Putting the epic into Epic Adam
That was proper epic
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs glad you enjoyed yourself. It’s proper adventuring when you get that far out of your comfort zone.
@@EpicMotorcycleAdventures Could've wild camped down there, It would've dried out by May ... 👌
@@kenbrooks7794😂😂😂
@@EpicMotorcycleAdventures
Epic something for sure 😂
Too funny 😂🤣 love it
Thanks. I'm glad I can be funny even if I am pooping myself 😆
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs lol the battery life, the mud, having to walk.
It just got funnier and funnier 🤣
I nearly wet my pants with laughter, 😂 Brilliant, felt for you the same time but what a great vid. I'm going to watch it again now😂😂
It's a mixed bag kinda video
What a bad man you are ER, laughing at the plight of your friends.... You're obviously short on sympathy, unlike me.... 😜😜🤣🤣
The joys of offroading, Adam. I can tell you thoroughly enjoyed the experience and obviously can't wait to tackle that lane again.
Stacks of kudos to you for attempting such a daunting task with such limited experience of green lanes.
Thanks. I'll try it again. I wouldn't mind getting a group of us and doing in on the ct110s
As soon as the "road" turned into a river, I literally started laughing out loud! 😂.
I will never complain about a poorly kept road again. Cause if we have to compete against a proper British lane, you guys have us beat every time!😅.
You know the situation got bad when you used your coat as a prop! Wow!
😆 I still haven't washed that coat. It got pretty bad but I made it
This was amazing! Had me more on edge than BvG's GSXR vs greenlane video. I'm proud of you. Oooosh 💪
Cheers. I'm impressed that you guys done it, but I don't think it was so soft then
What do you mean, I thought all you off-roaders were hooligans 😎
Wow, I genuinely couldn't believe what I was watching, I know you've wanted to go off-roading for a while but this was insane, that water definitely looked way too deep you absolute legend.
The fact that the bike could stand up on its own just shows how deep it was buried.
Great video mate, fair play to you, you are a proper legend, I can't wait for part 2.
Thanks. I'm still editing part 2. I'm mostly done. It has a cool montage.
Yep, it was a challenge. I think I'm going to stick to simpler things for a while
Tough lane for a beginner 😮, would try an find somewhere less overgrown, less muddy, don't give up 😊
Just a tad overgrown 😆
Jesus mate, kudos for starting your off-roading on that lane!..I’m bloody knackered watching it, I was ducking and diving riding along with you ha ha!..Nathan the bloody legend to the rescue, what a bloke eh 👏🏼…hats off to you, definitely epic that!
Cheers. I'll take you on a tour 😆
It was worth it for the gateway views, right?
I know that must’ve been pretty nerve racking, but it was great fun from where I’m sitting 🤣
That's your 'favourite' trail, I took you up there, you're still scarred by it I expect😂 It gets a bit wet this time of year (as Adam found out) 😅😅
@@kenbrooks7794 I thought it was when I saw the gateways. You were butterfly hunting? You should gone with Adam...you would have laughed your socks off 🤣
I think the edit makes it seem funnier. Part Two should be good.
Mate!!
You kept your cool pretty well, that was a nasty lane!
Nathan the hero
Thanks. I knew I'll be ok but I didn't want to leave the bike behind
Brave man looks like fun
I don’t think it matters what kind of terrain you’re on it’s always hard on your own but it looked like you had plenty of fun though 👍
I had fun but I won't do something so challenging alone again
I had a CRF 250L for Laning, Never fell off a bike or got in as many pickles as much on any other bike but i had sooo much fun doing silly stuff like this. What we learnt Very quickly is that you cannot do this on your own! As you just found out lol Too much can go wrong and Team work is needed to get out when it does
I can imagine the crf250 to be perfect for the lanes. A bit tall for me & I'm 5, 11.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs Your allot taller than me then and I had no problem 😉
Talk about jumping in at the deep end. You’re absolutely putting the epic into epic Adam.
Of course that’s never happened to me. No my wife didn’t come out to rescue me and she certainly never ever told me not to call her again….
Wonder if @nathanthepostman fancies being on all our speed dials. Eryri isn’t that far. Honest😉
I think he was a bit annoyed at first but he admired my efforts.
My wife would have killed me. She panicked watching the video, even though she knew I was home safe.
You can't leave us ona cliff hanger like that! 😂😂😂
I had to wait for an hour, you can wait a couple of days
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs you could have waited until it dried... 😂
Are you going to the ABR next year? Me and Exeter Rider are going back up with some mates, be good to have you camping with us!
Yes, hopefully. I'm gutted I missed it this year.
