CrudusViscus Yeah they did. He put up a video of it when he and his girlfriend opened the package. One new different blade and one reaver cleaver. They took the piss out of him and printed a no-bullet logo onto the blade near the hilt. xD
Just found your show. Hopefully they will make more of em. Three guys living the American dream. Making weapons, drinking beer and having a tv show. New Subscriber
I would love to see a few more of these with your other blades aswell. I bought a Vakra and have been very pleased with it, would be nice to show people they are far from wall hangers.
Holy fuckin wow! You guys put out some serious steel! Glad to see Missoula isn't all Subarus and Tevas. I enjoyed the touch of class added by the Cold Smoke can. I NEED one of these
they had a show actually, about building a zombie bug out base. they did two episodes (great episodes actually, i loved them) and the network wanted more, but they wanted to get back to building blades. In my opinion choosing your passion over tv is awesome
I'd like to know if your Felon comes with a sharpened clip... and also how much for the Tyrannosaurus? I'd also like to throw it out there that you sir, are a true American.
Thank You , the first 30 sec caused me to laugh uncontrollably. The intensity on your face wrote another chapter in the book of "Taking things seriously"
In your stance you need to use the speed of the swing to carry you through the first cans but when you feel the resistance you need to pull more with your left arm so that the force of you swing does not diminish but keeps constant through out the swing. (I used to be a certified teacher of sword fighting with the Katana)
They actually did get a spot on Sci-Fi as well as Discovery with a 2 episode special. I know this, because I live in the same town. It aired May 18th this year on Discovery. they decided they didn't want to dedicate more time to making a show though, and would rather keep making weaponry.
that depends on the balance of the blade. a sword made for slashing, like a katana, would be a poor choice as a weapon after it gets dull, but something like a machete would have enough weight in the blade to turn into a decent blunt weapon that you could sharpen the second you get to a relatively safe area.
Hey Great vid, I was on the Website. You guys got some sick stuff in your line up. Have my eye on that Xiphos. Its a good price but unfortunately I live in europe so taxes and shipping is a bitch. Nearly halfway there already !
they actually did have a special on discovery with these guysi saw a while ago. kind of like doomsday preppers they show them building swords then building a bunker out of shipping containers. i think its actually only one or a couple episodes. actually im watching it now and thats what lead me to this youtube vid :D sometimes this show repeats. not often and late at night when it does show
You should get in contact with the SlowMo Guys! They could test out your weapons in high quality slow motion making the strength of your weapons look even more epic. Check them out, honestly :)
One day man....one day I will own one of the wolves....maybe a Kraken first (im a huge karambit nut but already blew my wad on an emerson so....have to wait a bit) also the Reaver of Reaper cleaver.....Okay I'm pretty skilled with polearms and okay with swords.... I guess if I had any question I'd ask how the Reaver Cleaver and Reaper act as weapons, what versatility would you get out of them, balance-wise and with their weight it looks like I could use them as both an axe and with some spear/polearm function. Also I jsut got to say: I envy you guys so much, you are living my personal dream and making weapons (stylistically) that I would like to make. I just don't have that thing...watcha call it.....knowledge and skill! yeah... :( :P Sorry for ranting...I'm just fanboy-ing out.
Barbados Sephtis Consumer accessible slow-mo and ultra hidef cameras have come a long way just between 2011 and now. You can get something that shoots 1000 fps for 1500 bucks now, that wouldve cost 10,000 in 2011. Pretty amazing really
this is the last thing someone would use their blade for in the apocalypse... an if I saw someone distroy perfectly good, irreplaceable beer... it would be a fight to the death...
You were finally able to slice through all those beer cans because Motorhead was playing in the background.
Pfft, I can do that!
Here, hold my beer.
*Slice*
...Oh.
If you look closely, it's beer cans filled with water.. I know I felt just like you did. I'm glad I found the truth.
Spl2iggan The..The beer is a lie..
THE BEER IS A LIE.
plot twist he cut his friend
Discovered zombietools through Skallagrim. I loved the imprint near the handle on the new Reaver Cleaver you sent him, it was brilliant! xD
He got a new reaver cleaver?
