One thing I've picked up from you is to heavily utilize stipling/tapping instead of heavy swiping! Since I started gently stipling in my foundation/cream bronzer/blush.... literal Game changer!

I’m definitely not a beginner (I’m 62 lol), but I am always on the lookout for new (to me) ways to apply makeup. I always come away from your videos with new methods to try, so I thank you for that! The biggest takeaway for me today is letting my concealer sit for a bit before I blend. I usually jump right in and start blending and it basically disappears. We are taking our granddaughter out to eat tonight for her birthday so I’ll try this then!

I've been experimentING with just drawing the wing straight out with only powder. My hood fold doesn't point downward that much right now so I can kind of avoid it. But still hard😩

Thank you Nikki! What a Great Pro Tips for Beginners Guide for pro application of makeup. That’s one mistake i was making; not allowing my concealer to dry down a bit before taping into my skin. I bought my foundation after watching your videos so many times. As a suggestion, I’d love to see a video about concealers, more specifically talking about how to choose a good shade. I’ve been struggling to figure out which one I should pick… same shade as my skin? Lighter? Darker? What’s the different and what kind of effects I’ll get? I always learn so much with nikki! I love the eyeliner tip! I was wondering What if I have eyelash extension? I find it really difficult to create an eyeliner on my eye because my lashes are in the way. Wonderful job this is amazing!!

Nikki, your advice has changed my makeup application soo much, thank you. Having said, eyeliner on mature loose skin... still a can be difficult because the skin moves on out corner as well as the lid 😢any tips for that?
Those are not even beginner tips! I think a lot of people that are applying makeup for 10+ years do not know about those (myself included)! Definitely gonna try the foundation and concealer tips! Just a question, can we find your brushes anywhere in Europe?

I got the new ethereal palette by make up by Mario. It has a black and a Brown, so I really needed the eyeliner tips. I've never done eyeliner before. You make it look so easy.

I would love to know how to prevent mascara or eyeliner from falling to bottom lashes and under eyes. For example, how does Taylor Swift perform rained out shows and not have any mascara or eyeliner smear. And also not look like we have crepey skin from a ton of powder? I put my mascara on right before i leave the house and not a moment before because my eyes love to water 😂! If i put it on too early, my allergies kick up and the mascara ruins my concealer. I use eye cream or face cream to clean up.

Really helpful video. I have hooded Asian eyes, is the eyeliner technique the same? Do I apply the eyeliner over the hood? Feel like I have to lift the lid in the corner or slightly one my eye. Help!

Try this tip of priming the brush and also try incorporating a grippy / tacky primer!
When I apply my foundation, how do I avoid disrupting my color corrector which is on my melasma (on my high cheeks and above upper lip)? Thank you for the video!
A couple things- make sure to Tap your foundation lightly on top so you don’t disrupt it, also let the color corrector fully dry down before applying foundation on top. You can also LIGHTLY set the corrector with powder before putting foundation on it. I hope this helps!
