    What an amazing adventure, I just got back from Colorado last week for my first out west adventure hunting & camping and man what a beautiful place it is. Really enjoying y’all’s videos, keep up the great work! I really wished I could have done more videoing on my trip but I was just so wrapped up in the moment and focused on the hunt, maybe next trip lol..

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We absolutely love CO. It’s my wife’s favorite. I love it and Utah too. So many amazing landscapes. We can’t wait to get back. How did the hunt turn out? Thank for checking out another video and commenting.

    • @swampstalkeroutdoors
      @swampstalkeroutdoors 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I want to checkout Utah as well someday but the hunt turned out amazing! I got to check off a bunch of first on my bucket list and brought home a cooler full of meat lol.. 1 mule deer, 1 goose, 2 different species of ducks and a few trout. Next time I will be targeting an elk and pronghorn, although we did hunt elk this trip but just couldn’t seal the deal. Although we didn’t get an elk I gained a ton of knowledge and lost 14# in the process not to mention I got a first hand look at what I need to do to prepare myself for the next time. I was very fortunate to have mild weather this year so we was able to backpack up into the mountains to hunt elk when it’s never even considered this late In the year. I don’t consider myself a trophy hunter so being so allowed me the time to experience so many things and make so many memories on one trip, not to mention several great meals for myself and my family. Just don’t get no better than that 😉

    Aint't Colorado a spectacular place to visit, especially for 4WD exploring in the backcountry? Tincup Pass brought back some great memories. Good job with the rock crawling on Taylor Pass. Been doing trips to the Colorado Rockies from the southeast since about 2008 in my FJC and still can't get enough of it. Really enjoyed your impressions of the Colorado Rockies! Your drone work blows me away! Now if I can only figure out how to improve my drone skills. Thanks for a great tour!

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes!!! Colorado is absolutely amazing! I hadn’t been since I was a small child and my wife had never been, and we were blown away by the enormity and expanse of it. Thank you for the compliment on Taylor Pass. It was up until that point the most technical trail either of us had ever been on. But boy was it worth it. We loved how the trail was in the creek for almost 1/2 a mile at one point. So fun for this FL couple. Thanks again for commenting, subbing, and watching.

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh by the way thanks for complimenting the drone work. But it was the next day on Pearl pass that I crashed it and couldn’t use it the rest of the trip. Big Bummer. So you’ll notice the rest of the CO and Moab videos there is any drone footage.

    • @DrJohn493
      @DrJohn493 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GetOverItOutdoors Yes that is a bummer about the drone crash. Haven't totalled my Mini or Mavic Air 2 yet but did park the Air 2 in an oak tree when I first got it. Amazingly, after I fished it out of the tree it ran fine. Go figure. Hope you've gotten it fixed or replaced it.

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DrJohn493 Yeah I got it fixed up. I had to replace one of the arms that snapped in two. They're pretty darn tough but I do occasionally have to fix something. I've hit dozens of trees trying to fly thru the forest following/leading the jeep. I only have the Mini so no obstacle avoidance sensors. But I figure for the price I can go through 2 or 3 of them if I can't repair it or retrieve it before I hit the price of the better ones.

    Wow, that Taylor Pass looks like a challenge. Quite a few obstacles and loved how the trail went right up that creek. Did you use your lockers much on that trail?

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it was probably the most technically challenging trail we did on this CO trip. yes I used the lockers a couple times to get over some larger rocks, mostly when coming out of the creek.
