dark circles and somewhat dry undereyes. Also been using the Kyda sunscreen concealer, and the Catrice Tru Skin. Even with corrector, I feel like my dark circles are still so obvious!
Thank you, Stephanie. I so appreciate all you do for your viewers. I've been searching for the best concealer for my almost 67 year old dry under eyes. I have several new ones that I will be trying in the near future.
Thank you, very much, Stephanie 🍃🦋🍃. This is just one of my very favorite special segments that you present on your channel! You are beyond helpful with testing all of these concealers, & I appreciate it so much. I, unfortunately, look like I have 2 black eyes every morning 😳😁, so watching you really test out these concealers, & give us YOUR opinion, is just the best💗. I cannot afford to try out every new concealer, so fortunately I can look to you for what you think are good options, & I can go from there! I want you to know that I realize what a large undertaking this is on your part, and that I am sincerely grateful for all of your work & effort 🍃🌹🍃. I am looking forward to trying out the new Tarte concealer this week with a different corrector. I so want it to work 😊!! Hope you have Happy Day, Stephanie 🍃🌻🍃.
I just ordered the Tarte creaseless concealer last night from QVC. They have Tarte products on sale this week with free shipping! This concealer comes with a free concealer brush for $24.98. I'm so excited to try it! Thank you, Stephanie, for the review! It came at a perfect time! ❤
Another detailed review of concealers. Thank you for the time and research you do on these products. Because of your reviews, I bought Dior creaseless concealer years ago, and was going to buy another one. Wanted to check with you, did they change the formula? I had heard from another TH-camr that the formula was changed about a year ago. Could you share that info with us? I loved it!😍😍
Hi Stephanie! I’m just about the exact same complexion as you (your shades almost always work perfectly for me), and when I got shade-matched at Ulta for the Tarte Creamy Creaseless concealer, 27S ended up being really great for a non-brightening shade for me. Weirdly, 29N pulled warmer on me than 27S. 🤷🏻♀️ I really appreciate all the detail and thoroughness you put into all your reviews! They’ve been super helpful for this 40+ combo oily girl in the humid Midwest. Thank you for all your hard work! 💕
Thank u for all the testing you do! I have 55yo tan skin with dry , dark undereyes with slight hollow troughs. I also have the fine lines undereyes. I dont set because of my dryness. Right now, Ilia concealer is working well for me but always open to new recommendations 😊. I also need to use corrector to avoid "ashy" look with concealer alone. Your videos on concealers, correctors and foundations (i have combo oily skin too) have helped immensely! You recommended Fenty Ease Drop skin tint and i love it!
I tried the Tarte color corrector in peachy pink (the lightest color) shade and found that it was to peach for me. I found that the coverage was light medium at best, and it didn't impress me with coverage when I put concealer over it, so I returned it. I'm still on the hunt for a better color corrector. Will definitely look into the thread concealer!! Thanks for the reviews!!!!
Thanks for reminding me to give you a thumbs up. I would have forgotten and so appreciate your continent ❤️. I think I’m going to try out the thread it one at Target. Now just need to find a corrector. Using your videos to try to update my look, as I emerge from a period of frump and lack of self care.
Great collection of reviews on concealers. Have you tried the Westman Atelier concealer or the Sarah Creal Beauty concealer? Looking forward to those reviews.
Flower Beauty has Get Real serum concealer that's my current love. I still have to use a color corrector underneath, but it sets nice even without powder. No creasing, doesn't sweat off, just stays nice all day! The Joah is next on my list - you and a few other YTers really love it, so thanks for testing drugstore brands right alongside high-end!
I have strong purplish-brown dark undereye circles. I am 48 and have my fair share of fine lines and dryness. If I carefully apply 2 layers of the new Tarte creamy corrector in Peach, for me the result is better than the Bobbi Brown corrector stick or the Charlotte Tilbury pot corrector. I can top it with the tiniest amount of concealer and set it with powder and look refreshed and hydrated, not look like a crusty zombie mummy!
Hi Stephanie, would you do a new under eye corrector video? I love your older one! Just wanted to see if there's anything new out there (my dark circles are getting any younger). 😊
Oh gosh I didn’t realize how long it’s been since I did that video! I’ve been planning for a top concealers video and didn’t think it was time for correctors! Absolutely! 💗
Thank you for the concealer video. I can’t use Tarte concealers. They don’t cover my under eye circles and they dry out my 63 year old skin 😢 I will definitely give the one from Target a try. I’ve tried so many concealers over the last couple of years that don’t work. None of them last more than 2 hours under my eyes and they definitely don’t cover my dark circles. I have tried them all from Charlotte Tilbury to Elf and none of them work. I’m getting very frustrated.
Thank you!!! Have you tried the suratt beauty concealer? I’ve heard such good things from one or two people but haven’t had a chance to try it yet. Really value your opinion :)
I came here, somewhat belatedly, to say that the Thread complexion stick is just as good! I grabbed the concealer on a whim after I saw it in yiur video, I had a gift card, I figured why not. Grabbed a complexion stick while I was at it and tried it out right in the parking lot. Best stick I ever tried. I grabbed Fair Cool (I'm Covergirl matte made L70/MAC NW13, so fair and very cool), it's a tad too light. But it's sooo creamy, glides on smoothly, it's a good medium/satin to matte finish. I'm 50 btw, so creasing is a thing! Def worth a try!
Hi, you should definitely try the Rimmel multitasker concealer. I think it’s new. It’s fantastic, full coverage, lasts all day. I have dry, mature skin, with very dark circles. It’s cheap, but performs like high end, I’ve tried them all.
Thanks for sharing your reviews. I've been trying to use up a mini tarte shape tape so I mix it w/ physicians formula butter glow & it's been great. I'm so grateful you're here !

