Wish I had discovered this channel sooner. You're going through all the airsoft replicas I have been curious about and helping me to decide which are worth getting. 😊
I have fond memories of the TM Electric MP7. The speed was slow but those bbs seemed to float incredibly straight and gave people a good tap to hit them out. It was very charming. The GBB version is an animal! Indoors it wins. So unfair. The mags are awful though. The baseplates can develop leaks like crazy and are a nuisance to seal. The main receiver goes super shiny with years of use, so it doesn't look particularly nice. The one I bought in 2012 looks terrible now. Green Gas usage blew out the back end too!
Brilliant video very informative, I am thinking of looking into getting a GBB and I have looked into these but I also love the MP5 what would you recommend the MP7 or the MP5k that I watched earlier. Also where did you purchase the MP5K from?
Nice video mate, great to see a UK TH-camr doing nice reviews. I am a returning older player so forgive my silly question, but don't Umarex make both an AEG and GBB version that are 1-1 size? just wondered your thoughts on those.
Hi, yes umarex dose make aeg and gbb versions but sadly the aeg is the only one thats correct size, there is an international rule regarding polymer body pdw's/smg gbb guns where they have to be dimensionally different so you can convert to fire any type of real amo. The differences are really only noticeable when side by side.
@@andrewsnelson ahh I see that's an interesting bit of info I didn't know! I have read the aeg version is pretty good but I think I will be grabbing a TM GBB for myself after this review. Thanks again bud got a follower here!
@@Wigipedia no problem, all mp7s are awsome but the gbb from tm for me seals the deal due to its snappy recoil and satisfying thump to the shoulder, great efficiency with the gas too. My only piece of advice is to use nuprol 1.0 for the first 500 rounds or so before going to green gas as it should help you have a long life with your mp7.
Hi there, the gen1 vfc mp7 was actually not full size and was not very good inside, regardless of trademarks, it was released in 2014 and It took vfc a few years to rectify their issues in 2019, tokyo marui hit the market with an amazing smg first time. Parts for the tm mp7 are widely available globally both from marui and other companies. Vfc has now released the v2, and I plan on doing a comparison video in the near future.
Hi there, I got mine from high pressure airsoft, the thread adapter is or should be in the small parts box inside along with a small tool to remove the flash hider.
Hi there, I wanted to ask if have had an issue with trigger. The hammer doesn’t engage when I pull it, wasn’t sure if I had a dodge mp7? I think they call it sleepy trigger or something. Thanks
When you load gas for the tm mag, does it always hiss a bit more than mags on newer guns? For a while now, it's hard for me to gauge if I loaded enough compared to mags for other guns.
Hi there, yes a genral hiss is normal with tm mags, the valves on tm have an anti over fill bit that let's excess air out and alert you when full with some liquid gas at the end. There's no issue there unless its spraying loads out continuly. Over the last few years they have gotten more quiet but as the mp7 has been around for a while now I think tm need an update. There are 3rd party valves that don't make a sound out there if your still worried. Hope that helps.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Hey thanks for the fast response. Yea that's super helpful. I recently bought 3 used mags, I thought they were faulty from the start and ordered 2 brand new ones...and I'm just starting to realise that the issue is the same across...fml but at least I have 6 mags ready to play. appreciate.
The main shop i use in the uk is Fire support, they have alot of parts if things go wrong, for umarex its landwarior, there is also defcon airsoft, I got my first mp7 from them.
started debating with myself about if i should get it or not. is it worth it? i can get it for about $480 with 3 extra mags as new. also, is it hard to maintain?
The tm mp7 is an amazing little pdw, yes its not full size, and unless it's next to a full size, you won't really realise it. Here in the UK, they retail for £289.99 new and magazines go for around £44.99 - £49.99 each. Right now, I'm waiting for the VFC version to arrive to compare the two, so that's a video to look forward to ASAP. Right now, VFC mp7 mags are impossible to get hold of before October. It's way easier to get the Tokyo Marui ones. As for maintenance, it's a gbbr, so it will always need a little more TLC. Just don't use thick grease on the bolt and only silicone oil for gbbrs and your golden.
Hi there spare parts are easy to find, www.firesupport.co.uk or even www.eagle6.co.uk both have a good stock of parts and what they don't have are willing to order. It is way more difficult to find parts for other brands at Tokyo Marui are backed by so many after market company's. Hope that helps.
40 bbs per mag?No thank you,how about GF76 350 rounds.Does it work? Yes, I don’t know how many rounds I have shot, good thing I made catch box from beer vendor boxes because I destroyed everything and Colt M1911 it’s not even funny anymore…I hope you have fun ❤

Great unboxing thanks
The only problem I have with my TM MP7 is my pistol grip is squeaky when you squeeze it. I don't know how to fix it.

I went for the MP7, you wont regret it, amazing.

The vfc mp7 gbb is significantly larger since it is 1.1 scale and fully licensed just look at them side by side and they are so much different.

How much is it and where did you get it?
Hi there, I got mine from www.highpressureairsoft.co.uk, or you can try airsoft direct here in the UK. It retails for £289.99 and about £40 per mag.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk ok thanks. I’ll give it a try.

High pressure airsoft is where I got this one, but you can get it from most good retailers.
How do I want to pronounce it?? How about properly?!