CrudusViscus Yeah they did. He put up a video of it when he and his girlfriend opened the package. One new different blade and one reaver cleaver. They took the piss out of him and printed a no-bullet logo onto the blade near the hilt. xD
You guys have the best music taste.
Clearly needed the right music for a proper cut.
Found you guys through Skallagrim, Your make some nice stuff based on what I seen so far... It looks awesome!
Nice cut Max,
That final cut was amazing! :)
Best use of PBR I've ever seen.
At first I was annoyed they were wasting beer, then I saw it was PBR and they're doing the world a favor.
they're actually filled with water
They're that way factory direct...
+phil acio this man gets it
That's pretty much all I needed to see to convince me to get one of these beautiful blades!
So satisfying that you kept the video going for the slow motion "YEAH!" at the end. Good video!
Glad to see you have good taste in beer! Also that was a very impressive cut!
Just found your show. Hopefully they will make more of em. Three guys living the American dream. Making weapons, drinking beer and having a tv show. New Subscriber
21 hipsters cried during the making of this video...
Don't worry, no PBR was harmed during the making of this video. He drank it first :)
I got here from Skallagrim.
Cool blade.
Great playlist playing, dudes.
You guys should try for the world record bottle cut. I think its at 25.
Saw your guy's video hosted on the Science Channel on Outrageous Acts of Science. Was very cool.
I would love to see a few more of these with your other blades aswell. I bought a Vakra and have been very pleased with it, would be nice to show people they are far from wall hangers.
You guys make very tough and sharp blades. I'll be sure to make a to buy list of some of your blades.
Nice. Making that cut is definitely not as easy as one might think. Well done.
If I am ever in Montana, I'll drop by with some beer for you guys. You deserve it.
Must admit.
That was pretty friggin awesome man!!
I was almost mad... then I saw those beers were all previously drank. So then I became not mad- but happy.
Finally. A good use for a PBR.
Holy fuckin wow! You guys put out some serious steel! Glad to see Missoula isn't all Subarus and Tevas. I enjoyed the touch of class added by the Cold Smoke can. I NEED one of these

Not sure how I ended up here but that was awesome
I would love to see a video with the Harvester in action!
Please guys!
Nice video, keep up with the excelent work!
thanks for drinking the beer first. i was really upset at first thinking you were wasting it
wish you had a high speed camera to capture that in slow motion!!
that is a badass blade. and the fact you use pbr... heavenly lol. got it tated on the arm. good work guys. keep it coming.
Epic. Apokotana just made my wish list.
I'd like to know if your Felon comes with a sharpened clip... and also how much for the Tyrannosaurus?
I'd also like to throw it out there that you sir, are a true American.
Amazing. Good taste in music too
Love the slow motion money shot @ 3:00. Next time you need to do it with a 24 pack of kittens.
Sweet video, fellas.
nice bit of hendrix in the background
Thank You , the first 30 sec caused me to laugh uncontrollably. The intensity on your face wrote another chapter in the book of "Taking things seriously"
Truly Epic. May Tyr smile upon you!
In your stance you need to use the speed of the swing to carry you through the first cans but when you feel the resistance you need to pull more with your left arm so that the force of you swing does not diminish but keeps constant through out the swing. (I used to be a certified teacher of sword fighting with the Katana)
Drinking beer, playing with dangerous weapons while jamming to Jimi Hendrix. Man I miss high school.
"Alllrighty, well. we got almost two dollars worth of PBR here... And now we're gonna try 'n cut threw them sumbitches"
love your blades. cant wait to own some
for a minute I was worried there was still beer in there.
yeah you need a little space between the cans :)
you guys make sweet stuff!
@3:06 wicked badass. Ordering one now! hahaha Great marketing! Makes it better since no beer was harmed during the filming of this video!
Thank you for your service in removing your share of PBR from the world. No respectable beer-drinker deserves to have that swill shoved in their face.
it only works with Lemmy, dude ;)
Hey zombie tool guys I think you guys should make a nice battle axe for those of us who like to get up close and personal!
now you should start drinking beer for the next test
That was bloody marvelous, but is this one as durable as the Deuce?
