Well that was a pretty pointless comparison for something that is advertised as an indoor racer, but honestly I'm just more impressed how well it goes outside. Also, Emax's recent micro-size props have been indestructible and pretty cheap too, not to mention they won't be touched within this super-tough frame, so I don't think that's a fair thing to list as a con, seems like you're just nitpicking. Actually the fact they don't include spares just shows that they have confidence in this thing's durability. And you didn't even mention Mobula's durability which was #1 concern many people had with it and in general with brushless whoop since the beginning. The M7 motors also has bushings where the TinyHawk has bearings. Bushings sound awful and do wear out. I've also had a couple of those cheap bushing motors fall apart on me randomly in my very limited brushless whoop experience. This is the first UAVfutures video I watched in a while and I'm pretty surprised they totally omitted indoor flying...
How would they go against each other indoors though? Which would be best for indoor flying? Would love to know that! Since it's already snowing here for me haha.
Exactly. Which is best, a Dodge Demon or a base Carrera 4S? Sure, on a drag strip, the Demon is a clear choice. But.... what about in autocross? The Demon would get destroyed. So neither is just plain "best," but each is dominant in a given realm. So, would the Mobulus still be the best indoor on 1S? Would it last longer than the Tiny on one battery? There's no grass and leaves indoors, so would it fair better in an indoor crash? Is it more controllable with 1S on a tight coarse? Though I haven't conducted these trials, my bet is the Tiny would be better. Im sure the Mobulus was designed and optimised for 2S, so it likely will compromise a fair share of performance in every aspect once dropped to 1S.
You couldn't fly indoor on 2s last time in the basement. The Mobula 7 is great in the park it is fast but again it has to be outside, so for the winter and indoor emax is the winner. If you get 4 batteries it means more fly time as well because you don't have to plug in 2 at the same time.
I use micro whoops almost exclusively inside, so the Emax gets the nod for stability and durability in that environment. Also, I don't need 2S indoors, and don't see how anybody can honestly disagree with that. Nice that we have the option though. You didn't really go into how the downward facing props create less tumbling air beneath the craft which adds to stability... which is especially useful i-n-d-o-o-r-s. LOL, exit soapbox! I'll stay with the Kingkong Maxi's outdoors. Great review nonetheless!
I agree 1s indoors is the way to go, but both of these craft can run 1s. didnt really notice any stability change with the props underneath but the 1 thing that I relaly did notice was the lack of power in the hawk outdoors.

Sorry but I can't agree or disagree with you about the Emax being the best for indoor flying because the M7 can do 1s AND adjust the camera angle, so even if the Emax flies better outside in 1s maybe the M7 can fly way better indoors because of how much you can do with the camera, so after watching this video I still don't know which one is the best indoor flyer.
it is not! but the beta 75x has more VTX power and you can install your own receiver for better range... It has a very sturdy frame but Price difference is significant. Mob 7 is 95-105 and Beta75x is 140+... Check out Nick Burnes review and compare of all of them... Mob 7 is really great bang for the buck if you want a 2s!
That really is an unfair comparison. Like comparing a big truck and a corvette. They have different purposes. I'd like to see which one would do better for a novice in the pit track for instance. The 2s would be awfully hard to handle inside if you aren't really good at throttle management. Conversely, if you want to do acrobatics with the emax it would be harder to arrest falls.

What about the rest of the hardware, like the ESCs etc? Could those handle 2S? Did you try connecting a couple of smaller batteries in series, stacked like on the Mobula 7? I know an F4 controller can be programmed to handle either no problem, and it's easily accessible over USB, so would you mind trying this, if you haven't already? That might give us a more fair comparison, because I think I'm in the same boat as Trev - I wish the Tiny Hawk was a 2S because it does look a lot nicer.
How often do we really break whoop props anyway. After hundreds of batteries in my brushed whoops, I think I’ve maybe broken 2 or 3. I completely agree the stock rates on the TinyHawk are way low.

Hi to this transmitter, FrSky ACCST Taranis Q X7 Transmitter what is the best receiver? For Mobula 7 V2 Compatible Frsky EU-LBT Receiver ( XM+ Receiver) Compatible Flysky AFHDS/ AFHDS-2A Receiver
Bloody good question. The motors are the same but slightly slower on the emax, so yeah, it will all depend on the esc, if they are the same size i cant see why it wouldnt work. You may want to change the camera angle if you get it to go faster tho, or you will be going the same speed on 2s as 1s but with more punch to get you out of ( or in too lol ) trouble.
I think the way you tested it was a bit unfair. I like to race ma woop inside the house and occasionally in the garden, I haven't got the space to go that fast or the skills. I would like to see a video of the way that they respond indorse on 1s and see if one gos to fast and is uncontrollable
STEW!!! how do you get such great dvr in parks with all of those trees and plants? Whenever i fly in a park like that i cant go behind 1 or 2 trees without video all but cutting out.
