Just discovered your channel. Subbed! 🎉 amazing skills considering you are holding the stick and camera around. I do raw long distance videos and sliding is my next goal. Keep it up ❤ saludos from Spain 🇪🇸

Watching from California. My high school had Skate PE and Surf PE, it’s just a culture thing here but I give you more props for getting out there and shredding more than if you grew up with the best hills or a skatepark in your backyard. Keep with it brother I’m looking forward to following your progression.

I found that a hill that is steep enough to require harder carving to control your speed really helped me ease into learning stand ups. That and really focusing on shoulder rotation when entering the slide.

Nice progression on stand up. 👍I need to work on that. Would still recommend elbow pads-if you high side at speed - you’re going to get launched and pucks can’t save your arms. Maybe pros and experts can, but we noobs have a lot more falling practice ahead. I also wear Kevlar sleeves to protect my tattoos.

180s are part of learning checks for almost everyone. It's very much just a step on the journey, not a failure. Keep it up! 💪👌👍

You'll have some nasty falls when learning to slide, especially stand up slides. Wear a helmet!

@@JimmyCruise i think this person means even when getting to and from your spots. Small pebbles, anything can take you out suddenly when youre not expecting something random in the road, especially as you are learning techniques to slow and stop.
