I've seen a few of these guides that bring out the 2nd mirror jade during opponent's turn, but I think this is the first video I've seen that easily mapped it out for me (or maybe I wasn't paying attention the other times). I just ordered my TCG branded deck, so I guess time to get better at this haha.
Great video. Really i think what it comes down to is understanding the deck and the interactions between everything. It's a very nonlinear deck, so having a solid understanding imo is the key to piloting the deck efficiently. But this video really helps in showcasing that.
19:28 i think the one big important takeaway from this section in specific though to note is that the whole high spirits discard cart->dump GGG->add albaz instead of merc interaction can be done in a variety of situations outside that scenario too. examples: the albion branded fusion line by itself but u banish lubellion for titaniklad (loses to 6th card imperm, droplets, spoly but it is way better ceiling imo and a bit better than blind banishment set pass imo) and also importantly the Nadir dump Garura for titaniklad + albion (basically you do the same pattern to get access to manual branded fusion on your opps turn thru cart + albaz)
On the second combo you have to do chain link 1 Albion chain link 2 quem because branded lost can misstiming so in your video your opponent would be able to chain when you summon lubellion.
On the last combo, you don't need to give up on the albaz fusion w rindbrumm's effect, since you can fuse mirror jade and grang into dragostapelia (grang as the fusion monster and mirror as the dark monster). You get to search something w the lost and you can discard that w the albaz
Have you tried running Mysterion, the Dragon Crown? It's a Fusion of one Spellcaster and one Dragon and has a pretty strong removal effect triggered by a monster effect that summons that monster or a monster of the same type. At 8:12 you could have summoned that with Lubellion and Granguignol.
for your last combo you don't need two granguignol to have the same interaction but dose it change the recursion of the deck as you can use granguignol for the mirrorjade fusion to put it back into the extra deck then send it to the GY off high spirits. leaves lubellion on the field to be use as the fusion monster for dragostapelia, and mirrorjade as the dark monster, same can be done with the second granguignol in your combo instead of summoning albaz. not sure if I'm missing a reason you need a granguignol on the field if it being in the grave works the same.
Yeah in that particular combo you can use Grang but a lot of combos involving Cartesia usually don't want to make Grang until after using Lubellion to make Mirrorjade bc you can actually fuse with a Lost up for a free search. That being said if you do have a High Spirits it might be worth it to forgo the Lost search (meaning no point adding something like Albion/Kitt anymore) and Lubellion to save an extra deck space.
Any chance for a decklist on masterduel meta? I've been a big fan of your budget Marincess deck for the events and was always intrigued about branded (i know its not very budget friendly lol)
@@TheShapestofSnatches Thats true, I was following a random decklist I found on masterduel meta and quickly saw how expensive it was, got a bit lucky with some pulls from their secret packs but I guess because I enjoyed your Marincess deck, you've "earned my trust" with your decklists - hence I thought maybe I'd ask 😅 As a returning yugioh player from way back (think the last time I played was around 2012 or so) it really helps to see the decklist and read the effects etc on a website rather than just a pic 😅

The extra deck for branded is pretty standard, if you look at Master Duel Meta and check out any branded deck, 9 out of 10 are all going to have the same ED. You have a little wiggle room on the super poly targets, but the core is always the same.
