Okay dude, don't take this wrong because I'm smiling my ass off right now, but metal heads NEVER overlook the drummer. I read an interview right before Iowa came out and Joey said he had to run something like 10 miles a day to get ready to pull off the double bass in this song....amazing speed, amazing coordination and great video from you again. I know I've said it before, but it puts a smile on my face to welcome someone new to the community...especially someone so enthusiastic...NOW GET YOUR ASS TO A SHOW;).

You know what's more awesome than a death metal drummer ? A death metal drummer who's also the lead singer ;). Check "milking the goatmachine". They are German, sing in English, and have made a bunch of cover/parody of various famous things (Milk me up before I go go, like a goatmachine,...). I saw them in concert and was wondering : "that's great fun, but I can't see who's singing in the band". Then I was stunned to realise it was the motherfuckin DRUMMER !!!

the song is about record labels who initially showed no interest in signing Slipknot. It was then during the Eden Festival and the head of AR of Sony shows up and saw the band perform and later had a memo go out that was like, 'do not sign this band; if this is what the future of music is, I don't want to be alive.' Then Roadrunner picked them up, and when they went Platinum, they sent the head of AR of Sony a bouquet of dead roses with a note that said 'we are the future of music; we want you dead. Corey sounds like ass live... Just being real. I like his studio sound, and he USE to sound awesome live as well but something happened. I think he damaged his vocal cords because he just don't sound good live anymore.

I seriously think that you could uses some premium headphones. You will not regret spending the money and gettin yourself a pair. Id send ya a pair, but I aint got that kind of money available. Even though Beats arent terrible, you are missing out on some of the rich and brilliant tones in the music and the great bottom end they have. I do have a couple suggestions on higher end ones to look at, but keep in mind with getting super nice, studio grade ones will overly emphasize flaws in the audio and will reproduce frequencies very evenly across the spectrum. This may seem like a good thing, but to the average joe, it prevents the music from having a rich or brilliant sound so it can cause some music to sound bland by comparison. So keep that in mind.
Aside from Sennheiser, I would look at Bose and Audio Technica. The higher end models are very good over all with performance and ergonomics. Additionally they have very good hardware and are great for listening for extended periods of time. For me I like Bose more, but AT's are great especially for more travel because of their slim size. I would suggest, that your budget be around $150-250 for really worthwhile units and cap it no more than $300. If Sure has units in that range, give them some thought too. Sure tends to lean more towards studio grade, but I wouldnt shy too much away from that.
Joey is freaking ridiculous on drums. The Iowa album is my favorite from them. If you listen to the songs in it you will start to understand why. This song is just a taste of the masterpiece that was created.

Man the drum cam is awesome. But in all honesty, you’re missing the best part which is the entire stage. I have this dvd and throughout this song they have pyro going off and crazy ass lighting. You’re robbing yourself of probably the best visual song they preformed at that concert.

Sony is good for sure, but I personally am not impressed. Sennheiser's higher end line is Creme de la creme if you will. But is a bit much for what he is using them for. Their mid range quality units would suit him well. Bose's headphones are for the most part great for what he is doing. Koss are good, but for this guy's uses, I'd actually suggest he get one of the more premium Audio Technica's. High performance, fairly robust and really reasonably priced.

I am a maggot through and through! I love you digging the drums in this video. I just started to watch you so that's why I am commenting so late. But you digging the drums Joey is putting out you should check out the London live Slipknot concert and watch Joey's drum solo. It will really blow your freaking mind, it did mine when I first seen it. Completely incredible so I suggest you go watch that drum solo. You don't have to do a reaction video unless you just want to or maybe you can do the song they play. It's been awhile but I think it's disasterpiece it's hardcore and a lot of people want a reaction to that song. I have been saying if with your girlfriend do Killpop, snuff then redo like people and then disasterpiece. But you can do it however because disasterpiece is very intense but great song.
