Hi there, I use the stock speed loader that came with it or my Tokyo Marui one. With the tm I leave the adapter off and block the front and back of the feed lips with my finger tips holding the mag and loader together tightly and feed straight down from the top. It took a bit of practice and eventually you should get it. The feed lips will also wear in to make it easier over time. I hope this helps my friend. If I can I will add a clip to my next video of how I do it!
The HK416A5 is my favorite ar within my collection. I have two of them. One is a gbb black and multi tan aeg. Both with geissele mlok rails and folding stock adapters. I’m thinking of buy another one to make an even shorter barrel, short stroke bolt version like an Mcx. When it comes to Heckler & Koch I just don’t compromise!
I have recently purchased myself a HK416a5 gbbr tan second hand which I'm looking forward to using, not quite sure the gen as all i know is it say 2016 on the box and maunal 😂

BRO!!! How do you fill those mags?!? Ive got six mags and cannot get past filling just the first one with my fingers one bb at a time. I have not been able to find a efficient way of loading these mags with any loader or adapter ive tried. Please help me out and tell me what you use for your mags?!? Im desperate. Im $900 in on this gun and havent fielded it once!
@middle age gamer, I bought a gdr416 from gbls USA and decided to swap the whole barrel and hopup system from my 416a5. It fits well with a little bit of modification and using the GDR416 original barrel nut. I just have one issue left to solve. I bought an upgraded hop up chamber that’s made of metal I just don’t know what would be the best tight bore inner barrel that work for it. Whats your recommendation on inner barrel for a vfc 416a5 hop up chamber? Also do you know how to completely disassemble the hop up chamber of the a5?
Congrats on the gbls das gdr416 m8, thats a 2k plus here in the UK. As for inner barrels you can look for either the tnt s+ or mapleleaf precision. I haven't disassembled mine yet to fit the tnt bucking but will get on that ASAP.
Forgot to ask how your preorder is going for the rattler? Swit said to me that it would be instock the week before last, then it was last week and well still waiting for it to come in lol.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk oh man, when I got the notification from swit it was sent and surprisingly delivered by the end of that week. The build quality is amazing. The weight and feel is so realistic! Releasing the bolt feels incredible! It’s compatible with vfc gas mags but it seems with only the grey ones. But, very interesting fact is that it’s upper receiver is compatible with the lower receiver of the vfc hk 416D and A5. I tested it out and it fit perfectly with the maple leaf buffer tube rail adapter. It’s so cool like having a rattler version of a Sig Spear Lt lol. Now it fits any vfc gas and the a5 right side bolt release works! You should definitely try it when you get yours and do a video on it! Also thanks for the info about the inner barrel.
Hi there thanks for the comment, the difference is simple the gen1 had issues with bolt bounce and hop accuracy so with the gen2 we got a new hop chamber made of aluminium and an aluminium guide hop arm from the front gas block to the hop chamber, they also included the anti bolt bounce buffer and an npass nozzle as standard. The gen3 is all the above but with a new firing pin system and depending on the gun you choose it could come with a steel bolt carrier. The benefit is if you have a gen2 you can use all gen3 upgrades except the firing pin as you would have to switch out the lower to a gen3 wich currently retail for 60 pounds uk
Hi thanks, I will ad that to my notes as from what I've been told by umarex here in Europe the 416 should come with an npass due to the various fps limits of each country. being a max 350 fps for the uk indoors and around 400 outdoors vfc usually since the gen2 fit an npass nozzle if yours dose not then possibly its one of the early Asia gen3 rifles?
The good thing is if it dose not have an npass then just fit a gen2 nozzle, from what I've been told the gen3 bolt carrier should fit it as its just the cam pin design and the fact some gen3 rifles have a steel bolt carrier like the vfc bcm. But like I said here in rainy old UK the gen3's should come fitted with it as if it has a fun switch and shoots over 370fps its classed as a real firearm so will be destroyed.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk My UK gen 3 version has an NPAS. Mine was shooting 275fps out of the box on 0.2g bbs. I have been able to get mine shooting just under 350 fps.
Awesome my friend, I was confident that the gen3 would have an npass, especially after the first batch as manufacturing ramps up for international orders with tight rules on fps. I live in the uk and here anything over 370fps with a fun switch is a firearm and well it dose not end well haha.
They made the gen 2 even for the previous version of the 416 (my preferred version), does "gen 2" mean it has the same upgrades as this one even if it's the older version?
Hi there, the gen2 is a name they give to an upgraded design, with the 416A5 they changed the hop chamber and guide hop rod, and also some internal updates like enhanced buffer and spring and added an npass. The gen3 is another update over the gen2 with new firing pin and slight chainge to the bolt carrier take down and depending on the model it can even be made of steel like the bcm m4. Generally they do pass all the upgrades vfc makes across there line. Hope that helps my friend.

Hi there, if you cant find the gen2 its OK to preorder the gen3 the main difference is the firing pin system but its still a steel part so should be good to go.
nice video, as an experienced ggbr user could you tell me which parts should be loctited, recently my buffer got loose and unscrewed inside the buffer tube while shooting, good thing is that i noticed that immediately, almost ended up breaking my buffer so i dont want something similar happening to other parts
Hi there, the only part I would locktight other than the buffer is the small hex screw that holds the fireing pin in, its located under the bolt release but only use the weak lock tight as you will need to unscrew at a later date if you need to replace it.
The opening of the video was filmed at halo mill just before Christmas when it was properly snowing so about 4c indoors as the site i go to has zero heating being an old mill, the rest was about 1c outdoors at the house. The 416a5 is a great rifle and combined with the npass and firing pin sear you can easly tune it to your situation, at worst just up the gas a little to nuprol 3 or 4 as the 416 will take it no problems in the cold
I would really enjoy if you could review real guns (ARs). I think you would do really well at rifle/gun reviews. I’m a US gun owner and have never once fired an airsoft gun lol
Hi there, thanks for the compliment 😊. Sadly, I live in the uk, so access to real firearms is heavily restricted here. I live in the city, so it makes things worse as we need authorisation from the local police force, which here they just say no unless I live in the middle of nowhere and yes there are other factors in there "NO" lol. For real, though Airsoft is a great training tool, great for gun safety, and manual of arms such as malfunction clearing, reloading under pressure, etc.. It would be great to return to the USA to put that to the test one day!

The fill value on the those gas mags are very delicate! Don’t push too hard when screwing in or out the valve
I don’t think they sell vfc gbbrs in the US so I’m stuck with importation fees. I’ve only seen the aeg version here.
