I love that Doves are playing for their lives to match the epic-ness of the choir, and they do!
The choir give Firesuite a whole new dimension. It was already a moody classic but this is fantastic.
getting a live choir to act as if it were a sample.... pure class on everyone's part

I'm glad Doves are and always have been producing some of the most healing epically euphoric tunes of my generation....

Be sure to check out the other tracks from this gig on my channel (I don't believe they're available anywhere else). Doves were a great group and very under-appreciated. I was around for much of the rehearsals on this project which were all done to backing tracks on CD. It was only in the last two weeks before the gig that the choir actually met the band! A fabulous one-off and I'm glad you like some of the stuff that came out of it. Thanks for watching!

WOW. I have loved Doves since we saw them open for Oasis at Wembley (Doves Kicked Oasis butt that day) - but I had never even heard of this, amazing take and does nothing but add to it.
it would be good to see that happen this track brought tears of joy to how good this is

The original Firesiur sounds like a pleading call (in the most beautiful way), and this version is like the hopeful answer to that call, does anyone else hear that too?

They used the same choir at the GMEX in mancester for there home coming gig it was amazing. Theres a few vids on yt from that gig well worth a look.

If you have the latest RealPlayer you will have the option to 'Download This Video' (make sure you have the HD version currently being viewed). Once downloaded you can use QuicktimePro to export the audio only then use Nero or similar to burn to CD. There are other methods but that's the one I use... Regards, Ivor

Na not feeling it sorry. The choir drowns out the band and it’s like they’re playing two different songs. Sometimes it works but that didn’t IMO (firesuite)
