Thanks for the review. I got a pair of the V3 Mono's not long ago for fun (I have a few much more pricier amps like you do) and I have to say they are quite good! Aside from the opamp tweaks, if you are planning to keep these around you might grab a pair of Figure 8 to standard IEC adapter for the power supplies and try some after market power cords on them. I had on hand two of the premium Viborg multi-plex cords (their upper tier with rhodium/copper ends) they sell on Amazon and used them on the mono power supplies with the adapters and it made a very nice difference indeed. Better bass, fuller sound, quieter background, more detail, smoother, bigger soundstage. I'm just using OPA2107 opamps in the main position and LM4562 as followers for upgraded opamps. Amazing what you can get these to sound like.
on my system, seems like the fosi audio has a smoother warmer tone, while the FX Audio has a leaner and brigther treble boarderlining digitized highs, but bass seems better on the FX audio, less boom, tigther or more controled?
Switching Power supply is much more difficult to Design to provide the Necessary output power(esp current) at the same time giving LOW noise output. An easy way is to use linear power supply using is a very large toroidal or E core transformer with large supply caps, this combo(very bulky) is not cheap but very effective and implemented successfully in the past.
Fx audio sounds much more transparent and more live. Fosi sounds more full bodied. I would say that FX audio sounds more like a high end amp, but needs careful matching because it seems to sound quite bright.
Mentioning the Sony MDR cd900st as the headphone to use to get the best out of your system tells me everything. Those headphones might be the worst ive ever heard.
Great test comparison. Thank you so much.

Good review. What tubes are you using on the Freya+?
Please see details in video description. Thanks

What is power output of FX Audio amp in mono, is it bridged ?
Hi
Which one do you suggest ? FX-Audio L07 or Topping Pa5?
I like PA5 more personally.
Hi friend, I would like to ask for your help, which headphone amplifier/preamplifier do you recommend to pair with the SMSL-SU9 ULTRA. Thank you
I would suggest you to try SMSL SH-X, thanks
The previous recording of V3 monoblocks sounds better to my ears.
It appears that the Fx A70 might be experiencing a sibilance issue.

Your comment tells me everything!
