I love how when they were winning the awards, TXT, and especially Yeonjun were the first people to stand up and cheer for them. The relationship BTS has with their juniors is so admirable and wholesome! Yeonjun literally shot up standing when they won awards!
And V did the same thing when TXT won an award as well. Their little brother in BigHit
And seeing all of this after watching the suchwita episode with Yeonjun and Taehyun?? Yah, my heart is full. How much txt admire and respect and love BTS, and how much BTS cares for them and supports them, yeah I love them having a great relationship, being in this industry is hard enough already, I’m glad they aren’t completely alone.

true but what song do you think will win the song of the year? i mean just by streams and sales alone like crazy is really hight but JK also have many sales and streams but idk if the artist need to have the song on an album to be nominated.
besides jk and jimin has the highest ranking on sportify korea but what about melon chart? does that not count more on the total score? i know JK is nr 1 right now but fifty and NJ also had alot.

@@lealarsen2017 fifty fifty is not doing good in korea so if we look at charts & everything i think nwjns will win with 'omg'. girl groups have really high streams in korea cuz of the general public, idk why but koreans love ggs lol. but when it comes to boy groups more people actually stan them, participate in votings etc. whereas girl groups dont really have much die hard fans & lack in votings, especially the 4th gen. but bts is an exemption cuz they are the only group doing well both in streaming & voting.

Not only did they win 8 awards (including 4 Daesangs, or Grand Prize) at the 2019 MMAs, they also won 9 awards (including 4 Daesangs) at the 2019 MAMAs - the only group to ever do so. In fact, last year BTS were the inugrial recipients of the Platinum Daesang at the MAMAs, for having swept the grand prizes three years in a row - the only group to ever have done that, as well.💜

I know that they are based on recommendations to see performances but I highly recommend seeing these awards in chronological order. MMA and MAMA, which are two different awards, have given time and space to BTS since 2016 due to the success of Blood Sweet and Tears, it was like this every time from now on. year until 2020 there would be 11 performances in total 5 in the MMA and 6 in the MAMA because in 2018 the MAMA were held in 2 different venues Honk Kong and Japan. It is essential to see each one, for me each one was important since they include different concepts, different break dances, different outfits, even the setlist of songs tends to vary. If the boys put so much dedication to these awards each year, the challenge was to improve and surpass the previous performances. I know that you will enjoy that evolution year after year and the way in which they interpreted their main songs with an audience that increased with the passing of the years. years

This was probably one of their best performances. Jimin's whole performance was so amazingly stunningly beautiful!!!...All seven members are so hardworking and passionate artists with such genuine kindness and humbleness. I admire them all so much...they are truly soulmates!

Melon Music Awards 2019 became a record and triumph for the BTS group! Amazing concert! Each member really puts their heart and soul into every performance. BTS and Army will not forget this award!

The two dudes behind BTS are Yeonjun and Soobin, two of the members of TXT and BTS’ “little brothers”, you have no idea how much TXT admires and loves BTS, and how much BTS cares for them. There’s a Suchwita episode where Yoongi has Yeonjun and Taehyun as guests, and the amount of praise the two had for Yoongi and BTS in general is so heartwarming, about how much they supported them and cared for them when that’s not the norm in this industry, not even if you’re in the same company because of how competitive the industry is. I think you’d enjoy seeing that episode because it will show you how much respect BTS’ little brother group has for them. They have another little brother group called ENHYPEN, who also loves and admires BTS to hell and back. It’s really amazing to see how many young people BTS inspired to become idols, in fact, one of the members of ENHYPEN is a national athlete, he figure skated competitively for 9 years but he was so moved by BTS performance, and how as an idol trainee he found camaraderie and friendship that he dropped his whole life career to pursue a dream ignited by seeing BTS perform live and how much power that had to move people.

I know Jimin performed his live that day. Someone said even though they showed Jungkook's prerecorded performance, he was on the side performing it, without water, at the same time. I just wasn't clear if he was just off to the side doing it?
Jimin's performance in this is my favorite. So graceful and athletic at the same time. He really looked angelic. I love this version of I Need You as well💜💜💜

they continued to sweep the grand prizes for both the mma & mama's since 2019 and received a 'mama platinum' award which was awarded to bts for sweeping the grand prizes 3 years in a row.

The MMA (Melon Music Awards) and the MAMA (Mnet Music Awards) are two different annual awards but the most important and dreamed of for Kpop Artists and Asian musicians in General. The criteria are based on physical digital sales of albums, public voting, number of streams on music platforms, and judge rating for the main awards (daesangs). BTS currently has the most awards, positioning them as the leaders of Kpop and all of Asia. It is an easy achievement since at the beginning the competition was tight as they saw in TROB chapter 12 and maintaining those awards every year was a great challenge due to the number of groups in that industry. Do not forget the quality and dedication that the Kpop groups in their performances to show why they are deserving is quite entertaining to enjoy, very different from the western awards shows where I honestly usually fall asleep

18:18 the Behind the scenes Episodes are normally released a few months after, like MMA was in the end of November so the Episode came out maybe around May or so, sometimes it takes a long time and comes out like in July stuff like that!!
Jimin performed his solo live even though he had pre recorded it! He went really hard so that’s why he was so extremely tired by the end of it and almost couldn’t stand straight.

