Could you tell me if your son is now talking or communicating functionally? Other than basic daily needs like using sentences to talk or express ? And if he has stopped echolalia or if it’s reduced ? And after how many years of therapy did your son learn to communicate ?
He can only use need based words sometimes phrases

Work on his pointing and imitation. Gross motor imitation, move on to fine motor and vocal imitation. As mentioned in the video animal sounds are a good way to start vocal imitation , kids find it fascinating. Speak slowly and with few meaningful words that he can understand.

Mam viraj kya easily communicate kar pata hai aap se..and viraj pretend play karta hai kya..like wo mummy ya papa ya shopkeeper and aap baby..kya pretend play acha hai
Pretend play vo karleta hai ab , apni sister ke sath bahut bar play b initiate krta hai last 6 months se, pretend play emotional and language development mein help karta hai. Viraj apni needs easily communicate kar sakta hai ab

Ye depend karta hai kitni practise horahi hai and bacha kitna adapt karraha hai need base language sabse pehle develop hoti hai jahan bacha one word or two to five words ka sentence form karke need bata sakta hai uske bad slowly and gradually language develop hone lagti hai

Hi it takes time dear , sometimes it happens in a day and sometimes it takes months to build vocabulary. Patience and consistency will help

Same age for my son. He randomly may say the right word but no language at all. He keeps pulling our hand what he wants but won’t say it.

@@harpreetrait3260 haanth pull karne per koi item bilkul mat do.. basic need se start karo like water or any other favourite item.. just show them from distance and ask them what do you want .. pehle aap bolo water then bachcha will copy it do it on repeated basis pehle bachcha repeat karega to dedo then practice se might be wo initials bolo to bhi dedo then gradually he will start saying whole word.. but remember jab bachcha kisi bhi form me bole tabhi do.. agar bachcha finger point nahi karta hai to waha se bhi start kar sakte hai..

@@harpreetrait3260 Don’t let him run away.. start with pointing which is first step of expressive language, for that you hold the item and ask some to hold his hand from back aur bachche ki finger nikal kar point karaye, then give him desired item, make it a regular practice gradually he will start pointing independently parallelly work on vocalisations doesn’t matter agar bachcha tuta futa bhi bolta hai agar water ka ’wa’ bhi bolta hai to bhi dedo but first start with finger pointing.
Yeh autism kya hai life kitna taklif hogaya hai baccho ka😢
