Total solar eclipse wows people from Mexico to Newfoundland

The moon's shadow passed from southwestern Mexico all the way to Newfoundland, creating a total solar eclipse for tens of millions of people. While clouds threatened to steal the moment in prime viewing spot Niagara Falls, clear skies prevailed, allowing the show to go on.
