Bro you saved me from playing the Megalith deck, and I have to thank you for that. I just was not having fun play testing it. But I've ALWAYS thought the gadget engine was dope, and already knowing how to play it made the learning curve for this deck practically non-existent.
I had my doubts at first after losing my initial three matches, but then I pretty much steamrolled my way to 10000 points, where the game stops rewarding participation with gems, in a little under three hours.
It's really difficult for most players to deal with that Dragublion combo. And even players that seem to read my cards rarely seem to realize Number 92 can wipe their backrow during the end phase.
The only changes I made were playing MST and Forbidden Chalice at 3 and Compulsory Evacuation Device and E.M.R at 2.
And I could see removing Fists of the Tenyi or Moon Mirror Shield. I only resolved the special summon off Fists of the Unrivaled Tenyi once, and unfortunately during a game I was already winning. And as good as Moon Mirror Shield can be, at one copy there was just never an occasion where I had a particularly impactful target for it.
But yeah, by giving me this list you've helped continue the trend of my favorite part of Master Duel being the events, so major props dude.

you should also try 3x Heavy Forward which can search for Infinitrack Anchor Drill and Lightning Vortex to clear monsters
Went 20 and 3 with this deck. Summoning heart earth, 93, and seven deadly sins. Deck was busted

I play a pure Infinitrack, with two trains since I already use it in ranked. Just to get out Seven Sins and Pain Gainer.
The archetype is hard to brick with and has easy board wipes with Sins, Digorzhak and Heavy Freight Train Derricrane, which gives you an extra backrow pop for using Sins’ effect.
I seldom even go into Draglubion and Heart-heartH.

Have you considered going to 42 or 45 (5th Gadget) for consistency issues? Those gadgets do clog your hands in a 40 card deck
I run this as well...super high win rate so far..we shall see what happens as the decks keep evolving lol
I started the event with a cyber dark deck, but it didn't go well it was way to bricky... Then i switched to dinamist and i very satisfied with it, also the amount of deck variaty in the event is a breeze of fresh air.

I built an Ancient Gear/Gadget Infinitrack deck over the weekend for this event. Using Ancient Gear Golem + Infinitrack Anchor Drill gives you a rank 12 Number 77: The Seven Sins with 4k attack and an effect that banishes your opponent's special summoned monsters. This event has been fun so far

Faced a couple of these today. Didn’t really struggle at all. Lol
This deck is only good if you drop some of the traps and gadgets for trains. Also use the level 2 infinitrack monster. It has the same effect as the lvl 4 drill card, but it’s lvl 2 and will help you turbo into your rank 12 play easier. Use pain gainer and Seven sins xyz monsters. These cards give you a way to almost always out your opponents boards. If
U could run some generic link monsters instead of cards like that butterfly thing
Mine has a mixture of OG... Remember Dimensional Gadgets? Yes... Mixed Banishers and D Fissures with Shrinks and the Paleozoic Traps to replace D Prison and Rising Energy. 17-1 so far with the only loss to a Cauldron burn deck with stall.
Pick your poison coz you need what you feel is best for your dueling style. Infinitracks, Ancient Warrior, Doomcalibur, MST, Chalice, Comp Evac, Bottomless, Flood Trap... Too many options, but must limit to 45 max. Just like the good ol' original OCG.
Is it me or are some cards not in the mobile version ?
I’ve been getting mega tilted by yosenju decks running kaijus’ with that one monster that can bounce a face up monster which is always the kaiju. But coming from duel links wall of d is just a mega tilter
I will say it's nice I haven't lost to it seen it about 6 times tho, I'm running prank kids kozmos admancipator and it's so easy haven't had a issue with any of these
What about cursed seal of the forbidden spell so basically if my opponent has 3 Typhoons I can activate the trap card when he activates his typhoon and for the rest of the duel he can’t use that spell anymore
He can’t use spells with that name anymore
It's not that good because you need to discard a spell and most of the cards in your hand will be gadgets. I play a more control-focused build with powerful traps like dinomischus, phoenix wing wind blast and speedroid menko. If you want to play a discard-focused build you can try those traps.
finished the event with tri danger no issues
I've been seeing a lot of success with Phantasm Spiral with hand destruction and a heavy Paleo engine.

