S1 - Ep 340 - Matjiesfontein - Transported Way Back in Time!

Our visit to Matjiesfontein was a delightful and enriching experience. We have enjoyed a drive through the village in the past. This time we decided to immerse ourselves in the charm of the village. For starters, we had breakfast at the Lord Milner Hotel and explored its captivating history and grounds. The hotel itself was a stunning masterpiece, exuding oldworldly elegance and grace. As we strolled down the main street, we were transported way back in time, marvelling at the preserved businesses that once thrived there, such as the iconic Laird's Arms Pub, the old Post Office, Standard Bank, Train Station, and the intriguing museums.
