Whoa this is great and the stories behind it. My collection has really grown more then I wanted myself and now that it’s lake season I got obsessed with boats.
That’s a lot of cool stuff, brother I have about 21 all together and have sold quite a few already, it becomes an expensive hobby if one has no self control most parts are not too expensive what becomes expensive is doing so many upgrades and mods. But it is a cool and relaxing hobby I enjoy working on them probably more than running them. Great collection. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks! These little builds are like death by a thousand cuts! Upgrades are $10-20 a piece, which is easy to rationalize, but then you order four or five upgrades at a time, over and over, and pretty soon you’re broke 🤣

you should do a build where you try to squeeze as much performance out of an scx24 while only using the STOCK tires. that would be super cool! love the content, keep up the hard work!

Great Collection, I love to learn about them & the upgrades ect. I started with a Deadbolt & now have many good upgrades in it, many on the way. I feel Axial & Traxxis are the brands for me, for now. Very nice informative Videos. Thanks!!
Man my son since he was able to want to be a TH-camr like Izzy and Ryan toys! I always wanted to get into rc cars and have here and there . Recently my buddy gave me a old hoss, still running great and I’m starting to upgrade. Saw this channel from other videos and let me tell u I’m comming for u lol! You inspired me to get my collection up and make my son happy to be on TH-cam I don’t know we’re to start but I wana get there. Great videos and info!

I just recently was on facebook marketplace and I saw a guy wanting to trade his SCX10 Jeep for another crawler and I had a highly built TRX4M that you influenced me to buy! I loved the small scale crawlers but after I while I got bored of it and wanted to go to 1/10 scale. Said goodbye to my first ever RC crawler and said hello to my new to me SCX10. And I will never go back. The big scale is just so much more fun and capable in my opinion. I can’t wait to see the videos you make on 1/10th scale!
The 1/10's are amazing for sure. I enjoy tinkering on the smaller scales more, but I enjoy driving the 1/10's. The capability is amazing.
@@CapeCrawlers that’s very true. I miss tinkering on my tiny car because it seemed so much more simpler compared to my 1/10th scale. It also was way cheaper. On the second day of picking up my 1/10th scale I went to my hobby shop and spent $280 on some links, servo, and brass…😂

There's one thing I can' say man just be grateful to God that you have your little family and that you guys or really enjoying life we all need to be grateful for one another and we have a spouse in our life my God she is fair to us and loves us and we need to be fair to her and love her so very deeply and dearly there's only one time that you live on earth may God bless us all great video Adam it just wrecked my heart because to see this support your wife gives you and Ike that's fine you your wife your son get to have it just all around being a family I don't know why I took that away from it but I did there's a lot of broken people on this Earth to do and go through hell every day and your story and truly inspired them

I like the SCX6 Honcho a lot! It's just so expensive. We'll see when Black Friday rolls around. Or if they offer it in a Gladiator, then I'm toast

I'm looking at the D1RC Camel Trophy Defender 1/10 as my ultimate. It's not cheap or popular in the US, but probably the highest detailed, performing truck I have seen for the money. It's almost too pretty to even want to risk rolling or scratching the decals, but I suggest checking out some of the driving videos. Absolutely beautiful and a piece of history.

That's an awesome collection, you did well with the utb18 its impressive. i almost bought my first 1/10 crawler but i ended up getting a basher for a change and i regret it, that pos is always broken (arrma big rock v3).. i'm going to sell it and just go back to what i really like.
Thanks Frank! I like the capra a lot. If I was to do it all over again, I would skip the brushless motor conversion. Otherwise it's been nothing but fun.
Yeah love my Max smashers, I just got the black one the other day I bought the body kit the black really looks awesome it’s not glossy black same finish is the blue one but black. I took a sharpie to all of my body clips instead of Seeing the white clips from the side blinds in much better

Thats a lot, and i thought i am going crazy with my hobby stuff collections. Wonder how you find the time for it. (Also having a child and a job that allows you to afford all that stuff.)
Thankfully my son loves it as well, so it’s something we do together. But to make the channel work, I get up early and stay up late. It’s a grind sometimes, but it’s worth it!
I can relate. With what I’ve spent on my TRX-4M High Trail and what I want to spend on an AX24, I could buy the TRX-4 K10 High Trail I also want. Just harder to pull the trigger on the TRX-4.
Well I might not be doing a warthog build after watching this video and definitely getting my scx24 now they just looks like a lot of fun and smaller will fit my indoor course I started building just a little to small for the trx4m I’m new to all of this and love it

@@CapeCrawlers Yeah those deals are so tempting. It’s put this and other RC’s in the hands of people that would have never got one. So it’s a win-win for horizon hobby also. Brings return customers. My brother and I grabbed some of the Atlas 6x6’s. Those are a ton of fun also. Really enjoyed this video of your whole fleet of crawlers also.

