KARA's original members are Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, and Seunghee (2007, Break It). Seunghee left, then they added Hara and Jiyoung and made a comeback with Rock U (2008). In 2014, Nicole and Jiyoung left, and then Youngji was added to the group. KARA comeback with Mamma Mia (2014).
Mister is their most famous song.. it's accidentally becomes popular more than their title track 'wanna' simply because of the dance & catchy lyrics..😅

In fact, although they were on hiatus, the group never disbanded. The company did not sign contracts with Nicole and Kang Jiyoung in 2013 ... 😡 They've had a very difficult time, but it's nice to see them together. I love their friendship ❤
Omg one of my favourite idol GODDESS park gyuri of kara...she was definetly the comedic genius in the group...she created this goddess performa, and tell people confidently how pretty she is...she was often invited in variety shows because of it...people used to laugh out loud & often shocked by her witty bold self absorbed remarks...you should watch in your own time youtube "Goddess park gyuri" compilation...hilarious
Break it was a damn good debut thay flopped really bad up to the point the group could have disbanded. Seunghee the main vocalist left the group to pursue her studies (well the parents were strict). Gyuri the other main vocalist is the one who stood out to you. She is also the visual of the group (even though non fans consider Hara the visual). Here is the lineup and positions for debut ot4 Gyuri: main/lead vocal , visual , center Nicole: main dancer , lead vocal , rapper , maknae Seunghee: main vocal (Mariah Carey of kpop) Seungyeon: vocalist Rock U is considered their re-debut with new members Jiyoung and Hara. This lineup is by far their most popular. And yes you got that taste for liking goddess Gyuri(my ultimate bias) This song is really not for me but its fun at times. Gyuri got the ugliest hairstyles at that time so its understandable not being able to recognise this queen. Pretty girl was their first quite popular song. It was a step towards success. Now the lineup/new positions for ot5 Gyuri: main/lead vocal , visual Seungyeon: lead/main vocal Nicole: lead vocal , main dancer , main rapper Hara: lead dancer , vocalist , rapper , visual Jiyoung: lead vocal , lead dancer , lead rapper , giant maknae Honey was huge! Everyone knew the dipping dance lmao. Finally we got the members with pretty hairstyles and normal clothing. If im not wrong they got their 1st win with this song. We got Nicole rapper after a while. In case u havent noticed most of her raps are in English because she is from the USA and at that time it was like a flex ig to have someone sing/rap in English. Seungyeon also started getting lines slowly. She was just a vocalist during debut but after honey she lowkey became the lead vocalist (and later on the main vocalist alongside Gyuri). Nicole though still had a key role in the group carrying both vocals, rap and dance. Wanna is my favourite KARA korean release. Its just so good!! Very addictive. Nicole with short hair also started becoming a thing. Most people remember her with that haircut honestly. Hara's visual era also started standing out more and more. Gyuri then became known by her persona aka goddess and Hara the visual. So even on sites Gyuri is no longer stated as a visual which is unfair and sad. Btw most high notes during ot5 are Gyuri with Nicole and on their early ot5 days and on their later ot5 its Seungyeon with Gyuri. Lupin is THAT SHIT. THE QUEENS WERE HERE TO DEVOUR. During the live stages Nicole , Seungyeon and Gyuri(she got a wig tho) had a short hair cut. Also Seungyeon sadly tripped during one of the stages (her fall was quite harsh) but managed to stand up right away making her go viral for her professionalism. During Lupin Jiyoung and Seungyeon started having even more lines. Gyuri also did the iconic high note and Nicole the english rap intro. (That keeps changing according to the year) We're with you is just a cheering song for some kind of football league or sth that was going during at that time. I've listened to it less than 3 times even tho i love Kara lol. Nonetheless the chorus is very good!! And I just noticed that Gyuri is shining in this mv with the straight hair. Jumping is gorgeous. Gyuri blonde era is awesome. The vocals are amazing and if im not wrong its one of the songs that were popular in Japan. Yes Gyuri is indeed the oldest (blonde one) even tho during their debut she looked very young. STEP is their most popular internationally song. In Japan it has to be Mister that served as a b-side to Honey. However Mister was that popular that they ended up promoting as a lead single in both countries (Japan and Korea). Pandora is so rich (in visuals , vocals and dance). Also have to agree that Gyuri looked extremely pretty in this mv. Jiyoung's blue hair was also very iconic!! I remember many people lked her during this period. The rap part was amazing too. Jiyoung/Hara classic duo with Nicole main rapper is a thing~~ Seungyeon's finally became a main vocalist and at this point we could tell Jiyoung was a lead vocalist alongside Nicole. The high notes are Gyuri & Seungyeon in this song! Runaway.. I haven't watched the mv before. Im disappointed on myself. I think the mv might be from their drama. Many other idols had participated and could have made it into the lineup such as Somin of KARD/April/Puretty and Chaekyung of Puretty/April. Sadly this show left a scar on everyone because of the contestants unalived herself as she didnt win and gave up on her dream. Well but as I said Youngji became the new member of KARA. So now here are the positions for the second ot4 lineup. However the girls decided to gather up for their 15th anniversary and take pictures together. Nicole and Jiyoung came back for the anniversary and then Seungyeon and Gyuri were also there. Leader Gyuri also invited Youngji the new member of the group to join them. That's how they reformed. Now the new positions of ot5 (without Hara but with Youngji) Gyuri - Leader , Main vocalist , Visual Seungyeon - Main vocalist Nicole - Main dancer , main rapper , lead vocalist Jiyoung - Lead rapper , lead dancer , lead vocalist , visual Youngji - Lead rapper , lead dancer , vocalist During this period Nicole was doing solo activities , Gyuri and Seungyeon were doing some acting here. Jiyoung went in Japan and became a popular actress. Youngji was doing gigs here and there in variety shows in the country. Gyuri was extremely pretty in this music video with the hime cut. Also tmi but as she was waiting for the rest of the members to film their scenes she got drunk and had to film her scenes while being tipsy lol (I mean it's their fault cause they gave her wine). KARA is the 1st and only group to have a 1st win in music shows for 3 decades. Both the 00s , the 10s and 20s. No other group has ever achieved that!! The 6th mic in When I move is for Hara indeed.
KARA means sweet melody. B side songs are great too. They were a band that made great songs that were both sweet and powerful. KARA was also a very popular group in Japan. They made great albums.
Actually it's Sulli past away first then when Hara extremely heart break on live stream on instagram for her reaction to Sulli 😭 even in the live stream Hara said :”she will be live life with Sulli's part together forever”❤❤， then after literally one month or less ,Hara sadly did the same with Sulli …suicided too....😢😢😢
