I am 78 years old with good skin and not too many wrinkles --- thank you grandma for your DNA!! I just got the Tirtir and I am blown away!! I loved my old foundation, but this product is a total game changer!! I use a foundation brush as per Niki Le Rose, and smooshed the brush on that pallet side. I used so little, and received a great amount of coverage --- goes on like butter!! I have the regular, not mat, but I will add some glow next time in strategic places. Thank you for your great video. Just remember gorgeous lady, some of us out there watching are older glamor girls!!!

What products you apply before foundation? I tried today and it loojed so bad on me. My pores and skin texture was so much visible like there are holes on my whole face.

I'm in the Caribbean, 44 yrs old...the Tirtir has been phenomenal in our heat & humidity. I watched Robert Welch's vid on how to apply. I got a lighter shade to use as under eye concealer. It's that good! I only set my tzone where I get oily. So impressive.

I really love the Tir Tie foundation and have bought twice and also a mini travel one. I would love to try the Fenty just curious. I am 75 and told I look 10 plus years younger, no texture problem or any lines on my cheeks or anywhere except some crows feet. I love your channel and learn so much from you. U and Risa are the best!!!!!

I love everything Tom Ford. After watching several influencers I din’t even want a sample of this foundation. Someone once said “makeup should work for you, not you having to work for makeup”. So this foundation is a pass for me.

TIRTIR Red Cushion foundation is best applied by BARELY tapping the sponge to the cushion. Apply NO pressure. You will not see product on the sponge, but once you softly tap it onto your skin, the foundation will disperse and give you the most beautiful, softly-lit evening of your skin tone. Let it sit for a minute, then tap again (without re-dipping) over the areas that need more coverage. This foundation has quickly shot up to the top of my "favorites" list!

    • @irairod5160
      @irairod5160 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@missbehaving4710 I don't use a primer. I apply sunscreen, let it dry, and then pat the TirTir foundation on top.

Great video…very detailed. I am currently using the Tir Tir and love it. I use the sponge it comes with - I very lightly press the sponge in once and get great medium to medium full coverage with that tiny bit. So far this method is working great. I have dry skin.

I’m about to be 46, and the TirTir works for my combo skin in SoCal. It layered well and didn’t wear off in my usual places. I would let it sit while you do other makeup before setting with powder, which will allow it to fuse with your skin.

This is always my favorite Stephanie video! Best concealers ranks up there too! I applied TirTir today. I wear Patagonia in Nars Light Reflecting. Mocha is the perfect match. Im enjoying the new Fenty foundation as well. I have recently been loving a new foundation (for me). It's the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Skin Perfecting Sunscreen (15) makeup. Of course, I use my own sunscreen. This foundation is lightweight and so smoothing on my 74 yr old normal (with a couole of dry patches) skin. Plus it still looks beautiful 12 hours later! Happy Sunday, Stephanie. Always appreciate your reviews!

I just can’t believe that a $150 foundation is that much better than less expensive makeup products. I would never spend that (even if I could ) on a foundation. Just seems ridiculous. But I appreciate the honest reviews. I’m 60 and it’s harder and harder to find foundation that compliments my drier, wrinkled and textured skin. I am happy to see your review of the ridiculously expensive foundation from Tom Ford that reaffirms my opinions about overpriced makeup brands not being all that! I just got my sample pack of the tir tir shades from YesStyle and am so excited to try them out and hopefully find my perfect shade before ordering a full compact.

Thank you so much for another wonderful review! My favorite foundations are Chanel Le teint all day wear and Laura Mercier Real flawless. LM is very comfortable on the face but if you use too much can be too glowy for my liking at times (depends on the primer etc). With the Chanel, I have purchased and repurchased and it never fails me. It’s a liquid, applies like a dream, layers like no other, works with anything underneath. Yes, it’s $65 but it’s worth it for me. My skin is dry and I use tazorac so it can be very sensitive. My favorite primers are ELF power grip and Laura mercier pure canvas hydrating.

Hi Stephanie, I always love watching your makeup reviews, especially foundations. I live in a hot and humid environment all year long, Hawaii (I know, I know :how awful" 😉) and I am turning 49 this year and recently I have spent a lot of time and money trying to find the right sunscreen / foundation combo. So far powder foundations seem ok. I also have oily/combination skin. I discovered I can't put primer on after my sunscreen and foundation on top of that too much figuring out what plays nice together.
What is a good sunscreen and foundation combo?