Adam, I think I've found the green laning vlog you mentioned... haven't we all been in that position when things can't get any worse; but they generally do 😢
I can't remember the video I mentioned. I think I mentioned one of my videos and someone else's. I'm going back down that lane soon 🤪
Nothing, and i mean absolutely nothing, about off road riding appeals to me whatsoever. Glad you're enjoying it though! 😬
It didn't to be either but this is one of the more entertaining off road videos out there. You'll like part 2
You'll be doing the TET next 🗺
That looks like every single attempt I have made at offroading in the last 50 years, I think the only vaguely successful solo offroading I did was when I was 17 on a KTM 125, all full of hubris and youthful immortality.... with nobody to witness me not falling off.... and its all gone down hill ever since.
I have looked at tet. It is tempting
That looks fun..... NOT! 😂😂
I invited you with me. I bet you regret it now
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs soooo glad I was working!
"I can take a picture..." 😅
That actually makes sense because Nathan knows the lanes really well and I meant to say, I had a photo of the entrance. Seems daft now that I look back at it
As long as it worked 👍@@EpicAdamMotovlogs
Bloody good effort Adam. Yeah, you got a bit stuck but you beat everyone else unwilling to tackle such a challenge!! Also, a few lessons under yoir belt for next time no doubt!
Yep, the 2nd part is about the rescue & what I learned.
You mentalist !!!
I thought you and the Himalayan did well to get as far as you did !
Lucky for you, you had mobile phone signal when it happened.
Where I ride there is usually no signal whatsoever so not sure what I'll do should I ever get into trouble.
Get eaten by wild boars most probably.
Good on Nathan for getting you back out 👍🏻
He's like the AA for muppets 😉
That was pretty epic !
Cheers,
Garry
Thanks. I'll try it again when it dries up a bit. I'm lucky Natha wasn't on one of his tours
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs Yep. Unfortunately I have no friends here, so in a similar situation I shall be royally screwed. Plus of course the lack of mobile coverage to call anybody at all in the first place.
My current plan is don't crash, don't get stuck and don't break down. It's the best plan I've come up with so far 😝
When it's bit drier, you'll breeze up that lane no trouble at all. You almost made it this time !
Cheers Adam
Garry
Well done mate, It brings back some horrible memories for me, cant wait to see Pt 2
It was good fun. Part 2 is out tomorrow (Wednesday)
Hey mate, I had a similar experience before I got my Gopro, where i was coaxed up a freshly laid bit of tarmac, which let me on & into a mud fest on my MT-125! 🤬🤣👍
It's ridiculous how knackered we all seem to get when in these sort of scenario's! 🤪👍
It is tiring. My muscles were aching the next day
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs I'm like that today, but only because I moved a couple of sofas for one of my sisters yesterday & old age is cruel!!! 🤣👍
That is definitely green laning! :-D Well done giving it a go mate.
Trail riding, in sloppy mud is really hard work and takes a lot of skill. Interesting but effective tactic of using your jacket to hold the bike up! 🙂
Sorry it took me so long to watch this, been a busy few weeks, binging on the rest now! 🙂
No problem. My coat still smells. I have to sort that out and in the future get dedicated trail riding gear.
It is definitely a lane. I went straight to 10
11 more like! 😀@@EpicAdamMotovlogs
I'm proud of you👍👍 Quite an growth experience. You tackled some pretty nasty stuff.
Thanks. I was actually talking about you to the guy who rescued me.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogsI watch Nathan, he is a pretty fair rider.
Oh my God! I was so going to take the p*ss out of you but I just can't. I'll leave that to the others. Did you seriously get Nathan the Postman to pull you out??? You truly are epic. And muddy.
I'm going to get 3 types of comments. People finding it funny, people thinking I'm stupid and people thinking I'm brave. Possibly 4 comments because some people might think I'm all 3.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs brave and stupid are kind of the same. My opinion is you are a bit brave/stupid for going down a lane you don't know on your own but you are always funny and always entertaining. Sacrificing your jacket to keep you bike upright is some special.
Now that’s entertainment!🤣🤣👍🏻 can’t wait for part two!
The water bit, 😂😂😂not only Nick the duck but Adam too
Yes!🤣🤣 it cracked me up I must admit! You didn’t encourage this one as well did you ER? 😳😂😂😂
@@markhutchings8281 not really although I have been saying to him he should give it a go, but I didn't mean straight to level 10🤣
Not everything is my fault Mark, you sound like me misses.
@exeterrider will you release my family now I done what you said?
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs Not until part2.
Sod the green laning 😮wow no fun that! I really felt for you there Jesus
You were so lucky to get out of that!
If I saw a bit of mud I’d do a 360 haha 😂
Watched Saddle bags 73 video who mentioned it
Oh dear I darent watch any more of this video 😮 but I will 😊😊
Well done 👏
Regards phil
😆 thanks. I haven't been off-roading since, but I will. I'll even try that lane again in the summer
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs
Good en ya
Yes summer would be better 🙌🙌
Lesson learnt heh 😏
did you use Chat GPT to write your description? 😁😁
Always
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs 😇 looked like the abs system had a panic attack, probably full of mud! Trust you made it out 😁
