Wood Elf Unboxing. Part 7 in an Oldhammer army vlog series

Hi everyone! So I should probably have done this video earlier on, before I started uploading showcase videos. But hey ho, I still wanted to get some stuff out there and I'm doing a kind of unboxing after hours with the 'to-be-completed' now.
My intention with the Wood Elves is to try and build a mostly metal - folks usually make the monsters out of resin and I'm alright with that. And I love the oldhammer aesthetic. So, between the companies I like, I think I can get a cool army together.
So you'll be seeing buy a lot more of Oakbound Studio's models and also a lot more of the early '90s Grenadier sculpts that you can get from either Mirliton, Forlorn Hope Miniatures and Battlezone Miniatures. I have a preference for buying those from Battlezone, but all companies have their benefits. Of you like the models you see, take a look at those companies. I do, so that's where I go to buy models.
But yes, I've essentially got about a 2,500 point army of Wood Elves finished already, and about another 1,000 points to finish off, on my painting table. Which I'll show soon. But I also have these guys. All in all, I though I had about 7,000 points worth all told, but after filming, I recalculated and I'm reckoning on, depending on the Warhammer system, about 6,200 points worth.
I still dream of reaching 12,000 points with these guys, and with another trio of treemen and another commander on dragon - I have one picked out - I should be able to add another 1,100 points to that total.
I also intend to have a lot more archers and cavalry purchased. Mostly from Battlezone Miniatures. They have some of the old Grenadier molds.
But yes, I think if I invest in some of the specials and things - perhaps more wardancers - things could bulk up nicely. I would still like to do plenty of Eternal guards. I enjoyed painting the ones I have. And I enjoyed doing the banners too! I could always see about going for a load more warhawk riders, if I could find a way of doing the bases properly. That could be fun.
