Both London and Mumbai are not good when it comes to sewage management, but London is slightly better compare to Mumbai. Well, British Developed Calcutta : KOLKATA which still has 50% British Architecture, even As 2nd Capital of the Empire including Tram, walkway, Victorian Hallway, Alley, Cafes
but Not so well BOMBAY : MUMBAI..
Coz They didn't intended to make that much until later in 19th century Realizes that BOMBAY Became crucial after SUEZ CANAL was opened, Oil Discovery, WWI, Which made British Realize
That Calcutta is of Far off on the other side with Lesser Value in 1920 coz Of Massive Famine, Genocide to them.. Meanwhile, BOMBAY can Still Act as FINANCIAL HUB, Across whole world as it is Till date.
    .
So only, calcutta as capital shifted to Delhi by 1920 to Avoid Protest, Revolution, Loss of Jute sector, Famine, Genocide, Debauchery. 😂!!!

Are you aware about the number of people were that were killed when partition of India too place in 1947 or how many innocent soldiers from India and other colonies fought for Britain in the 1st and 2nd World Wars and were brutally killed for no reason. How many innocent men, women, seniors and children died in the great Famine of 1943 because of the World's war hero Mr. Winston Churchill because he thought its better to give all the food and supplies grown in India to the soldiers in 2nd world war instead of people of this country. And also, how can we forget the approximate amount of wealth that the British looted from India which is not less than 45 Trillion USD. These are just few examples I have shared. It’s amazing that when the British left India they went backwards 200 years. Those people are so ungrateful for what the British did for them.

Mumbai was not designed to be the next London - Calcutta (now Kolkata) was actually designed to be the next London! Even the architecture is similar in old parts of Calcutta and central London! Are you delusional? Calcutta was the capital of British India, Calcutta was the second most important city in the entire British empire after London!
