    I think the way he did it to make the flame greater is to adjust internally if you take it apart and move the ring connected to the little red flame adjustment lever on the side. It's connected to a notched washer so lift it and reset it higher if that's your wish to have a more robust flame.

      sorry i didn't reply earlier, but if you look at another reply in my comments that I just post, maybe that'll help. Try me back if you still have problems, I'll try to think of other stuff I've learned, promptly.. haha

      Brian Fedirko oh ok well i think my button is broke now it keeps sticking

      Pocket lint & crumbs get stuck into everything over time, I would take it apart, and just blow it all out and kinda wiggle everything. You'll be surprised after you put it back together at how often doing that will solve things. (I do that with electronics all the time too)

      Just be really delicate with unscrewing/screwing the little guys so as not to strip them or their holes. These are the best lighters I've ever used, the first one being over a year and a half old, and lighting 10-20 cigars a day.. so if you can't fix yours by chance, buy another and keep this one for parts. I think it's worth it.

    How to you clean it?

    • @BrianFedirko
      @BrianFedirko  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I basically used a needle point, ran it around the edge of the round gear shaped part, and directly in the middle hole.. all where lint could/will collect. Then blow on it really hard, hopefully to dislodge any particles. Has worked now every time i've done this.

    How did you fix it I'm trying to fix mines but my torch do sent turn on when it's on low can you tell me how you did it please

    • @BrianFedirko
      @BrianFedirko  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used a dental tool, but you could use a needle to poke around the little "gear" looking piece of metal that the flame comes out... you are trying to remove lint and dust from around it... While you poke around every couple of times, blow real hard into the flame well to blow away anything you loosen.. It collects from your pocket AND from dirty butane. Buy expensive butane I've learned, as all the usual cheap brands I've been buying over the years have dirt and clog the lighter.

      +Brian Fedirko thank you so much is ronson a bad butane and do I have too get rid of the butane that's in the lighter now

    • @BrianFedirko
      @BrianFedirko  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ronson is the worst.. I did a shoot out here, and it failed miserably. I'm now using something called Power (super refined 5x) that is sold in smoke shops for people using it for edible and inhale type extracts ... They advertise that it's clean, & even have a cleaner 7x that I'm going to use from now on.. it really made a difference.
      I'm not trying to sell anybody on this one, and if you find something "better" I'd love to hear about it.
      To remove the butane now, just push the little metal tube top at the bottom of the lighter with something small & strong enough to push it down and expel it all until the pressure is gone. It helps sometime to just do this practice anyway from time to time I've found.

      On mine the flame looks like a cig lighter . fill up but same thing . í used the×5 now I'm on ×14.

      @@BrianFedirko 100% correct on your comment. Never use Ronson for a jet flame. Only pure. Or the best. It’s worth the extra $3 to have a way better torch that isn’t broken.

      yep, the write up explains it. Most people don't know a lighter seems dead or out of fluid when it's actually got pocket lint blocking the nozzle. I don't have the camera needed to observe that. sorry.
