    I just want to say this video is so descriptive and well-made. I appreciate all the help, especially with every little detail. I think I am going to wait until my next batch of eggs arrives before attempting the whole survival approach to try to get these little guys to live, as I was not prepared for my 1st batch of eggs I was surprised with! But do u happen to have a list of the recommended tanks, foods, and additives to best prepare for the next round of eggs to aid in survival? Thanks so much!

    Thank you for this video. It's been so hard to find ANY consistent information for this phase. I'm going to start documenting the process as a newbie .

      If you look back through some older videos I documented my first successful raising! Worth a look

    I place the bucket of new water higher than the tank and use an airtube valve to slow the incoming water to a drip throughout the entire day. No chance of shocking them with water changes that way.

    I know this is an old video and you may not see this but......why not use super fine meshes and have a central sump with tons of live rock to combat ammonia?

    And again a nice video/tutorial! Great work! I love it. Only thing i missed was how you feed the rotifers. Do you use a sieve the sift them out?

      Thank you. Yes a rotifer sieve is required and available at Reed Mariculture

    Could I keep the baby clown fish in a 5 gallon tank or is it a must for them to be in a ten gallon, I have a 5 gallon left over and I’m trying to save money. I just found out my clowns had eggs and I’m trying to find out how to take care of them as quickly as possible

    Great insight into what all is entailed in getting clownfish fry from free swimming to 30 days. Did you get the rotifer sieve at Brine Shrimp Direct? Where did you get the temp gun? Thanks for sharing.

    What do you use for filtration once they are 30-35 days old?

    This might be a silly question but this is the first time Attempting to raise clownfish fry. If I don’t have a juvenile tank set up can I add the juvenile clownfish back to my 80 gal tank safely?

    • @infinite-ichthyologist
      @infinite-ichthyologist 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Until the right size there's a large risk of them being sucked into filters and skimmers, or being predated on by your other fish. It's best to set up a juvenile tank for them until they are a size safe from predation.
