Been more than a year ever since I started playing Branded and I never played floodgates but this time I might get some revenge against all those toxic decks. Thank you for the fast and clear combos

one thing I would recommend: when you use Lubellion to fusion summon mirrorjade, you can use cartesia's affect on link 2 to fuse into granguignol. Lubellion's effect can still be activited while in the gy, and you still have your bystial lubellion on the field
@@saikjalal1972 I wouldn't do that without Lost already on the field. The point of waiting on Cartesia is so Lubellion can place Lost on the field first so you get a search off fusing with Cartesia. It just costs you the Bystial Lubellion body which you're not really doing anything with otherwise
The only time this backfired was when someone played Inferno Tempest against me, with Owner’s Seal and gave back the Ido I used to lock them lol, but I won the duel and it was a pretty insane one
Have you got decklists for these? I want to try adding Quem / Nadir to my deck but I'm unsure on the optimal ratios. I feel like there are so many good Branded cards now you gotta pick what you put in / what you leave out now.
For the Nadir combo sure but none of that works against a puppet summoned in the draw phase. The lock is lingering and applied as a condition, not effect
I got into Branded once I pulled a royal Mirrorjade lol. I didn't use the Ido/Diciple/Gimmick lock with expulsion since the deck didn't need to lock your opponent. I don't feel bad using it now since Branded isn't tier 1 and had had several hits. I wonder if they'll hit granguignol or the summon locks first lol
Granguignol is an UR so it does have lower chance of being hit, not zero, but lower chances. They could definitely go the route of banning all the summoning lock cards and only keep the one that state "Cannot be Special Summon" but for as long as the new pack is still here, Sanctifire ain't getting hit just yet.
Dragon Link doesn't need 5 bloody negates. Kashtira doesn't need the zone lock. Purrely doesn't need a Invincible boss monster that's also big af. But these are what make those deck so strong and meta competent. As strong as Branded maybe, the average hand still lose to Ash, the standard combo line lose to Nibiru, Maxx C force you to setup suboptimal board. If my opponent is going to do everything they can to win, I will also use everything my deck could offer to win, and that's included Gimmick Puppet.
Yo u got me flyin though ranked with this deck ty,just a question tho,this deck loves going first,and if u go second against a kashtira or any deck that gets really set up how would u fight off against that going second,would u add niburu or evenly matched in this deck??
The most popular things Branded decks use for going second are Thrust with a corresponding boardbreaker package (herald, talents, evenly, etc) and Super poly although super poly doesn't help as much vs Kashtira for example.

@@TheShapestofSnatches you can say that i have like 70% win rate with deck rn on ladder. Maxx Is Annoying but the Bystials also counter every meta deck save for Kash.
If you like it then play it. It's expensive so most Branded player just opted for the good ol Fusion strategy. Heck I need 14 UR cards to play Synchro variant, not impossible but not fast either.
Run super poly. Fuse their dark xy monster, summon your plant dragon for negate or San Albion because they can't target it. It's rough but can be done with good hand

Fenrir and unicorn can only trigger on a new chain. The earliest Unicorn can trigger is after you make Granguignol with Cartesia and at that point you can just chain Branded in Red to the Unicorn effect. Fenrir doesn't matter bc you always have 2 light spellcasters on field and the Albaz is in grave.
It's hard for lab to play into an already established branded board, any funny business with welcome labs get stuffed out by Mirrorjade or Retribution and you have all the usual branded followup with Cartesia/Lost/Albaz fusions dumped by jade

It's easier to out because they just need to get rid of it after it hits the field. Especially with Thrust in the game, people can literally just Thrust for Dark Hole and not only get rid of ido, but make it backfire and lock you instead.
Gimmick Puppets can't play under an immediate gimmick puppet lock. It's a rank 9 deck that uses supplementary engines to help make rank 9s (which are better at doing so than gimmick puppet cards are lol)
I literally only play Ido lock, when all of these other no skill bastards sit there and spam 27 negates because they can't play past a single turn. Also, i play Branded Despia, and i never saw, or used Ido lock until now, and even then, its bad against the mirror match. Edit: Gimmick Puppet lock does no work against Branded Despia, due to Branded Banishment.
If they get rid of Ido then the lock lose its effect, with the trade off being locked for more than 1 turn. With Puppet, you can't get rid of it once it hit your field but being only 1 turn. And how exactly would Branded Banishment bypass Puppet lock effect?
@@redace4821 Puppet lock is once per turn for a turn, crash a Despia into something, and fuse off next turn for free as the deck doesn't run bystials. I've been puppet locked before, it failed spectacularly.

cartesia fuses with lubellion (should've been more specific lol)

Branded Synchro is a lot worse in MD with Maxx C being legal and all the hits to the maindeck Bystials
