- This is Paul and his 1989 Stepvan that he converted into his tiny home on wheels. Paul worked at a grocery store as a deli manager in Florida for 10 years and had never traveled, but always wanted to. When his dog (best friend) passed, he decided to take a leap and change his entire life to live life on his own terms. He's been on the road for over 2 years and sees no end in sight.

Bless him. Anyone who cares about and loves dogs as much as paul does is always a real lovely person. I am so happy that he built his dream and is living it. Well done my friend. :-)
Haven't seen one of your videos in forever. The changes are amazing in both the bread truck and in you! The van looks fantastic but compared to you they are nothing. You look so much more relaxed and comfortable in your skin if you will. It's awe inspiring. It's convinced both myself and my wife to retire, build a home on wheels and hit the road. Thank you for taking us on your journey. We are in fact in your debt. We retire in May, will be starting our build at that time and look forward to running into you on the road. We owe you dinner and drinks and hope you will take us up on the offer when we meet.
Paul has made a awesome little home out of his bread truck. I encourage everyone to go check out his channel. He is a great guy and his live streams are always a ton of fun to go and hangout and chat. Those of us that are fans of his are known as the BreadRolls and we are always looking for more to join the gang. All are welcome!!
Mechanic Steve you’re my boy! Love ya man!
I'll be coming by so look for me thank you Steve
I love this build! Very nicely done. I really appreciate the sustainability factor, with repurposing things others have discarded. Waste not, want not!
What a lovely human. The Truck is coming along beautifully. Cheers!
Thank you for your advice for "ready or not, go live your best life" because I am expecting that is exactly what I will be doing.
I love this and I love how proud he is of his rig (as he should be!). I'm definitely will be checking out his channel.
That shelf lock you made was a great idea
Never underestimate anyone you meet. All of this creativity wrapped up in a deli manager. Congratulations on stepping out Paul and developing what you wanted to see in life. Discomfort = create.
Paul, so very sorry about losing your buddy. I know all too well how devastating that is. Your inspiration from him has been well directed! That is a fantastic setup and cozy home. Be safe and travel far!
I've followed Paul's channel from the beginning and his van has evolved to a fantastic home on wheels. Those tacos he makes are amazing too.👍🏾
Driving Home I do have a way with tacos! Thank you!!
ABSOLUTELY BLOODY GORGEOUS HOME. CHEERS FROM AUSTRALIA.
Alan Hudson thank you!
You know that I read that with an Aussie accent before I even saw the word Australia
I lost my bernese in July, she was my best friend. I also changed my life after her passing, getting prepared for vanlife too!!
Paul we are definitely Kindred Spirits, I like you find myself in the same boat you did when you started roaming I'll be paying a visit soon. My 90 LB lab-Shepherd mix is rounding her last bump and bend in the road, I will get new smaller Girldog after mourning & reflection. Presently I'm living Sticks & Bricks I have been planning to to miniaturize, like you for 10 years now watching every Tiny Home, Cube Van, Bus, Moving Truck and Trailer renovation on TH-cam so far you are the one and only single most person I can relate to in what you went through I will be doing the same thing. I've said time and time again no more dogs no more but I'm weakening and maybe it's not a bad idea for you also thank you brother for sharing your lifestyle I'll be looking in constantly I can't wait to meet you it will be sooner than later bye for now your friend Jim.
" I rather live on my own terms"...it resonates. I agree with you.
it looks super cute, well done and lot of storage too.I am allways impressed.
Paul's setup keeps getting better & better.
Omg. BMD is my dream. He was such a cutie. Sorry for your loss.
I rescued a husky the first of November. Took her to the vet and our vet was out of town so I saw a fill in, she told us our rescued husky had a spay scare so she not pregnant but she has heart worms. We began a 30 day antibiotic treatment. Within a couple of weeks we began to realize that all of her weight gain was in her stomach. We got her in for an ultrasound. Her scare was a C section scare. She had been used as a breeder. Millie is only 2 years old. And pregnant again . Our vet believes she has had multiple litters. Thanksgiving day she gave birth to 7 gorgeous puppies. Right away we could see they are not huskies, two were labskies. The other 5 looked like border collie husky mix. Now we believe they are Bernice mountain dogs. They are adorable! 7 weeks old. Looking for great loving homes. If you are ready for a sweet puppy we would be happy to give you a puppy. I think you would really like them, all I ask is that you spay or neuter so that the puppies never end up like momma Millie. You can see Millie and her adorable puppies on youtube at (our huskies Dakota & Pearl.) Their birth as well as playful videos are on there. You will see Dakota. He thinks he is the daddy . He’s been neutered for years. But we just let him enjoy the honor of fatherhood. So if you hear us refer to him as the daddy, he’s the step daddy. Dakota is so proud of those puppies! Message me if you would consider giving one of these beautiful puppies a home. Leslye
In 1972 my baby daddy and I lived for a brief time in a step van. Such good memories.