The tinyhawk is designed and sell it as an indoor flyer NOT outdoor. So you just went and compare exclusively on an outdoor environment and with the Mobula on 2s batteries. Pretty biased review. And you can’t go an say you don’t have a whoop track, as you have Stu’s basement. Try to be fair next time! Not for the product but for your name. Because for that matter place on that park the Mobula against any 2 inch quad with 3s battery and see which one is faster.
You talk about which one is better for the upcoming indoor winter season, then you compare the two by soaring them over trees outside in warm green environment? Really? Of course a couple of speed freaks are gonna pick the fastest one outside on a nice warm day. I want to know which one is more durable inside where I’m gonna be smashing it off walls, ceilings, floors, and such all winter long. I would like to have a groups of “INDOOR” racers all get the same quad to race each other with INSIDE! So which one of these do I recommend to that groups FPV of enthusiasts? Which one will hold up better to people smashing them around into obstacles? Thanks for doing these reviews, your effort is always appreciated. G’Day!
just look at how fast they rolled out the baby hawk products all summer, i bet they looked at ppls feedback and are already working on a 1-2s pro version. no doubt.
It would seem that everyone is wanting to know which one of these is the best. To me these seem to be different kinds of quads that are hard to compare with each other. The Mobula 7 looks way faster and the Tinyhawk looks easier to fly, at least indoors. Like you said they both have their good points. Which one is the best? Who knows? For me I think I'd be happy with either one so I'm going to get be both of them and be twice as happy.
I wish you’d have said something about durability. Flying indoors tends to have a lot more crashing. Breaking frames and such really ruins an evening of flying. Indoor flying doesn’t put as much of a premium on speed either.
I agree with your choice and opinions,I got a friend that likes the emax but once I seen your review of the mobula 7 i said that's the one I want lol tiny hawk I bet will have a v2 very soon lol always looking forward to your videos .
The throttle has to be quite high for it to get off the ground and stay there...anyone know how to change that? I feel like im losing my muscle memory of the bigger Hawk5
I had my phone sitting on my desk while watching this and bixby opened, figured out its from GT at 13:50 (apparently bixby thinks hes saying "ok google") :'D thats hilarious
I Already ordered a mobula 7. I just wasn't as impressed with tiny hawk as I was with the mobula 7. Now in door flying it would probably be better. As soon as you did a punch out with the mobula I was sold. It looked like a 5inch flying in the DVR footage. Also I fly in a area with a lot of tall grass and with the push props I would worry about taking off and landing too much. I used to use a landing pad but one day it took off into the wind lol.
I really like the look of the Tiny Hawk!!!!! They did a good job with this one!!! But they are both great little whoops!!!!!! Cool post my friend!!!!! And GREAT CHANNEL 👍😀👍 1s is all that is needed flying indoor!!
I think a fair representation of the 2 would be, if I already have a tinyhawk, should I upgrade to the mobula? Is it worth spending another $100 to upgrade... Great video, One of these will be my chrstmas present to myself if I can find anyone with one in stock... Just ordered my first Taranis QX7 and looking forward to trying out the sims and some indoor whoop action before crashing my way through a park with a 5inch...
I have not done heaps of flying., got into it big about 7 months ago but my stuff broke a few months into it and then winter so just left it alone watching FPV vids. getting back into it now... but over the time this is the biggest debate i have seen so far. (Have been watching FPV Vids for about 14months)
Stu, would be great if you could have a look at the Kingkong et 115 v2. I have one and it is pretty good (don't have these two so cannot compare). Love the channel and content - thanks for putting all together.
i'd like to see a complete noob testing these two, can you just grab somebody randomly in the park and get them to try them both, you guys kinda have the skills, but what are they like for fpv noobs. i'm still gonna recommend the mobula7 cause it can do outdoors or indoors so it has some added value for somebody going forward. but i thought the emax handled really really well, and i wonder if that is clincher for an fpv noob.
The fact is Stu that they are not that comparable because of the fact that it is 1s vs 2s.... you for one hand have a LOT of experience flying and obviously would prefer more speed hence you have been hiped with the Mob 7 for days now... I wasn't expecting you where going to say many positive things about the tiny hawk after fyling Mob7 so many times and would definitely be a bit biased about it... in my experience I LOVE the tiny hawk it has decent speed and AMAZING durability (way more than mob 7)... I do want to get the Mob 7 by December but trying to compare this two is just not fair imo, Tiny hawk is a bit more for beginners who want to get into flying (as you usually say) and mob 7 is when you already have experience controlling your 1s and want to step up to more punch and speed. Tiny Hawk imo is more for indoors than the Mob 7 but they both work and they have DIFFERENT uses and markets IMO
I think they're actually going to like what you have to say to Emax, reason being you're a big influence in this community, lots of people watch your Channel. And it gives Emax something to strive for. Maybe they'll come out with a 2s + 1s version like the Mobula 7, a lot of people are I'm afraid to tell the truth. If we don't have those that do then things will stay at a stalemate. Great review Stewart & GT 🙏

For Mobula 7 V2
Compatible Frsky EU-LBT Receiver ( XM+ Receiver)
Compatible Flysky AFHDS/ AFHDS-2A Receiver
TYVM for this vid. I've been considering both and was wondering which of these might be best. Excellent comparison.
what will happen if we tried 2s connection way like in Mobula7?
