Fact when editing this video. The insta360 footage overheated my phone, so I put my phone in the freezer whilst it was processing 😅
    Have a nice day everyone.

I used to be thinking about the next bike all the time and went through quite a few bikes pretty quickly until I found a pair that suited really well. One for solo riding without luggage and just having fun and one for luggage and two up.
The talking motorbikes thing is spot on for me though, and for everyone else I know that rides.
£200K per year all on motorbikes? You're probably right. I could get a house with a double garage, then build a second garage in the garden...

I always talk about motorcycles. I'm such a motorcycle geek. I confuse bikers 😆

I don't think about my next bike because I have three in the garage and don't want anymore. One is an Himalayan for off-road fun, the others are a sports bike and a tourer.
I don't think too much about the weather unless I've got the itch for a bike ride because I have a car, but you do notice the length of the winters and this year is a washout so far.
I do like a drink and think that once you resolve the issue of worrying about buying or financing your next bike you will feel at peace with the world. You'll know which bike is right for you so don't over analyse it.... just buy it. I don't think a short test ride is a good idea because many bikes grow on you over time and that's true of my Honda CB650F which I didn't like immediately but now love.

I think I'll calm down after my 2nd bike. It's just frustrating trying to figure out what one I want.
I think I'm craving the summer more than anything else. The Himalayan is great and I'm reminded of that every time I ride a different bike.

You are a funny dude. Deep thinking can get anyone all twisted up in knots. Balance spending your money and time of what you and your family want and need. Money mistakes in most cases can be recovered from but once you lose time you can't get back.

Exactly, and that's why I think I have finally figured out what 2nd bike I want.

Cheers. The last couple of days have been a nightmare. I found a fantastic motorcycle but it will push my budget and my riding limits. Also not sure if I'm getting the house with the garage, which affects my budget and the type of bike I'll get.

Great vlog, me and my wife only started going on bike holidays once the kids had reached an age to be trusted to look after the house, now we do mostly long weekends and some 7 to 10 day trips to France and Belgium, also some trips down your part of the world, im certainly not rich l worked in the NHS all my life 😂And you are spot on you never stop looking for the next bike 👍

This concerns me. I can't think too much about the next bike and the next bike because at my great age, I'll be dead by then. In fact, it looks like I might be forced to work in Morrisons to afford the first bike 😂 My mental health is already in pieces 😭

Great vlog. Is it biker or bloke mentality? I agree with all of your comments, but as I get older I realise that its a quirk that I have: if I get this I'll be able to do this better, enjoy this more, spend more time relaxing etc etc. Invariably, I seem to make the right decision (at the time, and for me), but do I subconsciously close the door on my old decisions when another thought or exciting spark enters into the mix? I'm only a week into Himalayan ownership, but at 58 (almost) I think I've found my bike for life... and I'm also going on my first proper tour, since Norfolk to Swanage on my 350LC (circa 1984). I'm looking forward to following your channel and seeing where your journey takes you 😉

The Himalayan is great. I'm very comfortable with mine and I doubt I'll ever get rid of it. They are incredibly cheap now as well. I think I'll end up with at least 3 bikes in the next couple years.
They are comfortable to tour on. Gets a bit boring on the motorway though but motorways are always boring
