First round of the 1996 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix Season. Luca Cadalora scores victory in his first race with the Kanemoto Honda team, while Mick Doohan struggles with a chunked tyre on his way to 5th place. This race was red-flagged after 10 laps due to rainfall and was restarted over the remaining race-distance. The final results were decided by combining the results of the first-half of the race with the second-half of the race.
NOTE: I only have the second-half of this race, as the first-half was not televised by Channel Nine.

an unforgettable memory surrounded by shah alam. also known as the 3 mile circuit once upon a time. unfortunately this circuit is gone. if it was still there it would be as lively as it used to be.

I’ve watched now loads of the videos you’ve uploaded and there brilliant, so thanks so much for your efforts...takes me back to the days as a spotty teen when me and my mates would watch the GP racing in the mornings then go out and try recreate the races on our clapped out tzr’s and nsr’s 125s in the afternoon...then usually end up in hedge by evening!
