Thank you CMDR for showcasing the Python in this way. It's a great frame that I use for many jobs (other than combat) and am intrigued by your your build. Not a ship I would have considered as an explorer, but your review has me rethinking that.... o7
I have min-maxed my Krait Phantom to 73 Ly jump range. Its paper-thin hull and shields won't even protect against a wet fart, but it's an excellent neutron jumper.
I have a very similar Python build. But mine has only 64 tons of cargo space. 2 AFMU`s and 5 class 1 Missle launchers (lightweight grade 5). If i get ganked when returning from the black at least i go down shooting back. 🤪😇😉👍
Does this build not build out in the same way it had back when you made this video? Cause i have less total modules--& therefore less mass, in comparison to the one being discussed. All the core modules are either equally, or even more engineered than the Coilis build you have listed in your video description has listed itself. And it won't let me get a jump range span higher than around mid 40s LYS. So I'm thinking that something has changed with how the engineering steps & stats are not applied in the same resulting capacities you claim they are. Help?!
Got Guardian Booster? Basic bulkheads? Pre-engineered V1 FSD? 80% mass decrease on Sensors? This build is legit - I've made it twice for two of my accounts, works every time, something must be off, different in yours.

For exploration, the mk II doesn't look so hot just yet. All they're saying about it is pvp this and pvp that.
