Probably laziness cause no reason for a company this big to not already have the bare minimum. I dont wanna say development is easy far from it but there is no reasonable excuse for this.
Things we need in RBC 1) Custom conferences 2) Better rankings 3) Sim games(in regular retro bowl) 4) Defense 5) Exhibition(in regular retro bowl) 6) Retro Bowl 25 free 7) Regular updates These are that long especially a game sponsored by NFLPA and a Retro Bowl College 26
I whole heartedly agree, me personally I prefer to play the of retro bowl game over college (cause I'm too lazy to import irl teams into it plus I just prefer the NFL in general.) But there's so many things I've see from RB 25 that I would love to see base game, for example trading players. As far as I know the only way you can get players from a trade is if you get messaged, you can't go to the other teams like RB 25 and offer a trade and I feel it's a huge miss to not add to the game.

Now, the main reason they highlight is someone saying nobody wants to play defense? If nobody wanted to play defense, why did so many people ask if they'd add playable defense in the discord when I was there? The server couldn't even hold together a game nights section for members on occasion. Look at the other games they have released. New Star Soccer? Extremely easy to reach a point where there's nothing to do, but is built to juice as much money as possible from you. New Star Baseball? Basically just a cash grab, nothing more. Retro Bowl + RBC? Laziness to actually develop the game past a certain point. I love Retro Bowl, it still holds a big place in my heart, just because of the amount of players I remember from it, and the great times playing it, but it just screams "buy the stuff in the shop and leave", just like the other games by the company. If that discord server from the couple of years I was there showed how much effort they have, its jack squat. Its hard to say about a game I used to love, but Retro Bowl is fading out. They haven't done enough to improve the game. They haven't done enough for the fans. They haven't done enough to add new elements to the game. They haven't put enough care in the game. Now we are here, all sitting around and wondering "where did the cool stuff from the update go?" It just sucks, but honestly, the other games they made makes it feel like this should've been seen coming. If you managed to read through all of that mumbo jumbo, hopefully you share similar opinions.

Last time, I commented on one of your vids saying I took Rice all the way to number 10, and I wasn’t gonna touch the game till the 12 team…. Well a month has passed and now I created a new game with Bowling Green, 4th year now, 14th ranked…. I have now booted up a new game with Rutgers 💀
💯agree with you, Grego. I have been playing this game since its release on the Play Store in January 2020, and I am tired of the lack of care for these games. RB and RBC both have a big and passionate fan base and they don't seem to care at all. I almost never play RB or RBC in my free time the only times I play is when making videos and I assume that might be the same for you, and as for Retro Goal, I personally think that game is pretty good and has tons of potential but yet again New Star Games seems to not care bc the last update was in Dec last year, and tbh all I'm asking for is them to be more transparent with the future of their games so we can get an idea of the future and not get are hopes up for something they will never do, I would love for them to address everything but I highly doubt they will, but at the end of the day its up to New Star if they want to update the game or just let the game die out and lose there passionate fan base.
I love the game for what it is. I think the company maybe is dealing with Staffing problems in the UK that halts it from producing. But again, the Conference Realignment is a must. And can i just say, D2 teams need to be added to some FCS teams schedules.

6:26 TH-camrs who don't have a clue about game development? Bro it's the same game copied over with 3 different names. It truly isn't that hard to add in sim. I know enough about game development to know that if they can't add sim without bugs and issues that messed up.
I noticed you were mad about the restart screen (i am too) but you can get a similar effect by clicking on your ranking, clicking on schedule, and holding the top left corner.

I promise if you watched my Packers series you would know exactly why I only wanted to play defense… I think I threw 60 interceptions in like 10 games 🤷
I love playing defense on games like Madden, I hate playing Special Teams tho bc it gets repetitive. I wish Madden had an option for offense and defense only
When I first started playing retro bowl back when it was new they always said “we want it to resemble the old retro madden games” and same day day “we don’t want defense in the game because it will over complicate the games simplicity”
This update didn’t even keep status quo for the game. The game sucks the first szn after because of recruitment issues. Then scheduling issues as well too. I use Michigan and I play osu week 4 instead of week 14. They also never fixed the te routes either. They had a whole month to get the most simple update right and found a way to break the game

Idk what are you talking when I updated the game they had the 12 team playoff and like Texas and oklahoma they are in the sec they put the new teams in their new conference
@@RosSs370 there should be a screen asking you to update to the current season after the postseason. I don’t think it works if you accept a job offer with a different team.
@@stragum5683 you cannot copy the league with your team and players ratings but you can get the same logos/uniforms make a new look and team editor at the bottom it says copy team from save 1 2 3 4 5 whatever one was the original

Literally the update before this when they moved the hashes caused the TE routes to be bugged and just never thought to fix it

Another thing is if I want the updated conferences, I have to delete my saves(I think). If they keep this up, I’m deleting this game.
You just have to finish the active season to apply the updated conferences in an already existing save file
