My granddaughter (16) is going to visit Costa Rica for 3 weeks in July ( organized trip), and I would like to prepare her for the great adventure...
Perfect list! It may sound like a lot, but, unless you already know the area, it is better to have the things you need in case you don't find a pulperia (convenience store) where you go. Jeff, great video!

I am confused with how many shoes to bring so you think one hiking shoes and flip flop for beach are fine? Should I bring more shoes
Seen multiple people's lists including a lock, but no one says what kind of lock and for what?
I carry a padlock with me for all types of travel, no matter where I am in the world. It provides added security by locking up my luggage and comes in handy when putting my belongings in a locker storage.