Also, can you make a vid about the Captain 2011?
awesome blades, whats the first song called please. Thanks in advance :)
They actually did get a spot on Sci-Fi as well as Discovery with a 2 episode special. I know this, because I live in the same town. It aired May 18th this year on Discovery.
they decided they didn't want to dedicate more time to making a show though, and would rather keep making weaponry.
Everything is easier with Mötorhead.
U guys are awsome, watching your series, i want that katana
BAD ASS! Can't wait to get me a Phalanx - REALLY cool blades!!!
that depends on the balance of the blade. a sword made for slashing, like a katana, would be a poor choice as a weapon after it gets dull, but something like a machete would have enough weight in the blade to turn into a decent blunt weapon that you could sharpen the second you get to a relatively safe area.
Amazing video, amazing sword, and pretty good technique too! (I would not be able to do that :D)
Thanks bro.. I found it shortly I have to know.. I guess I had already had the bob dylan version on my Itunes.
you guys should make a zombie movie
Seriously since you already know alot about em
It would be easyer if the can where sealed ( brand new ones ) cause the presure will give you the best cut on the can.Good video thow i liked it :)
@zombietools what was the second Song you used
Awesome, I'm gonna have to buy an Apokatana at some point.
Awesome video!
Thanks!
HELL YEAH!!!! Those Zombies should be crapping in their pants right about now muahahahaha
They had a three-part special(Maybe a two part) on how to build a shelter for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Oooh I love that song! Help by the beatles I mean.
you guys need a high speed camera
This sold me on my first ZT
shame you didn't record this with a high speed camera :(
I want the "Reaper" sword. That thing is bad-ass and would so come in handy in any apocalyptic type situation.
I found them, thank you
Hey Great vid, I was on the Website. You guys got some sick stuff in your line up. Have my eye on that Xiphos. Its a good price but unfortunately I live in europe so taxes and shipping is a bitch. Nearly halfway there already !
The difference in the end was Lemmy playing in the background.
LOL I don't know you guys. But I want to know you guys. This is pretty damn awesome.
I was relieved when you said they are full of water, no sense wasting all that PBR.
Shhhh. Don't tell my lame hipster friends that.
they actually did have a special on discovery with these guysi saw a while ago. kind of like doomsday preppers they show them building swords then building a bunker out of shipping containers. i think its actually only one or a couple episodes. actually im watching it now and thats what lead me to this youtube vid :D sometimes this show repeats. not often and late at night when it does show
Love it
Thanks
this is awesome guys
I was going to say “what a waste of beer”, then I realized it was Pabst Blue Ribbon!
Max sounded like a god damn lion at the end!
What is the song that starts playing at 0:47 ?????? I have to know, I have been searching for it for years.
You just got a new subscriber!
coolest thing of the universe!
music in the back is so epic!
Great job.
You should get in contact with the SlowMo Guys! They could test out your weapons in high quality slow motion making the strength of your weapons look even more epic. Check them out, honestly :)
What steel and heat treat are you using?
5160. Oil quench, double temper.
Thanks! And cool videos!
One day man....one day I will own one of the wolves....maybe a Kraken first (im a huge karambit nut but already blew my wad on an emerson so....have to wait a bit) also the Reaver of Reaper cleaver.....Okay I'm pretty skilled with polearms and okay with swords....

:P
Sorry for ranting...I'm just fanboy-ing out.
I'm in love with his bamf beard and hair >.< I'm jealous dude.
I gotta save up for one of these..considering buying a Rat Bastard/Reaver Cleaver for murdering trees.
shame that this wasn't caught on a high speed camera so we could see all the amazing detail but amazing nonetheless!

PBR... You guys must be in Utah right?
The last one was great
this is the last thing someone would use their blade for in the apocalypse... an if I saw someone distroy perfectly good, irreplaceable beer... it would be a fight to the death...
it was water. he drunk that beer already man
With that kind of momentum you might be able to cut through... What, four undead freaks?
nice cut.
Our heroes. They're doing it for the children
That's one hell of a lot of zombie knee caps..
Would it be, persay, possible to Combine two sowrds, and make a DarthApokatana?
That is sweet. Good Video.