I'm your "summer" shade (2W2 Rattan ) and for the TirTir foundation, after trying many different shades, I decided to keep 2 of them: "24W Soft Beige" for the perimeter of my face, and "24N Latte" for the center of my face. I have subtle olive undertones, so while my body might look "tanned", my neck and face are much lighter and cooler in tone. I'm leaving that info here in case it's helpful to others who are "almost" your shade, Stephanie, but one tick deeper and more olivine. (PS---If I had to choose ONE shade, I'd go with the "24N Latte" to best match my natural cool-olive undertone. It would also make for the best shade year-round, when I do not have to compensate for the increase in "warmth" I get during summer. The other shade, 24W Soft Beige, reads more "golden".)

I was trying everything I could thing of with this foundation to get it to apply right. When I saw this review, I had that aha moment. Apply it with a dry sponge on dry skin.. makes so much sense. I can now apply it nicely and within 20 minutes as opposed to the 4 hours it was taking me due to putting it on and taking it off. Thank you so much??

I've been on the fence re: the cushion foundation mainly because I had analysis paralysis on the shade. With you having yellowish undertones and the Neutral being too yellow, i'll try the 21c instead of 21n and see what that does. (I'm an nc17 in mac, 215/220 in Lancome, and 2n1/2n2 in EL DW but the 2n1 can be a bit yellow on me as well). Thank you so much for this review!!

I really really loved the tirtir the first couple times i wore it. The third or fourth it looked really bad. I mightve applied too much. I think i had more peeling akin around my mouth too. Also i think i had some tan on my face because it was way too light all of the sudden lol. I mean it's summer now and I've spent a lot more time swimming and stuff than i used to. I of course use tons of sunscreen on my face but it still just didn't look right.

Hi there Stephanie! Now I've gotta be honest, I started checking out your channel as a result of your BFF Risa, who I've been a fan of since 2021, telling me you two are close friends. But now that I've seen a few of your videos, I'm so glad I subscribed. I also think that as far as skin tone and depth, I may be a shade Twin of yours. Although I know that you have mentioned dry skin and mine is a true oily mature skin type. I was wondering what you think of the Loreal True Match Nude hyaluronic tinted serum. I seem to fall within 2 shades, the shade 1-2.5 and the light 2-3. Do you have an opinion or any tips on whether I should mix the 2 (I bought a bottle of each) and how to do so? Also I hate, hate, hate powder and wish I didn't have to use it for longwear longevity...but the alternatives like a mattifying primer underneath more dewy/luminous formulas...the.one I used was the L'Oréal Paris Matte Lock primer (this is apparently a fave of Risas). But I am not an avid fan like she is....that primer seems to always either oxidize with the foundation I wear over it or make any complexion products, no matter the type of formula (liquid, cream, even powder) that I wear over it look cakey or dry. Also I was wondering if you could let me know your thoughts about contour/bronzer...because what I've learned through watching various videos and research.....contour should be cool toned so as to mimic the look of shadows on the face. But I've seen YT influences, Risa included, use bronzers that are quite warm toned for contouring as well. Especially on the nose contour....Idk, that just doesn't look right on me. Any tips?

Pulling the trigger on the ND powder. I have been back and forth. Is this anything like the MUFE powder foundation in texture? The Fenty foundation beats everything for me. Even the highest priced foundation. It’s adaptable like you said. 100% on the note about cushion user error.

I got a sample of the Tom ford Architect and I had to wipe my whole face off because I absolutely could not make it work. I used the traceless primer and it was like rubbing dried concrete on my face. I tried it with a dry Stanz out sponge and then tried to blend with a brush and it was a dry mess. I could not fix it, I couldn’t blend it, and it took straight oil eye makeup remover to get it off. I was so upset because I wanted to love it, but since they don’t have it in my shade, it’s sadly a no for me. I do love the traceless, even though they don’t have a medium cool shade, I’m sad it’s likely being discontinued and replaced with this. I don’t know how on earth they call it a soft matte because this was the absolute most matte foundation I’ve ever put on my face.

I adore the stick too! It's one of the very few stick foundations that works well for me. My review is here: th-cam.com/video/PaCM2GakHNo/w-d-xo.html The finishes are different with the stick being more natural (without setting) or demi-matte (with setting). The stick isn't as radiant as this foundation and it wears well for a stick foundation.

@@MsAngelcakes88 Hi! What do you set your foundations with? What's your skincare like? How long do you wait between sunscreen and your makeup? How long between primer and the foundation? Which specific primer did you use? Did you try it without primer or only with? So many factors go into what works and doesn't work for us (including our skin chemistry in general). That's why I always say that everyone is different and just because something works or doesn't work for me, doesn't mean it will be the same for someone else - even in the same environment.