22:28 when they pre-record performances normally it's to save time and all, but sometimes if they can they'll still perform live for army, like Persona, the pre-recording was showing on the screen but he also performed a little live!! Also, all the solo performances were pre-recorded but Jin, Jimin and Taehyung did it live, if I'm not mistaken, Jimin was more because he wasn't satisfied with his pre-recorded performance, so he basically replaced it!!
The members who could perform live on stage for the audience did - to give them a little something, something - but I think Jimin’s was the only one where the pre-recording wasn’t used. The others were all changed into their Dionysus outfits already while they did their solo parts for the audience and the pre-recorded versions played on the screen. I think that’s why JK was confused in the Memories DVD because during (what I assume was the last rehearsal) he thought he was watching Jimin’s pre-recorded version on screen backstage, until Tae told him that’s Jimin live and he’s rehearsing. There doesn’t seem to be any difference between Jimin’s solo that was televised and the fan cams from inside the venue, so I think his was the only one where they decided to air however he performed it live. I think it worked out that way though because it gave some nice shots of being able to see the audience with the lights in the background. Plus I always think it’s funny that the rose from Boy with Luv is still there lol.

Sooooo proud of our guys!! I love that The Artist of The Year was announced by V's bestie Park Seo Joon and V told PSJ beforehand that they would have real horses on stage. You can see his big smile when their name is called. Also seeing TXT so happy and cheering for BTS always warms my heart.
So, prerecord for this performance was Persona, Mikrokosmos, the solos except for Jimin (although they had a recording just in case), and the part with the horses for Dionysus. No wonder Jimin said he was about to throw up by the end of the Dionysus dance break! If you want to see more of what is happening behind the scenes during the Dionysus performance, I highly recommend watching one of the members' fan cams. If you watch Jimin's, you see him pretty much double over in his chair with exhaustion once the cameras are off.
when Jin meant that it's his first solo stage, in award show performances, usually, it's just J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook who do solo stages before their group performance. In MMA 2019, it's the first time that all of them have solo stages.

the difference of a red carpet in america and a red carpet in korea is night and day. They have a photowall they stand in front off, all media outlets take their photos there, and then one red carpet host that talks with them and then they leave. it's way more efficient.

They did pre-record the performances for broadcast since they wouldn't have enough time for outfit changes and everything BUT they did perform on stage for the fans, the shot of jugnkook dancing with the lights off 22:48, he was out on stage where fans up front could see him. This was such a high point for ARMY in re to award ceremony performances. Ironic that we went from this in 2019 to covid and remotes for the next few years. Still, those remotes were another high point as those were the glue that made our bond even stronger during tough times.

The term Grand Prize usually refers to ______of the Year (song, album, artist, etc) & there's 4 Grand Prizes for each awards ceremony.

it wasn't as long and epic as this one but in mama nothing was prerecorded... it was like 2 songs > short video (they go backstage to change outfits) > 2 songs > short video > Dionysus and it's all live

BTS are incredibly successful, talented and passionate as solo artists… but together… BTS is an unstoppable and undeniable force of nature. the magic created by them being together is unique and they’re the perfect model for teamwork… but what they’ve created together and have become isn’t something anybody can just replicate with hard work, humility, intelligence and skills… them together is fate. BTS find you when you need them the most. Imo it’s no coincidence that they thought about disbanding 2017-2018.. but persevered… and they blew up online even more 2019… and the pandemic started… so many new army found them through the pandemic globally. The world needed BTS during the pandemic, wether new army or been here forever army, I know I’ve seen endless comments about BTS helping us through that time. I believe it was fate. 💜

MMA 2019 is for the book what a wonderful year for BTS ARMY even if we went through hard times still were more precious moments and this one is the top, like BTS being the first artist EVER to win 4 grand prizes is insane and I remember myself up at 3am just to watch this iconic performance and no regrets cus THEY ATE IT UP and I saying this with a lot of respect but there's no artist that have done a performance like this just BTS.

When pre-recording shows on the screen artists in this case BTS will be on stage to perform for the live audience, but just in settings that don't hinder the pre-recording. So, Jungkook was on stage in front of the crowd, just without lights.

This was MMA 2019 you should also watch MAMA 2019. There BTS danced to their old songs like Bulletproof 2 and No. It was iconic especially because of the other Idols' reactions. They were mesmerised by their dance break.