If you spent ten years in a Publix deli, you've earned it! I only made it four years. Your home is great!
Great words of wisdom, nothing prepared you to step out and go somewhere you have never been before.
I love your cabinet door locks! And your attitude! Happy Trails
I am so sorry for the incredibly sad loss of your beloved Farley. He is GORGEOUS!!I Animals are my inspiration too! I think he watches over you and keeps you safe on the roads. I truly believe he is watching over you and feeling very proud of his Daddy!! Stay safe and have a good life! Happy Trails to you!👍🏻😄🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
Rest In Peace beautiful Farley. 🌹😔🌹
Excellent job turning your truck into a tiny house on wheels. Have safe travels.
Paul, I have watched several of your videos and this is by far the most positive that your presentation of yourself and step van home have come across! More smiles, less attitude, just sayin’.🤠🙏
I'm with you on the reuse. It's crazy what people throw away - great stuff too
🥰❤🥰 Amazing. You're living my dream! Beautiful, cozy build.
Love:
* the window/light effect behind counter
* ingenuity, recycling
* on demand water heater
Also Love:
*Low cost solutions
*Alternative design style
*low profile lighting
*High ceilings
*Use of double fans in hot climates
*Living plants inside
breadtrucker!! breadrolls rule... lol!! he's a great guy and fun personality.... everyone should follow him
gracefulcat68 thank you gracefulcat!! You are awesome!
There are more and more people that are living the style every day and I think it's wonderful because it gives them the freedom they are free they're not tied down to anything or anyone other than themselves and I think that's how it should be.
I like everything about this video. This guy is enthusiastic and inspiring. I admire him so much for taking the bull by the horns and living his life . It reflects on him. Love his house and all the thought that went into it.
Awesome build, a forever home built with love 💖
Some really cool ideas that I had not seen before. The table top mount method (and two different table top sizes) is interesting. Cabinet "locks" are so simple, yet amazing. Thanks for showing us.
So fun to watch this tour! Each channel that does a tour of the same person has it’s unique version of the tour. Love that! I saw his beginning of van life about a year ago. Super great transformation from then to now!
Paul has have a builder/designer talent Wow! To make everything fit and look good! He has done a brilliant job! Great interview show! Will check out his channel too!
Sorry to hear about your little buddy Farley. I lost my little buddy 2 years ago. I really glad that you are living on the road. Hope all the best for ya in the future btw your tiny home ROCKS!!
have watched your van and life evolve both seem to be getting quite nice. congrats on getting out of your comfotability zone and LIVING your life
Nice tiny home! I like that it's stealth. He can hide in plain sight when traveling.
You really have me interested. 75 years old but would love to build one. Thank you for your videos.
Wow! I love your story and I love your build. I'm always amazed when people use their talent and creativity to create the perfect home on wheels for themselves.
The cabinet locks are absolute genius. Nice job
Paul has done well for himself.
Glad his TH-cam career has taken
off. Great he is now enjoying his life.
I really like the way you’ve built up your van. By using repurposed materials, you’ve made it accessible for the majority of us. It’s fun to look at the homes on wheels that have all the bells and whistles but you, like most of us, are making do with what you have gotten free or cheap and the upgrades will come as $ allows.
I believe that!! I have seen so many people live in their skoolies as they build it....
Thank you so much you have did a wonderful job and thank you for the ideas with the closing of the cabinet and much much more I'm planning on using my furniture that I have in my apartment for my dream thank you again, God bless
I love the bread truck setup!
Good luck on your journey through
The world of van adventure..you have a great built truck. you are a
Great person God bless you and follow your dreams
I had the same feelings at 17 so I joined the Navy and spent 8 years seeing the world from McMurdo sound, Antarctica, Greenland, Mediterranean including many ports of Europe and finally Vietnam. After that I married and decided to leave the military. That would have been a great time for a bread truck but I took a few jobs ending up as a railroad freight Conductor for 22 years before forced disability. Good luck with your life.
Nice conversion. Love how you repurposed.
Love it. It's like a little cabin on wheels.
I can totally see myself living in something like that. 👍
Paul, I'm in love with your van, and have been since I first saw it. I like that you've recycled or re-purposed, and created a very homey space for yourself. Happy trails young man!
Another creative house on wheels..love it
Great build. I absolutely love it.
Love the Breadtrucker!!!
Susan Larson love you too!!
Love your home and totally agree with the idea that you don't like lights shinning in your face. The lighting in your home is awesome. The dinning area is so cool, you just kept pulling out different parts to convert the area for multiple uses. Ingenious!
