What I love about tennis is the story a match tells. That's actually why the scoring system is so great, contrary to what others may think. Each game is a paragraph, each set a chapter. I say this because often times, highlight videos don't tell the story of the match, only some half-assed cliff notes. But not your videos, you do such a great job of telling the story of the match through your videos. It's sometime no other tennis highlight channel does, it's really quite unique. Thank you for the effort you put into your videos.
Thank you so much, Joshua! I really appreciate it the kind words buddy. I'm so glad you like the intro part since it's always the hardest thing to do :)

He's most probably not 5'7", as many discussions have shown. It's a known fact that the official ATP data are very often bogus, plus studies prove that men often lie about their height. 5'7" is 170 cm, and 170 cm is the most common, cliched height that many short men, including famous leaders in the world, report as their height, even if they're under 170 cm, as 170 cm is the psychological boudary, anything less is "really short".
@@J.-M. There are pictures of him standing next to Cibulkova. Cibulkova is 5'3" and he's noticeably taller than her, so he can't be 5'3". I'd say 5'7" is about right.
Isners serve was difficult to defend mostly because of his height. He was able to attack from angles that were unusual and very hard to defend. Similar to Randy Johnson pitching in baseball.
Thanks so much Wivo! I really enjoyed this one. What a grind that match was, especially between to very unique opponents. John was really doing well with that serve and volley. Diego was doing a superb job with his passing shots. Not to mention that beautiful behind the back winner! Never stop man.❤

@@yaromendy8346 pretty much. obviously the rest of his game had to be decent, but he won so many free points from serve and volley that he could still take matches with a weaker ground game.
Diego could have won this if he put more pressure on himself to break Isner. He also made some unforced errors at crucial times which caused a shift in momentum in Isner’s thinking; changing Isner’s mindset into a more positive one during the game causing him to win service games which he could have potentially lost, resulting in a break of his service. This match underscores the importance of the mindset of top players like Rafael Nadal who put immense pressure on themselves to win every single point when their opponent is serving from the starting of the match; till the end when playing against tennis players from the taller end of the height spectrum in the sport of tennis like John Isner and Milios Raonic who are also often top servers in the sport.
nice clickbait thumbnail bro! Isner is 6'10" Schwartzman is 5'5" therefore, you both over exaggerated Isner's height and under exaggerated Schwartzman's height. Nice job!
Wait, I'm confused. 7:50 - how are they only playing with 4 balls? Playing with only 4 balls is going to change how quickly they wear before the new balls come out. That's going to give the counter puncher an advantage over the big server. Isner is correct - you're supposed to have six balls in rotation, so what is the umpire talking about?
Damn crazy snowflakes lmao. He was making a joke. Anyone who watches tennis knows how tall Schwartzman is since it’s mentioned in every damn match he’s in. Get over yourself. If you got baited in, it’s your fault for not knowing tennis.
I like your videos and they really are enjoyable. However I didn't like the fact that you tried to click bait exaggerating Diego's height in the thumbnail.
It was really the line judge. That’s why there is the challenge system. Also, the reason why he had them replay the point (not giving the point to shwar) was because the line judge called it out before Isner hit the ball. Yes it was very close to the time isner hit it, but out of principle the umpire had to give benefit of the doubt. Hope that clarifies things

They should hire Wivo to edit the Grandslam highlights. RG and Wimbledonare wayy too short this year.

It doesn't matter which one it is since both hights are given in obsolet, unintelligible units.

they did my boy schwatzman dirty by calllin him 5 2
Because they feel insecure about themselves.
They should have just called him Midget 😅

Isner had a great serve that carried him through out his career. He could've won a lot more if he would've brought something more to the table.
He reached top 10 and won a master only with his serve?
Yes, just a serve and nothing else 🙄

5’7 in shoes
Great talent!
In the grand scheme, Goliath will always be the dominant. David did not have a lethal sling shot this time. 😅
Disliked because of clickbait. He is 5'7, not 5'2. The content was great. However I cannot tolerate liars in my life. Unsubscribed and blocked.

Isner playing Schwartzman is not a bizzare match lol

If Isner had good ground strokes he would of won many slams
If Isner had had Schwartzman's serve he wouldn't have even been in the top 100