@@huskerdee1431 i mean you can brick quite a lot without all the sr/ur drawing cards you usually splash in, so it is understandable, but so far it works great for me as a nr deck and i finally have an excuse to play the spiral dragon lol

Im still trying to figure out why everyone is playing 3 of each gadget. Is the third coming up for you because Ive been playing this deck since 2010 and the third very rarely ever comes up.
hand advantage is good and you want to start the advantage train early-on.
@@AyuNico I understand that, as Ive said Ive been playing the game competitively since 2010. 6 of any card is the optimal you want to play statistically to open with said card. Two of each gadget is six. And you never need the third of any particular one. You should cut it down to two and try it. Ill bet youll find yourself not needing the third and opening at least one plenty of times and if not then youll draw in the few turns later. Youre not totally reliant on them so youll be fine starting off with anything else and getting them later if that happens which doesnt happen often
@@machinayrequiem8596 I'm actually reliant on starting with a gadget because I want a card in hand to use for my trap discards that can then be revived with oasis or used for boot up extension. We're not in 2006 anymore, the format isn't slow enough that you will get into this situation and you would rather have another body that can become into a malevolent sin or draglubion or just a link monster.
@@AyuNico Oh, I see you deck now. Your deck is a bit different than mine. You do need more gadgets for those other cards.
Yeah, I know were not in 06, but this NR event is a slower format and plays very similar. Im turboing out Rank 4s and rank 8s and thats a huge reason Im not playing those traps and relying on Gadgets. Their only use is to be special summoned from Plat/Silver Gadet, Tin Goldfish, or Anchor Drill. Theyre only extra fodder for bodies if I draw them that replace themselves. Im not relying on them at all whatsoever. I built my deck to where they are supplementary only and nothing relys on them because playing that way makes your deck even slower and brickier.
I made this deck have not lost ever since and getting a bunch of gems using it 😅

Instead of Forbidden Chalice, Have you considered running "My body as a shield"? It has been a solid option for me so far
I just think chalice is more flexible and has more generic use. Also they don't fill the same slot... chalice is kind of a removal and interruption, a battletrap too. My body as a shield doesnt interrupt ur opponent building a board or breaks the enemy board, instead it protects yours

This deck absolutely needs trains. You need to be able to turbo into rank 11 and rank 12 monsters. Pain gainer and seven sins are great board wipes.

@@johnmarkbeberino1732 lol it’s true draco. I run d fissure, it’s basically auto win against these combo decks because they need the GY. Also monarch’s erupt is 👌
@@johnmarkbeberino1732 I also run fog blade so against this deck I can stall the 4k spider until I draw a true Draco trap. I also have raiza the mega monarch for cards that can’t be destroyed but can be returned to the deck

Cyber dragon absolutely shits on this deck with fortress. You can build a really fun deck with cyber dragon zwei, and veir, easily make nova or rank 4s, cyber network, jizakiru (banish a jizakiru, then special summon it to your field with network), cyber eltanin to fill up the banish pile for network, and it can also get Herz into the grave and then also a load of good stuff spells/traps. Cyber dragons are also really good with kaijus in this meta with fortress dragon in general. The only deck I've lost to with it was metalfoes and I misplayed failing to prevent them summoning vortex dragon and I couldn't out it afterwards.
I strongly disagree... I beat it over and over and over... lost once bcoz I had to leave. I find Megalith to be my nightmare; I run a custom Red-Eyes, hand made!
they should ban megalith, it takes the fun away. Its basically like playing against a meta deck with vanilla cards
Well you disagree cause you play a deck that's a good match up against it...but overall against most decks everyone's putting this top 3 with like metalfoes

@@solemnyugioh sorry dude you're actually right, I was super tilted because this deck has such a hard time against decks with monsters immune to battle damage and/or effects. I couldn't come up with a better deck for my life.
