@@LaurenBateman Ok. And check the song Calm After The Storm by Common Linnets. Fantastic song and performance. They are from the Netherlands. Could be from Naishville as well. 😉🎸👋
Great lesson on one of Dolly's most well-known songs. When I was a Top 40 radio disc jockey in the 70s, this song shot up high on the charts. I can't wait to get the finger picking pattern down!
My wife really loves this song, I'll have to put some time in so I can play it to her. And for some one working above their pay grade I'd say you get away with it, must be the 'Lauren spice'.
Thank you self taught leading worship', strumming well finger-picking is brand new! It's being forced upon me LOL just trying to make those fingers work right.
Hey, thank you for these lessons. I'm an intermediate electric player, and I haven't really done much picking. I find your lessons easy to grasp, especially how you outline the thumb movements and finger numbers. Your voice is in my head now "Thumb one, thumb twoooo". Great work!

That's a really pretty lick thanks for sharing...Great voice....
You're welcome Mark and thank you very much.
Well done! Thank you...
You're welcome
You are are amazing. I really like your flying fingers. That song really looks complicated. 😳
It is!
That intro is definitely NOT easy. Because of the speed it’s played at, it’s a very advanced piece for only a couple of measures.

Oh, I don't think I've ever heard of that. We'll have to check it out.

It's a great song for certain. That intro though. Tough as nails.
Damn you are rocking out hard on this one.
Thank you. It's a fun song.
I've tried and tried with fingerpicking, but I just don't seem to have the coordination.
It takes a lot of practice and this is NOT and easy song by any means.
Yay! Thank you Ms. Lauren! I'm way less afraid of that intro now! Can't wait to practice!
Yeah, go slow and focus on the technique. Don't worry about getting it up to full speed right away.
Thank you Lauren.. Can I request the song 'At my worst "and "more than words " please.. Thank you very much
Not sure I know at my worst but more than words is a great song.

Ha ha. Thanks Sean. I'm not a master guitar player, but I have fun with what I can do.
I didn't know this song...but it's great for practicing fingering...thanks great Lauren
100%
Excellent! Sounds great.😀
Thanks Matt. Though song for sure.
That was great Lauren I have a feeling my fingers are going to be tired for a while that’s a lot of finger picking loved it though
You might get a callus on your thumb. I know when I first started finger picking I got a really bad blister on my thumb.
Old dog new tricks... I got to go slow... But it's good stuff!
You can do it! Just keep practicing and enjoy.
