It's not a ship set, but a single part, but I think it's pretty rare, even if it's kinda recente. It's the Rare Legend figure head, in which you needed to find and inspect some specific easter eggs across the map until a certain day to get it. Not everybody knew about this event, and most of the people I show this figurehead do have it. It's one of my proudest ship itens I have, maybe alongside de Legendary figurehead of courage and the Silver Blade set.

I know I am one year late to this but if you ever need your hunters call rep up fast, I would sell siren gems found from shrines and also buy the letters of recommendation, breath of the seas can also be sold at hunters call - making it 1000 times easier then what it used to be to rank up
My ship set is the jet black hunter hull with the shark figurehead and the royal blue sail (with blue castaway cannons and hunter capstan/wheel). It's technically a "mutt", but it looks cool and I picked the colors intentionally to be a bit harder to see at night.
Didn’t you say that to be a ship set it needed to have a hull, sails and a figurehead? Because the Wandering Reaper set that you included doesn’t have an associated figurehead. Other than that great video! Got everything here but the Glorious Sea Dog set as I’m a ship cosmetic collector. Would be surprised if the Legendary ship set would be among the rarest there if you had included the cannons. As that commendation is so tedious I bet most people haven’t done it.
Bruh, I spent all my doubloons on the clothing set and equipment for the wailing barnacle at the time, then saving up for the ship set, only got the cannons before having to start university for the year. Kicking myself for 3 years.

The golden legend stuff actually placed sixth. Most likely cause I asked for people who had been playing for a long time and had many rare ship sets. Somebody else said the same thing and I think it is actually rarer than the triumphant sea dog and wandering reaper though.
I regret not getting the Wailing Barnacle ship. I only bothered to get the figurehead cuz I was playing a lot of Red Dead at the time. At least I have the Forsaken Ashes ship.
It could be purchased from duke during the cursed sails event. Sadly it can’t be purchased anymore but you can buy a different colored version on the black market

I have wondering reaper set, got all 3 sails and glow glitch does not work anymore Also never had a figurehead it really sucks it didn't come with one, I usually pair it with mercenary figurehead Funny how many people missed what had to be classified as a set even though it was mentioned in first 30 secconds.
Full obsidian ship set Beside the golden banana I'd say is the rarest I have all of these sets including the second rarest sails in the game which are the Notorious Arena Leauge Sails which roughly only 20 accounts have.
@@matthewzigrang I have the Halo ship set and to be fair, they only had it out for E3 which lasted about 4 days. So whoever didn't know about the ship set had to wait till certain streamers dropped codes or whatever on twitch. So yeah, it's somewhat rare despite all the new players (who bought the game during E3) who came in because there was only a limited time window to get it! However, who knows! Sea Of Thieves might drop the ship set again to celebrate the launch of Halo Infinite since both games are xbox exclusive!

No, it was the Hungering one figurehead. This isn’t a ship set though. This isn’t about individual parts but about sets.

The rarest ship set is the one you unlock from SoT insiders. It takes over a year of actively playing to get it
