Yes, Alex!!! I fell in love all over again with a male dancers body movements (fully clothed I might add)! Jimin just moves sooo nicely; it's beautiful, he's beautiful! I was literally in the hospital after heart surgery and watched Filter (red suit day) and my heart rate shot up so high and so fast I had the cardiac ward nurses come running to make sure I was okay. God I love this man. Physical proof of the Jimin Effect...confirmed.

True story: after Jin watched Jimin's performance, he complained loudly about having to follow Jimin in the program with his own solo, "Moon," which is a sweet, bouncy pop song and Jin's own little serenade to ARMY - a departure for him; he usually does ballads - when it was obvious that fans would be away from their screens splashing cold water on themselves.
Jimin livestreamed himself last week for about 90 minutes, talking and assembling LEGO sets and playing music that viewers requested (once again demonstrating that his superpower is being totally adorable and wildly sexy in exactly the same moment). Toward the end, he was asked for "Filter" and he said he hadn't heard it in a long time. He sat there singing and doing a bit of the choreo in his chair as he stuck hearts on a LEGO teddy bear. ARMY was probably somewhere in a closet with their phones, hyperventilating. But he promised to perform it again someday.

Clips of Jimin in the red suit doing THAT move was all over Twitter immediately after the MOTS:ONE concert. You couldn’t escape it.
You may notice that Jimin takes clothes from a female mannequin to wear, and also from a male dancer he takes a more masculine jacket. The song is about how he has many sides, does not conform to gender stereotypes or other restrictions on him and can show you many sides of himself that are all still him. That’s why he is smiling the whole time, because he is happily embracing his complex self. Also why he is so flirty in this, because that’s also a core part of himself.

Red suit Jimin singing filter is an EXPERIENCE!!!! The hair, the suit, that look in his eye! He was feeling himself there and it showed. I actually like the red suit better than the purple suit. Filter can actually be pretty sad. Jimin sings about how he would literally be anything people want him to be, to the point of erasing himself to "mold" a pretty lie and be loved (this is a direct reference to the song Fake Love and to his other solo song "Lie"). It can also be interpreted as him actually accepting that he isn’t just one thing that people told him to be and he actually is a human full of charms and surprises that can impress anyone with whatever they want.
When I first heard it, I was confused because the lyrics seemed to be saying the opposite of songs like Fake Love which are all about being true to yourself. But the lyrics can also be saying that a person has many sides and you can be different things at different times while still being true to yourself.
Because MOTS 7 incorporates psychological themes and concepts I think Filter represents how Jimin has no control or has unwillingly given others permission to choose which parts (filters or personas) they like about him and ignore/disregard the ones they don’t like or deem “broken/damaged/or not up to standard” thus “choose your filter”, choose is a command, it’s not even a question, he’s stating that people will choose their opinions on him regardless of how hard he tries to impress everyone with different personalities(filters)-that’s my interpretation based on the concept of mots which is interconnected with mentality-personalities, eg., ego or shadow or persona for example!
The meaning we got from the performance was another one. At the beginning of his career he wanted to look manly and worked hard to act like a macho and stressed himself for being always at the top and appreciated. Then he learned how to embrace his true self and mix the palette (as he said in the lyrics), he wants to be true to himself and be whoever he wants without limits, so having both "feminine" and "masculine" features (as shown in the way his D1 is more masculine coded and D2 is more feminine on aesthetics). And it's linked to the photoshoot in 2019 where he has a fake tattoo with the bigender sign on his arm and his more recent photopholio photos. So he has so many filters and sides of him to show and with whom attract people

The size of your eyes was so cute!!! The red suit is a THING but I do prefer the Day 2 performance. You can see full body more for the fuller choreography, and it's even slinkier I think. Jimin is a stunning dancer and man.

That whole concert was amazing. I watched live with 3 new ARMY friends. I went into a local facebook group that I was in and asked if anyone wanted to get together and share the ticket cost cause I was broke and didn't wanna watch it alone. We got an air bnb together and had a blast :) They're still dear friends to this day :) I made more friends going to Permission to dance in theaters, lol.
Jimin, JK, Tae and Jin's solo songs were so good. And the rapline did Ugh! and my friends all just about died of hot. I'm ace so I'm slightly immune, thank goodness. I don't feel attacked as much as most of my ARMY friends. I mostly die of cuteness...