I have been following you for a long time...my, how your rig has changed! It’s truly amazing and so safe and homey...you’ve done a great job and I’m happy to see your every video!
love seeing these vehicles recycled! GREAT job!
Love to watch Paul, been watching his step van evolve. He has a great channel!
That cabinet lock is pure genius
Paul, great job, to see the end result of your home.. You were the first "Bread truck Home", that I saw on You Tube. One of which was when the cops tried to trick you into showing them the inside of your truck... I loved how you dealt with them. Paul, I have a skoolie, I'm handy but I don't have a safe place to work on it. So not much has been done to it.. But I like your advice, I'm just scared, since I am older and a covered man.. But you seem like a person whom "Caravan", I would join.. Great job once again...
I love this, and especially appreciate that it was a slow build. Coming to look for your channel, now. GREAT BUILD.
I love this simple design.
Great job. I saw his step van when he first started and the improvements are amazing. A beautiful home.
Good job. God speed. Great work and video
I am so happy for you. You're inspiring.
Simple and clever, I would do a refurb like this. Essentials, space and comfortable with a bit of quirk.
LOVE YOUR HOME!! And a lot of good tips! Thanks for sharing!!
Thumbs up for Farley! ❤️
Paul has an awesome home on wheels truck! I love the way you built it. It’s built to last. The cabinet handles with the wood to keep them closed is very original and I like better than what most people make theirs with cords! 👍
Good job!! Love the work you did on your truck and that it already came with the insulation built in. Happy travels!! 🌴
How cool! I love Pauls videos! Been following him a few months! 👍👍👍👍
Man wish you could get your hands on a workshop and build vans for people who would like to live the van lifestyle. Your van looks great.
Keep on truckin!....
Thanks
I love your creativity!
Wow, what a difference a little time and work can make. This truck is evolving into one fantastic machine. I remenber the first 'interview' you did on the truck. It was basic but funtional then, now functional and very nice. You've come along way. Congragulations.
best house van I've seen yet.
WoW Paul u have really came a long way on your rig to making it so nice! I really like it & congrats to your home on wheels & enjoy 👏💪👍✌️
Love this, sooooo happy for you.
Beautiful! ☺️
What a great story, and I love this box truck house!
Such a smart and creative design
Wow! Very interesting and inspirational! 👍 i've always said when i retire i'm gonna live in an RV type situation and travel to every state park in the country 😁 goals
We really enjoyed your video we hope you make a lot more of them very very interesting you brought a lot of things up we've not even thought of
I have the same cedar and pine panels in my motor home from my barn and my coops! Oh my gosh, we have the same rug too, lol.
Love this idea. Vans seem a little too squished, especially if two people, but this seems long term very livable. Nice job.
Cool van. Love the table good idea💡
Awesome build. Farley looks just like our Aussie Burt!
What a great project and traveling home! Super job! Congratulation!
I'm so thinking of joining you and many others in this type of lifestyle. I'd like to travel and see the country, but I'm almost 60. Am I getting too old to start now. I'm not sure, but you are inspirational ❤ It'd be cool to meet with you on our travels. I am in Canada my friend.
Love wood look on the walls nice touch to it.
Absolutely brilliant design. Simple, practical, environmentally conscientious. Good for you Paul. Enjoy your home in good health, stay safe Sorry for the passing of your freind. I've a feeling another one will come your way. Kismet. 💕😔
Great idea for the cabinet locks! Love the wood interior... I really like the cabin vibe it gives. Great storage ability. You can be proud of your work for sure. I would keep your shower as is...a wet bath is tons of problems....trying to keep everything dry after a shower. Enjoy your travels! My hubby took a box truck and converted it to a snow cone truck. He love creating it and using it to pay his way through college, finishing debt-free. If he still had it, I’m sure he would’ve enjoyed converting it to an RV. Happy trails! (Jane O.)
Alot of people who turned nose up to this lifestyle will soon be forced into it. And we were called crazy. It's sad but it took this 2020 to see what was really important. 👍love your home thats ALWAYS yours
Great video Paul, first view. Simplicity, love it Mate. From Australia
Amazing conversion from a delivery truck to a home. I'll give you an idea to avoid having your knives all over the place on a bumpy road : since you are some sort of a scavenger try to find (and you will) old large speakers. Remove the magnets and crazy glue them on the wall. They are very strong and do the trick. Keep them away from your phone and/or computer. Good luck on your futures trips amigo. Greetings from Toronto.
Awesome tour, Chris. I've been subbed to Paulie's channel for some time but have never seen such a nice tour of his rig until now. You do great work. 👍
Such a pleasant personality
Awesome Van Safe Travels Always
I love your cabinet locks
very nice home . the tube as a shower is a great idea
