I purchased a fake in silver knowing that it was a fake. It cost me $19 on AliExpress and even though it might not be razor Sharp I bet it will do everything that it was designed to do. I do have other high-end Spyderco knives and I’m not going to list them now but I bought this one to find out what the real one would be like and I might purchase one and gift this one to my wife. I put a titanium deep carry clip on it. It is labeled Endura 4 and I like it.
@@KNIFEBOYPRACTICAL I bought it knowing it was probably a fake since it was about half the price of what they normally go for. The good thing about Amazon is that I was able to return it for a full refund, no questions asked.
It was from a sketchy Amazon vendor named bogarv (fulfilled by Amazon) and I had suspicions he was selling fakes because the price was so low, but it's Amazon so I also knew I could return it. There are legit vendors on Amazon, but he wasn't one of them lol. I must not have been the first to report him, because the next day after reporting him to Amazon support his listing was taken down.
@AC-lq4zw Thanks. Glad he got taken down. I used to collect knives about 17 years ago, and I'm getting back into it. I bought a PM2 and a Cricket off Amazon. The PM2 was fine, but the Cricket was cosmetically damaged. Needless to say, those were my first, and last high-end knife purchases from Amazon.i read in the Spyderco forums that DLT trading was very reputable, so I bought a Harpy from them, so we'll see how that turns out in a few days. BTW, thanks for making this video. We all need to be up to speed on the latest scams.

If you bought it from a licensed retailer you don't have to worry about this

Where did you get the fake? I want to know so I can avoid buying from there.
