It wasn’t designed to do this but if you don’t want the screen to float you can lower it to rest on the keyboard by pushing the screen forward while it’s still tilted open. This makes it a little less top heavy and easier to balance on your lap. Seems to work best with 12.9” version.
Im so excited and inpatient. There’s still 3 weeks to go to get my iPad Pro. 2 weeks to get my keyboard and my Apple Pencil. Already got my dbrand skin and screen paper like protector.

Nice video and tips. I personally don’t have the issue with the glare because I invested in the Paperlike screen protector which has an anti glare feature. Not necessary to get the expensive Paperlike, there are many other similar alternatives.

The shortcut is so good that I am using my ipad more than my laptop.
One thing to note is that this work with any keyboard. No need to pay extra for the expensive magic key. Also, your may also need to practise touch typing to fully use the small case keyboard productively.

The tap to click tip was awesome, I rather not click my trackpad too much and this saves it from getting clicked every few mins. Also just checked my typing speed with this keyboard and 62 WPM is not bad at all, so loving my purchase so far. Thanks for this video man.

I don’t know if everyone knows this but these tips also work for regular iPad with the old magic keyboard you could get for a Mac computer. My 10 year old magic keyboard I got for a Mac Mini works great with my iPad (7th Gen) and it also worked for my iPad2 I was using years ago. I’m also using my old Magic Mouse too. So these tips and tricks aren’t exclusive to the iPad Pro but some might not work. I keep searching for these videos to try new things. Really happy about this, it’s really cool.

You can just take the ipad and place it with bottom wedged on the keyboard edge and the top just leaning on the other part. It works, its stable. The one you used works too but you have to stick your phone between it to prevent that slide effect.

A solution to sketching whilst having the magic keyboard attached:
-turn the magic keyboard upside down
-slide your phone in the gap that appears between the screen and the keyboard
-turn your phone horizontally
The screen will stay in place regardless of pressure. More importantly no keyboard keys will be activated in this setup. Hope this helps

Hello.Magic keyboard i ordered but i have to wait for another three weeks my question like this when i connect my mouse to tablet cursor walks on tablet without problems but i can no longer use virtual keyboard if i want to reply message i have no keyboard until i turn it off mouse 🤔

Just one little note, when you use you're ipad as a notebook with the magic keyboard, try to put there a smartphone, it'll make it by far better! I've using my previous phone for that, and IT'S SUPER!

Excellent Tips video. Chock-a-block with stuff however, a polite suggestion, if you slowed down a bit I wouldn’t have to pause and restart the video so many times because I need to write the great Tip down. Realise this may be so that you can keep the video as short as possible, but a slower version (for oldies?) would have saved me from ringing he Fire Brigade here in Australia to put out the fire that started at the tip of my pen as I tried to record all the fabulous tips. Love it. Well done. So much good info.

Does the magic keyboard support right click option in your trading app? Or do you know how to use right click on a Bluetooth mouse. Either of those would help. I recently set up a Bluetooth mouse and I can’t get the right click button to do the right click function. I would buy the magic keyboard if it does do it but if you know how to do it with the mouse it would be my first option

Mine arrived yesterday after a month delay. It’s nice but I’m bummed that right out of the box, the E, F, V, & B keys have a giant slash across them that is pretty visible in a well-lit room. Production issue I guess. I want to get it replaced but the Stores in my area are still closed because of COVID & it’ll probably be another month for a replacement to arrive. I’ve also read online that people have received theirs with scratches all over the USB port on the side. It’s like these Magic Keyboards seem to all arrive with cosmetic issues.
I got an 11” to go with my 2020 pro, I wasn’t sure about the price, but from the moment I opened it I knew I’d made the correct decision.
