First time I heard this song... I was driving on Sunset boulevard in the twilight... I felt so liberated by the scene and the song... this instantly become my favorite Doves song

Eric Clapton once said that there is always a great guitarist in every audience. There is also great bands in every nation, and these guys are no exception. Raw talent is very hard to find these days, but these guys are clearly a league ahead of alot of mainstream acts. Good on ya guys, keep the music flowin...
This is a new find to me today. My friend shared them with me saying you have to hear these guys. I'm glad he did..just wow..not much else I can say besides Wow...glad I found them now.

20/10 wow quel beau morceau ... une des plus belle de leurs repertoire ... c’est alucinant ... sa me donne des frisson a chaque fois que je l’entend ... et la captation est tres bonne aussi ... wow !
I remember rushing to the store to buy Lost Souls after hearing "Catch the Sun" on the radio for the first time, and have gotten every album since. I love this band's songs and sound. I still don't think they've topped Lost Souls, though. I have to admit, it's nice to hear one of their songs placed somewhere. Always makes me smile. And this version should TOTALLY be a B-side somewhere!

Awesome song! Bought the album thanks to some great advice, and I LOVE it! I like this acoustic version as well;) Never heard any sound like it - amazing. They should be more publicized in the states...people here would really enjoy this.

@xiiiFyre I know, ive been a fan for years but didnt even know until i went to see them in sheffield a couple of years ago. its a right hand guitar played left, but still strung as a right. He plays bass like it too. weird. I tried it with my mates left handed and it was like learning all over again
i meant the first 20 seconds sounded like it. then i realized the singer's voice sounded a bit deeper than kensrue's. i've got vheissu on loop play on my computer, and the musical style between that album ad this sing is kind of similar.
That dude is a lefty guitar player, but he's just taken a right handed one and thrown it over, hasn't even changed the strings round... that must be insanely hard to play like that, even Hendrix had his strings the right way round.
Anyone realise the singer was playing a 12 string guitar upside down without changing the strings around becaue he is left handed. That is not an easy thing to do. Awesome song though!!!
When both Columbus and Tallahassee finally get along with Wichita and Little Rock for the first time and they travel to Los Angeles to look for Murray's mansion.
@Mr13born79 Well you can't really just swap left to right handed. It involves completely different hand-eye coordination. If he did learn to play like that I'd be surprised, it would make reading tabs backwards as well.
@StuRaz well...there's a lot more right handed guitars out there. he probably just picked one up when he started learning and played it left handed without re-stringing it. Who knows... maybe they swap instruments between themselves--the righties and lefties--no time to restring?? never watched them live before seeing this vid.
