Late comment but, and I might of just missed it. When you are doing your special attack, use the ability once the chain sword starts doing tick dmg for nutty dmg,not prior to the hit
Hey, great gameplay. I wanted to ask if you felt the critical talents were working well with the current setup? I think a slight tinker could get you some crazy positive results! I was watching for your crit stacking talent up time, and it looked like you could get more out of it and Chastise the heretic far more! Good news, quick 5% crit on perk, and maybe shred instead of rampage, and you'll be critting for the Golden Throne! If you disagree totally fair!Either way, keep up thy labors kin!
I actually highly recommend using the blessing 'bloodletting' i think its called. Makes your next hit after a reved kill a guaranteed crit. Use with either Wrath or Rampage and you can spam reved light attacks into hordes for practically constant up time on the ult. Works very well with this setup shown or with a Martyrdom keystone. Very 'spammy' however so use as you like.
i've been doing this with martyr and it feels good for bosses, but you have to be more careful in hordes since you are squishier without the crit 50% toughness DR procing all the time and bleed not procing as much (doesnt matter on bosses as much)
I prefer Wrath as it allows you to build up cleave stacks on packs of elites without having to first cleave through trash. Both work absolutely fine but for the niche times when a sudden wall of Maulers spawn its good to be able to build cleave on them just by hitting one or two times. I also played this on a similar set up but with Martyrdom and both its upgrades as the keystone, was incredibly strong but has the usual downside of playing on the edge of death alot. Martyrdom is much better to use now with the changes to fire damage, recommended for when playing with a 4 man group.
@@ginjaBRETTman Do you feel you need the extra cleave purely for the stagger? The XV has a target cap of 4 so even with infinite cleave you never do damage to more than 4 targets, so from a pure killing perspective Shred would be the stronger option, but I hear a lot of people say they use Wrath purely for stagger on elite packs.
@@Ultragravy Not experimented with it a huge amount, but yes the stagger for elite packs, and to also enable you to hit those 4 targets in the first place can be really nice. If you time it right you can even stun lock packs of ragers if you attack them before they gain hyperarmour during their combos.
Dealing with ragers as a zealot is so awkwardly difficult, like sure i can one shot a boss with 50k hp, but a naked rager can face tank just about anything??
Evis has some nice tech for dealing with them at least. Can stagger them with reved hits and if you light attack them when they arent in their combo you can keep them perma stunned. Can also one shot them with an ulted heavy. Awkward for sure but they have to have a counter somewhere for Zealots slaughter sprees.
they go down with a single headshot with a blessed blade backstep and throw repeat til all dead First hit into charge for a second hit is also a sure way to kill them without taking damage (since charge gives damage invuln)
Not just for zealot, I'll be in Scrier's Gaze with 10+ stacks from killing chaff in a horde and suddenly a rager pops up gets his combo going then I go from full health to none in just a few seconds. So damn annoying...
Best to just mag dump them because it truly is a gamble if you can stagger them in melee combat or not it just depends on how they're feeling at the moment it seems

I do that all the time for my zealot 💯🤟🏾

@ginjaBRETTman I'll give it a run, Bloodletting sounds more consistent than Shred, dropping 5 stacks on a whiff feels bad hah. Thanks for the advice!
Why wrath over savage sweep and Will a martyrdom build work as well or any particular reason for crit build? Thanks in advance!

nice run !
Benny Harvey RIP 🙏Miss ya big man
All this time I was thinking aim at the heads XD
How do you do consistent horizontal slashes?
I left click... This model of Evis has only horizontal light attacks.
It would be cool to play as Khorne's berserker... 😢
Considering some of the voicelines we have as Zealot, he is pretty much one already.
Heathbars booooo 😂
Youd be dead without them lad, show some respect for my cheats!
Honestly health bars should be in base game
@@snagvisonzz5639yeah for elites and specs but not for chaff units that'd be too much
