My Captain At 4:08 you said that she was gone du do quests or some crap, But what about the That block dot on her cheek? And could there be a relation to the the masked lady?
I’m still hoping we can get the skeletal curse and appear like cursed captains. I want to drift about in a rowboat like a fallen castaway. Then upon being recovered regale my saviors with tales while helping them.

I didn't realise that the old female mysterious stranger had a dimple right above her mouth, just like a certain female masked stranger that has appeared. She is probably Wanda, but it is fun to think about
@@embercell Yeah, but a lot of the community has come to a consensus that the masked stranger is Wanda and Captain Falcore has done some videos on it too

I have a Big feeling when or if they ever going to give the ability so explore the sea of the damed there going to be a large glowing white fin following us
Falcore watching this video made me kinda realize something. The ancients lived side by side with the merfolks. They were as well the "master of curses" so if you think about it the ancients could have just turned into a bunch of different curses around the sea of thieves such as the merfolk. So that could explain why they are not in the sea of thieves today. It's all because they are the ones that are bringing us back to our ships or the ones that are in slumber waiting to kill us when the time is right for the bad merfolk to come out
When it comes to the ancients I’d love it if a crew of ancients were still alive but all captured by skeletons and then a lone wounded ancient gives you a tall tale explaining the ancients back story of maybe they were slaughtered by evil pirates who killed the pirate lord. Then maybe have you go rescue the ancient’s home or something cool like that. As for #6 I can agree to that after playing for over a year now 😂 they really need to increase the spawn count or something
ITS YA BOY NARBO yeah but if I’ve been playing for over a years time, I should have at least seen it once if not killed it. Same with the chest of wonderus secrets. I should have seen it once at the very least.

So for the revenants, I think the pirate emporium guy in the Sea Dog tavern is a revenant. His one eye glows like the mysterious stranger, but the other one in under the eye patch.
Be cool if the ancients just began to appear here and there and would become the first sorta human neutral roaming npcs and began to restart their civilisation, that is if they’re even still alive.
Liked and subscribed because I genuinely ill joy lore videos and Sea of thieves as well. But you have a good voice for this kinda stuff. Oh and #6 on this list was my favorite!
The female mysterious stranger has a freckle in the same place as the lady with the mask and Reaper's hideout. She also has an eyepatch and the mask has some cracks next to the eye. The mask blocks her eyes from view though but I'm speculating that the female mysterious stranger is the masked woman. (I forgot what she is actually called)
Great video cap'n! People wouldn't normally think of the skeletons, Merfolk, and Revenants being cursed. I actually never gave much thought to that last one. I figured the Mysterious Stranger had a bad eye infection.
Some skeleton lords are considered from the ancients, flame's heart skull is called an ancient skull. Which makes a lot of sense. since they've been cursed for a long time.
Falcore. What about doing a video of all the lore up to now. Fate of Wanda, mysterious stranger, stitcher Jim etc and how all these characters stories have intertwined so far.
So, Im only on the first curse so far, but you dont think that possibly, for a future tall tale, something might happen and we end up becoming Skeletons for a bit, similar to that thing in the first PotC movie?
The Shores of Gold is definitely not the only place in the game that has ruins left by the Ancients. They’re littered all over, especially in the Ancient Isles.
2:54 Love the video as always Falcore, but I don't think they are his crew. Not all of them, at least. I just read Tales from the Sea of Thieves and the Athena's Fortune novel, and in the novel his crew consisted of himself, Mercia, Rathbone, and Shan. I suppose he could have sailed with other people later on once Rathbone broke the crew apart, but I know for sure that the three with the instruments are (from left to right) Diving Bel, Nine-Cat Nura, and Half-a-Stew Jean. There's a picture of them in the Tales book. Again, it's entirely possible they sailed with Ramsey later in his life, but I haven't seen anything to confirm that. I have no idea about Blind Bob and the rest though.
Revenants ? When you say they are mentioned in the novel do you mean Athena's Fortune ? I can't remember anything abut them in that book :O ! I tried to look for the keyword revenant in the ebook but didn't find anything. Are they referenced differently ?
I just had a thought but at if the masked person is a skeleton lord .It would make sense considering she doesn't talk or she would give herself away and how she knows so much and why she's looking for dark relics.
I have a theory about the Murfolk Maybe the old mother kraken (I think that’s the name) wiped some many of them out that they had to evolve so they could reproduce more or less by inflicting other people with curses when in their presence or bitten
I have a joke for you. What do you call a cow with no legs. Ground beeef. What do you call a cow with three legs. Lean. And what do you call a cow with two legs. JOE MAMAAAAAA
What about the golden curse, the order of souls (blood) curse, the ashen curse and others. Oof there are no others. But as a comment, does Flameheart created the ashen curse to make his ashen lords? And if Sitcher Jim got that curse at the end of Heart of Fire, will we see him as an ashen lord?
The Pirate Lord's name is Ramsey Singh. Not sure where you got that it was not revealed. It was in the Shores of Gold Tall Tale Book, Page 2, before it was updated to Pirate Lord 😉
I think it would be cool if they added the evil merfolk that tricks you instead of bringing you to your ship they try and drag you down into the depths of the ocean and drown you
Am I the only one who thinks that it may be very possible that the female mysterious stranger is the Masked Stranger at Reapers hideout? Beauty mark, both strangers, seemingly switching from place to place, quiet.. Maybe not, but it does raise a new candidate
Actually Falcore, it wasn't the throne that cursed Rathbone. The novel specifically notes that the arm he ran through a pile of gold was the first to turn, therefore the gold itself was cursed, as the Pirate Lord alludes to at the end of the Tall Tale. Had it been the throne, wouldn't you think Rathbone's ass would have turned first?
I really want the curse of the wailing barnacle, not quite a mermaid curse, but simply coral and seaweed on their body kinda of similar to the bad guys from POTC
Mysterious Stranger is a possessed body. Maybe the ghosts possessed their own bodies, ? Regardless, they have a purpose and I'd like to learn more of this fictional lore
Where did you get the idea that Rathbone was cursed by the throne he sat in? It doesn’t say that anywhere in Athena’s Fortune. He got the gold curse the same way that the rest of the gold hoarders did, by handling the cursed gold from that vault. Except that he died first when he was sunk by Slate.
The way it's written in the book kinda let's you believe that maybe the throne was the trigger. But I would assume it's the gold in general that is cursed and the throne scene is just a nice way to hint at what is happening to Rathbone. Also about that scene... he was not staching his gold there, he was lured there and discovered the cursed gold and then the curse spread quite quickly on him right ?
Is every chest we get in Sea of Thieves a chest containing a curse, so we have to sell them to the Gold Hoarders (because Gold Hoarders are already cursed), and that's why we can't open the chests?
Yes. Well, sort of, it’s cursed and we can’t open in but the gold hoarders can because rathbone stole all the keys from Ramsey and is the gold hoarder king.
I’m not even joking I saw a shrouded ghost and clipped it, but when I go to see the clip it’s literally gone. It’s like Rare doesn’t want us to know it’s real
