- Lionel Yu performed a live stream and a concert earlier this year in which he played this Dubstep remix of Moonlight Sonata, and in this video I decided to react to it as I am a pianist!

I hadn’t seen him play before! He’s definitely very good 😊

Keep THE WORK my man ur doing AMAZIN hope u grow fast
Thank you! 😊
I seen Lionel play this live at London, it was amazing
I’ve repeated this video for 27 times or more, it’s so good!
Lionel is something else for sure
why is this guy not famous!
I don’t know!!! 😉 I’m famous to me 😂
I been to that concert
Really?! That’s cool! What did you think?
@@matticawood It was amazing in person. it was worth the 3-hour drive. I even got first row seats!
His TH-cam channel is MusicalBasics!! He’s so incredibly talented!
Spectacular
How did i not know you have a lionel yu reaction?
I've taken a lesson with him! He's awesome!
Sounds amazing, I was just expecting it to be more dubsteppy when it mostly just sounded like moonlight sonata over a dubstep beat. And I don’t think that just adding a dubstep beat automatically makes something dubstep.
Do you know there is now a playable version of Rush E 2?, and that pianist was really good!!
I do! I have the music 😉
Thanks, that intro made me feel ancient.
You didn’t look like you enjoyed it much😅
The faces you made in the middle of it 😂
That’s my natural face 😂
@@matticawood oh😂
My bad bro😅
Check out is 5 th symphony remix
Il take a look! 😀
Ima fan of lionel
Who heard a miss note at 2:28
Sounds like he played a minor 2nd accidentally
Spiced Beethoven moonlight for the blood sucking vampires. The count would be pleased. Beethoven rockkkkkkssss and so do you
Beethoven is a legend…and so am I 😂
yoo you still remember me???!!
Yo! I do 😊
hi TH-cam
Does TH-cam respond? 😂
am i the first viewer?
Maybe? 🧐
I mean, it's really bombastic but I don't get any emotion out of it.
found a new host, the waffle house has
Naah... Didn't improve on it in any way. Just made it sound weird.
Yeah I found that performance quite annoying. It's not that he can't play, or that I even really mind the more radical interpretations... It's just that, as you said, what he's doing is less impressive than a really great performance of the original sonata, so treating it like some revolutionary ground-breaking thing seems kind of strange. To be honest, I was put off by the inconsistent tempo at the start.