Picked up the Mobula 7 Can u review the new gt8
STEW!!! how do you get such great dvr in parks with all of those trees and plants? Whenever i fly in a park like that i cant go behind 1 or 2 trees without video all but cutting out.
The tinyhawk is designed and sell it as an indoor flyer NOT outdoor.
So you just went and compare exclusively on an outdoor environment and with the Mobula on 2s batteries. Pretty biased review. And you can’t go an say you don’t have a whoop track, as you have Stu’s basement. Try to be fair next time! Not for the product but for your name.
Because for that matter place on that park the Mobula against any 2 inch quad with 3s battery and see which one is faster.
i agree... You should've shown some indoor flying
FFRC has put on the Tinyhawk some others props... (to make it to turtle mode)
PauL TerL I was trying to think of that same video. Those other props did great on the tiny hawk.
Racerstar 1.5" 4-blade props press fit.
@@cccagley5276 i hope to see stew reply to this......stew! lol
Trevs nose hair is outta control😂🤣
I want the tiny hawk but it doesn’t come with flysky (not gonna buy a seperate flysky receiver)
G’Day!
lol "I gotta big one that a lot of people wanna see!" .... had me chuckling! at 0:06
Compare the Mobula7 and the BetaFPV 75x !
In my Taranis QX7 I have D8 and D16. Is the €uro version????????
Those two will bind??????
Danke STU!!!
You can actually adjust the camera angle, according to kabab fpv, check his video
just look at how fast they rolled out the baby hawk products all summer, i bet they looked at ppls feedback and are already working on a 1-2s pro version. no doubt.
Thanks for the comparison, Stu!!! Don’t worry about giving info to folks who didn’t ask for it, and comment anyways!!! Great info as always!! 👍🏼😎
Stew !!! G’day from Texas ....I want your opinion on the LDDARC et115 3s whoop or maybe a head 2 head against the “M7”
Agreed i said the same thing. emax did it with the baby hawk r too with the going from 2in to 2.5in and then 3in. I'm going to wait on the v2.
The throttle has to be quite high for it to get off the ground and stay there...anyone know how to change that? I feel like im losing my muscle memory of the bigger Hawk5
I got to get a Mobula 7 now. Awesome flying Stew...
Thanks for comparing these two drones! I was thinking that the mobula was the one to get. But you just confirmed it. Thanks for the great videos!
I had my phone sitting on my desk while watching this and bixby opened, figured out its from GT at 13:50 (apparently bixby thinks hes saying "ok google") :'D thats hilarious
Not sure if the emax has a proper 25mw vtx, heaps more breakup compared to the mobula
Apples to oranges. And you will never damage a prop on the TinyHawk.
I really like the look of the Tiny Hawk!!!!! They did a good job with this one!!! But they are both great little whoops!!!!!! Cool post my friend!!!!! And
GREAT CHANNEL
👍😀👍
1s is all that is needed flying indoor!!
I love stu!!! I’ve wanted this for so long! Ur the best this deserves a like
Stu can you please review the geelang amg65mm please. Can't find any reviews on it n I've got it coming. Thanks bro cool guy.
Thank u... I am on the balance beam with these two micros...
I have not done heaps of flying., got into it big about 7 months ago but my stuff broke a few months into it and then winter so just left it alone watching FPV vids. getting back into it now... but over the time this is the biggest debate i have seen so far. (Have been watching FPV Vids for about 14months)
The mobula is a great tiny quad but I prefer my Tiny hawk for indoor winter flying for sure. Great video
Thank you so much for all your efforts, I value your opinions.
Ill wait for the tinyhawk v2 2s 😁
See how that opening for the lens is oval shaped? definitely able to increase camera angle 🛠 just need an imagination.
How does the mobula 7 fly on 1s? Like if I flew it in my house. Like to see some dvr of that. Keep up the great work Stu your great!
Can you make een review off Diatone 2019 GT R239, R249, R249+ or R349 - FC MAMBA F405 mini 😍
Why don’t you try it on 2s?????
Is TinyHawk really so much better than Snapper7?
And yes I have the Mobula7. Thanks for the information on the two.