I do! Not so much lately now that the construction on the Sagamore bridge has made leaving the cape nearly impossible. But once that clears up we'll be at Wreckless pretty often.

Thanks for the Tour around your garage! Since you know all the riggs first hand I would like to aske you for your recomendation. I recently got a TRX4m Defender. My first 1/18 crawler. Here in Germany I can bye a Fire Horse for 89€ and im Thinking of getting one to be able to drive with friends ore Kids visiting. Now to the question. Compared to the trx4m ist the fire horse still a fun rigg ore would it feel like rubish not being able to follow the defender on the Trail? The FMS Fj Cruiser ist also quite cheep her (99€). If this two options dont make sence im thinking of getting the new K5 Blazer ore the Rockvan. But both actualy over my price Range just for a "visit-Car" for Kids. Thanks again for your Videos and Comparrissons. And also showing the modificationd that are posible. Love youre style of demonstration. Realy layed back, calm an fun to watch!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoy the content. The Fire Horse is a good backup rig. It is slower (significantly) than the stock TRX4M and not as capable, although not much less capable stock. So if you were rock crawling and going slow, the Fire Horse would hold it's own against the TRX4M. But if you were trail driving, the M will dust it. It would be the same for the FJ cruiser. The big advantage of the K5 is that it utilizes the two speed transmission, making it fast on the trails and a capable crawler. Hope that helps!

I dislike the colored plastic hard bodies. The exception being the candy apple red Bronco. That one is pretty rad. 12 years so ago I spent lots of money on rc stuff. Put it in storage for 10 years. Opened stuff up yesterday and found a new 1/24 scale Losi mini crawler. A new Losi Mini Lst2 and a new 1/16 scale E Revo. Very fun. Had forgotten what I had. You don't have too many rigs for a RC nut. It is unusual to have so many of the same model though. Understandable for you

Which scx24, fcx24, ax24 chassis would you say is the best to build off of?
Gladiator, Jlu, C10, Bronco, Deadbolt, K5 Blazer, etc?
I think the C10 or deadbolt. Probably the deadbolt if I had to choose one. With very little mods it becomes so capable

Yeah I drive a jeep wrangler Rubicon. So I got the scx24 jl a month ago watched your budget build pretty much did the same thing. Only I opted for a bigger motor instead of the stuff you bought on etsy. Yeah I want the 1/10 scale wrangler so bad. But I am currently in the process of purchasing a HPI Savage flux (insane monster truck😅) from my brother.

@Cape Crawlers thanks. Yeah I've been into hobby grade bash rcs for about 9 years now and the scx24 is my first rock Crawler. It's so fun to upgrade. So many aftermarket parts. I am going to throw some aluminum steering links and shocks in it delivery tomorrow. Also need to vent the tires. All will be done tomorrow. Always wanted a Savage tho. I have erevo Brushless and a Brushless rustler.

My scx24 gladiator is still my favorite. I have the fully built one and a lightly modified scale rig and love them both!

Is the scx24 deadbolt the same as the C10 apart from the different body?
The chassis and linkage is different. It's got a shorter front end and longer rear.
Do you think I could do a four wheel steering mod to the C10 with a gladiator front axle?

As far as performance goes? Probably my orange comp build. I think it's the best all-around performer.

I got that same buggy but I have the mofo bam motor in it and I'm telling you right now that they will literally tear the tires off the rims if you're not careful it will shattered everything it will not stop I think it's a absolute monster I don't think it knows when to stop also I have aluminum axles lot of brass in the front end only thing it needs done is a different set up when it comes to the skid plate links and all I'm waiting on somebody to come up with something
