great video! I understand the difference between each brush now. but how do you determine the size of the brush you use? I noticed you took gigantic sections with that tiny boar bristle brush
I go to a salon and they never rough dry my hair first. They always go in with a huge paddle brush and a blow dryer on my soaking wet hair. That's there way of doing a blow out and my hair usually comes out silky smooth.
Hi there. My place does rough dry. I think it's a matter of preference. Wet hair is at it's most vulnerable so I guess that's why some do it. I do it myself but I'm intermediate. Not pro.

Because the front hair dries fast and you want to style it before it dries differently than you would like it to, and because the client sees the front in the mirror and feels relaxed and satisfied when it is styled first, trusting you will do the same job for the back of the hair.
