- Normal/Rare D/D is an advantage deck designed specifically for the N/R Rarity festival, which uses Dark Contract with the Witch and Dark Contract with the Swamp King to create a resource loop. Also, it can make D/D/D Super Doom King Bright Armageddon, which is like unstoppable in this format.

N/R rarity festival has been a blast, just the fact my opponent can't Ash me makes me wish they made this one a permanent game mode, or bring it back eventually

A good thing to note: D/D Ark's floating effect triggers on destruction no matter where it is, so popping it in the scale triggers it

N/r festival was so good for spotlighting budget builds and learning new decks
This event is great. Red-eyes-less red-eyes control is goofy and fun
I will wait for other Budget Builds. Your Crusadia OTK brings me to Platinum 3, and your Megalith has become my favorite deck now and I play with it a lot.

Since you talked up the Bright Armageddon so much I feel the need to point out the rank 12: Seven Deadly Sins which can non targeting banish all of your opponents special summoned monsters. Those silly gear decks can't pop off his ability the turn they play him but in my Machina deck with a little help from the level 4 infinitrack level modulator certainly can. An instant rank 12 ready to go from a level 4 and 8. Man I love this event, it makes me want to add the spider package to my real deck, but there just isn't space.
I play D/D in the regular master duel format and all the hype around metlafoes made it seem like D/D was not worth playing but thanks for encouraging me to give it a try :D

A neat thing to know: the odd eyes combo metalfoes likes to perform for a free omni-negate can also be done by the N/R version of D/D with enough setup.

This is a pretty cool take on D/D just as Witch control with a resource loop. Love it!
a suggestion: replace number 76 with the Dark Armed XYZ. 2 pop and 100 more attack.
But if you decide between these two, I still would play 76 over Dark Armed. Yeah, it can't pop cards but therefore it has a good unique protection effect and can also interrupt some gy plays, which I think is overall better

Wasn't feeling particularly interested in master duel recently, but I gave this deck a shot for the festival and it was a lot of fun!
I'm definitely gonna try this!
UPDATE: I tried it, it's alright, most of the time it's D'arc turbo / witch control with the occasional level 10 if you're lucky enough to draw night howling. It is hilarious when they watch your life points go beyond ridiculous heights and you keep popping their stuff though.

I like the N/R D/D deck's vibe. It's a lot more chill than it's high rarity counterpart. A tad more based, even.
Personally, while I do like Ark and Evil, I toyed around with Nikola and Doom King Armageddon in those slots; Nikola being another high scale but also a L6 to give Wave High King access and Doom King acting as a Main Deck boss and giving access to Dark Armageddon while also being another D/D/D name for Purple Armageddon. Also for any deck that uses any Pend monsters I usually try to shove Absolute and Vortex in because it's absurd that those cards are legal here.

I tried this out for a bit last night and this morning. It's a simple but effective beatdown with D'Arc I find ha ha.
I know you said the extra deck links are all flex spots, but I figured I would put a word in for one of the situationally strongest ones: Geonator Transverser. It’s really good against people who just want to put their monster in the middle. You can steal a Timelord and turn the burn/board clear against your opponent, you can snag a Seven Sins and banish the opponent’s board (or just go for lethal), things like that. I’m a big fan, it has won me games I had no business winning.
If you want to play around Geonator, put your monsters either directly below the extra monster zones, in the EMZs, or in the far right zone. The ones under the EMZs will be vulnerable to Imduk (in pendulum decks with normal monsters), but the far right zone is safe from everything.
Wish there were footage of a duel so I could study it

Its interesting how much is viable in this format. Been playing a subterror deck with some good results. Sub. Ultramafus with Sub. Final Battle usually disrupts the enemys plans enough to keep them from getting big monsters on the field.
There are some nice Level 8 Synchros, e.g. the Supreme King version of Clear Wing
Perfection.
I really recommend the psi reflector engine and jack in the hand. That way, you can search any of your level 1s (slime, kepler, psi reflector or lamia if you run that) and depending on what they choose you can get a free generic synchro (I personally like enlightenment paladin or psy-framelord zeta) or kepler which can then search Swamp King or witch. Also, if you run loads of pendulums you should run igknight reload, which is a magical mallet for pends but it's also card neutral
2-brick engine for a 2700 vanilla normal summon? No thanks.
@@Terrantular it's n/r format, if you want consistency you shouldn't be playing. Also how is zeta a vanilla, it can banish on a quick effect, so it outs some good stuff

I'm so torn on Danger Mekk-Bears. I really like Mekk-Knights, but Dangers and Ursartics are so violently terrible (not just for this format, just in general) that I can't morally ask you to play them.

Hey Joe, I fiddled with Cyber dragons before the N/R event, they have field nukes with the fusions, Eltanin, DNA trap and such, I don't know if they are actually good but I'm sure you'd be able to see if they can work, the main reason I tried them was cause of the light machine kaiju, which you can fusion off with your chimera, making it an out to pretty much anything AND a threat
I'm sure you can make a better version of it and maybe, just maybe, you'll have a little fun
After commenting I went into the game and tried it, I'm 5-0 right now, searching Kaijus and then tributing them is pretty good in this format
Sounds like a good idea, but unfortunately the whole community seems burnt out on N/R format, so I probably won't be doing any more profiles anytime soon. Maybe a Budget Build in the future.

Not gonna lie, day 1 of master duel in january I basically blasted through silver on the back of nobody in silver having read gilgamesh and it floating into the untargetable/indestructible big bungus d/d/ds from the extra deck. they're highly underrated monsters imo.
Idk man, I played a very bad synchro deck and got to plat with like an 80% wr, I don't think those first days were a metric for anything
But with what can I replace those extra deck cards Mr. Leg? You didn't Tell me which ones are good!!1!1!
To be fair the fact that cards requiring 2 D's using 3Ds count because the first two Ds in their name should be the same for each.

So I didn't mention it, but dark contact with the witch also gives all fiends 1000 atk during the opponents turn, so dark planet can't hit over bright Armageddon if you have it lol

Ursartics special summon themselves by tributing one other lv7 or higher as a quickie there is 2 lv 7 who's effects activate when summoned and 3 lv 8 who's effects only trigger when another is on field. They are bad even in N/R but since you can summon them on your opponents first turn you can put bodies on the field that your opponent can't attack. I mixed them with Marincess. It's fun.

Why it's call budget build? It N and R ....
He has a series in which he does N/R decks, it so happens that there's an event like that now, but the idea is that you probably can make these with the scraps you have instead of spending 10 to 20k gems to make the deck, like any other standard build