Audacity indeed re all the claims of concealers being full coverage. Look they'll cover a tattoo. Ha only if you don't blend it out! I don't have tattoos but am in the same boat as you! Have you tried the Fitglow concealer? It's very nice (colour range is not great though). The new Revlon flex concealer is not bad coverage but a tad bit dry. A little dab will do you!
I rely on my skincare for skincare benefits lol. Sometimes these skincare infused makeup products on top of my actual skincare it pills. Or it's too emollient. I don't know a single person that uses makeup for skincare. I don't know a single person that has noticed any benefits from skincare infused makeup. It's pointless to me, makes things more expensive, and is just too much Sometimes. That being said ai do love quite a few luxury foundations and they tend to have skincare benefits 😂

Hello, Stephanie! I wanted to sign up for your newsletter but it won't let me type anything in. :(
Ahh! I see! Members only.
Wait what do you mean? It should let you sign up. Let me check on that!
The form should work for you. I just tested it on three devices - my phone, laptop and iPad. The “members only” means you’re part of my newsletter crew once you join! :) You may need to clear your cache and cookies. Sometimes that fixes issues like this. 💗
@@StephanieMarie Thank you so much, sweetie! Signed up through your blog. Should have thought of that. Thanks for your help! LOVE your videos! 🥰
@@StephanieMarieStephanie I love wearing my super glossy hot pink lipstick with my braces and headgear with stainless steel springs going into my mouth but do you think a blood red lipstick would look better then my glossy Brite hot pink doe
What is your favorite corrector?

I rely on my skincare for skincare benefits lol. Sometimes these skincare infused makeup products on top of my actual skincare it pills. Or it's too emollient. I don't know a single person that uses makeup for skincare. I don't know a single person that has noticed any benefits from skincare infused makeup. It's pointless to me, makes things more expensive, and is just too much Sometimes. That being said ai do love quite a few luxury foundations and they tend to have skincare benefits 😂
Thats why you sleep on your back & dont move. That would be me
I swear to God, without makeup you don’t look a day older than 29!!!
